Turning Point USA is standing up to the Chinese Communist Party. Through our China on Campus initiative, Turning Point USA is highlighting the infiltration of our educational institutions and halting the Chinese government in its tracks. We will locate, identify, and expose every school and professor that receives funding from the Chinese government. Through our efforts, Turning Point USA aims to close every Confucius Institute on American campuses for good.

<a href="https://www.wm.edu/sites/dhp/faculty/ciccariello-maher-george.php">Dr. George Ciccariello-Maher</a> is a Visiting Scholar of Decolonizing Humanities and Modern Languages and Literatures at the College of William and Mary. He previously taught in the Department of History and Politics at Drexel University.

From the College of William and Mary's website, his work at the Decolonizing Humanities Project is <a href="https://www.wm.edu/sites/dhp/decoloniality/index.php">described</a> as exploring, “how colonization, modernity, capitalism, and, most recently, neoliberalism has displaced an array of modes of living, thinking and being.  Decoloniality reveals “the dark side of modernity” and how it is built “on the backs” of “others.”

Ciccarello first came to notoriety for his racially inflammatory statements on twitter. On Christmas of 2016, he <a href="https://www.inquirer.com/philly/news/Drexel-officials-Professor-George-Ciccariello-Mahers-White-Genocide-tweet-was-utterly-reprehensible.html">tweeted</a> out,

“All I want for Christmas is White Genocide,”

and,

“To clarify: when the whites were massacred during the Haitian Revolution, that was a  good thing indeed.”

He also tweeted out,

“Some guy gave up his first-class seat for a uniformed soldier. People are thanking him. I’m trying not to vomit or yell about Mosul.”

When Ciccariello was confronted by <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ndkvgmGIQHQ">Tucker Carlson</a> over his tweets, he only proceeded to double-down. In the following exchange, he defended the academic veracity of his tweets by claiming, “performance art is scholarship.”

Ciccariello doesn’t shy away from utilizing violence to accomplish his radical beliefs. In an op-ed for <a href="https://www.salon.com/2015/05/04/riots_work_wolf_blitzer_and_the_washington_post_completely_missed_the_real_lesson_from_baltimore/">Salon</a>, he praised the riots that had engulfed Baltimore in 2015 in an article titled “Riots Work.” He wrote, “without the threat of insurgency in the streets, no charges would ever have been brought in the murder of Freddie Gray.” Obviously not a proponent of police, Ciccariello openly <a href="https://www.salon.com/2015/04/24/we_must_disband_the_police_body_cameras_arent_enough_only_radical_change_will_stop_cops_who_kill/">advocates</a> for the abolishment of police forces, describing them as, “originally slavecatchers.”

When not calling for the disbandment of our law enforcement, Ciccariello is an ardent defender of the socialist regime in Venezuela. He regularly <a href="https://www.counterpunch.org/2013/04/12/thatcher-is-dead-long-live-chavez/">praises</a> Hugo Chavez and has bizarrely <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nhYz1owM-uA&amp;feature=youtu.be">claimed</a> that Venezuela does not have corrupt elections.

Ciccariello doesn’t shy away from violent groups as well. In order to fight white-nationalism, Ciccarello called on Americans to embrace the radical group ANTIFA in an interview with <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WTv_hqjrmi8&amp;feature=youtu.be">Democracy Now</a> following the El Paso mass shooting. Although committed by a stated white nationalist, in the same interview Ciccariello placed the blame on Donald Trump for the deaths, claiming that his rhetoric on immigrants inspired the shooter’s rampage.  Ciccariello made similar accusations in a prior <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WTv_hqjrmi8&amp;feature=youtu.be">interview</a> about the Texas Church Massacre, alluding that “whiteness” and Trump’s stoking of white victimhood was to blame for the murders.

<a href="https://english.ucdavis.edu/people/jclover">Joshua Clover</a> is a Professor of English at the University of California, Davis. According to his university biography, Clover specializes in “critical theory, Marxism, political theory, political economy, poetry, and poetics.”
Clover was widely<a href="https://sacramento.cbslocal.com/2019/02/26/uc-davis-professor-joshua-clover-cops-killed/"> condemned</a> after past tweets and statements in a 2015 article with<a href="https://archives.sfweekly.com/exhibitionist/2015/09/17/the-write-stuff-joshua-clover-on-wearing-intense-knowledge-lightly-and-changing-quickly"> San Francisco Weekly</a> advocating for the murder of police officers were uncovered. His statements include: 
<ul>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">“People think that cops need to be reformed. They need to be killed. “What’s wrong with society today?”</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">“I am thankful that every living cop will one day be dead, some by their own hand, some by others, too many of old age #letsnotmakemore”</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">&#8220;I mean, it’s easier to shoot cops when their backs are turned, no?”</li>
</ul>
Clover&#8217;s comments were not uncovered, nor did they go viral, until 4 years later in 2019.

<a href="https://www.ucdavis.edu/academics/teaching-and-learning/new-faculty/sara-giordano/">Professor Sara Giordano</a>, University of California Davis, has vowed to “challenge the authority of Science” by “rewriting knowledge” through a feminist lens. Not only is science rooted in racism, she alleges; it has been used to perpetuate racism and colonial practices.

<a href="https://manoa.hawaii.edu/biology/people/marguerite-butler">Dr. Marguerite Butler</a> is a Professor of Zoology at the University of Hawaii-Manoa. Butler is currently being sued by a student for assault and battery. She allegedly attacked the student for not transporting bugs and flammable liquids. According to the student, he was trying to respect federal and state laws regarding the transportation and removal of these specific fluids and native bugs.

