Leyva</a>, Vanderbilt University, complained in an academic journal article that the field of mathematics is a “white and heteronormatively masculinized space.” Citing the “masculinization of mathematics,” Leyva then suggests that the apparent “gender gap” in mathematical ability is socially constructed (as opposed to arising from inherently different cognitive abilities) and therefore a “myth