<a href="https://math.hawaii.edu/wordpress/people/paharron/">Dr. Piper Harron</a> is a Temporary Assistant Professor of Mathematics at the University of Hawaii. Harron wrote an article about how white, male professors should resign or take a demotion in order to improve diversity. Harron wrote, "If you are a white cis man (meaning you identify as male and you were assigned male at birth) you almost certainly should resign from your position of power. That’s right, please quit. Too difficult? Well, as a first step, at least get off your hiring committee, your curriculum committee, and make sure you’re replaced by a woman of color or trans person." She also wrote, "What can universities do? Well, that’s easier. Stop hiring white cis men (except as needed to get/retain people who are not white cis men) until the problem goes away. If you think this is a bad or un-serious idea, your sexism/racism/transphobia is showing."

<a href="http://www.medschool.umaryland.edu/profiles/Younus-Faheem/">Dr. Faheem Younus</a> is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Maryland. Dr. Younus became infamous for his comments on social media regarding the Charleston shooting. He blamed the shooting on former sniper Chris Kyle as well as Fox News, for creating a &#8216;culture&#8217; that encourages mass shooting.

Dr. Tambe has made a number of outrageous claims on Twitter about economics and feminism. Recently she called for “men control” in addition to gun control.

She, along with her co-instructors, wrote an e-mail to students in her class saying that debating man's role in climate change would not be allowed and that if students did not fully accept that climate change was occurring and man-made they should not take the course.

Rose argues that successful black people who believe in the “American dream” perpetuate white supremacy and that it’s unfortunate that many black people buy into the notion that “the American dream is available to any and everyone as long as you work hard.” Rose stated that it doesn't help when prominent black people in the media perpetuate an idea that America is post-racial. She is also the author the book “Abolishing White Masculinity.”

She wrote in an op-ed that there are good arguments for restricting free speech rights. She said that racist hate speech has been linked to higher rates of smoking and obesity, for example. Supporting her argument for restricting speech, she pointed out that recently the Supreme Court ruled that a music group ("The Slants", a band made up of Asian-Americans) was allowed to use a derogatory name as their band name, although she did not point out the band was using the name to mock people who use the name in a derogatory fashion.

Professor Thrasher is on record defending the riots and looting that occurred in response to George Floyd's death. In an interview with <a href="https://www.npr.org/2020/05/31/866306943/officials-have-condemned-violence-amid-george-floyd-protests-journalist-steven-t">NPR</a>, he described the rampant destruction burning of police stations by rioters as a "proportionate response."

Thrasher was previously the subject of controversy after his <a href="https://legalinsurrection.com/2019/05/nyu-graduation-speaker-calls-trump-a-fascist-praises-anti-israel-bds-movement/">commencement speech</a> at New York University, in which he called President Trump a Fascist and praised the BDS movement against Israel. In 2018, Marc Lamont Hill was <a href="https://www.cnn.com/2018/11/29/media/marc-lamont-hill-cnn/index.html">fired</a> by CNN for his anti-Israel remarks. Speaking before the UN, Hill called for a "free Palestine from the river to the sea, " which are sentiments widely understood as a call for the elimination of the state of Israel and replacement with an Arab state from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea.

Just prior to Independence Day 2019, Dyson appeared on<a href="https://www.mediaite.com/politics/michael-eric-dyson-on-betsy-ross-flag-symbolism-why-dont-we-wear-a-swastika-for-july-fourth/"> MSNBC </a>and compared the iconic Betsy Ross Flag to a Nazi Swastika,

“Well, it hails from the Revolutionary period, of course, of this nation’s founding, which was deeply embroiled in, you know, enslavement, of the owners of slaves…..Right-wing white supremacists have used it as a rallying cry for their own cause.” 

Dyson continued,

“Words matter, symbols matter too. Why don’t we wear a swastika for July Fourth? Because I don’t know, it makes a difference.”

Dyson is also associated with the notorious anti-Semite and Nation of Islam leader, Louis Farrakhan. In 2010, Dyson<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ULAThBZKiM"> participated</a> in a roundtable discussion hosted by PBS with Farrakhan and<a href="http://www.finalcall.com/artman/publish/Minister_Louis_Farrakhan_9/article_7248.shtml"> interviewed</a> him the same year about the economic condition of black communities.

Strzok—a former counterintelligence agent with the FBI—was known for his lead role in the investigation of Russian interference in the 2016 election and former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn.

<a href="https://history.columbian.gwu.edu/jessica-krug">Jessica Krug</a> is an Associate Professor with an expertise in Africa and the African Diaspora at George Washington University. <a href="https://news.yahoo.com/jessica-krug-george-washington-university-232014327.html">It was revealed</a> that Krug had been posing as an African American woman throughout her life. In a post on <a href="https://medium.com/@jessakrug/the-truth-and-the-anti-black-violence-of-my-lies-9a9621401f85">Medium</a>, Krug admitted to the fabrication and described herself as a “white, Jewish child from suburban Kansas City” who had been pretending to be black in order to advance her career. However, close associates claim Krug preemptively revealed the hoax after friends and colleagues began to doubt and <a href="https://nypost.com/2020/09/03/jessica-krug-admitted-she-lied-about-being-black-after-being-caught/">confront her</a> over the authenticity of her story.
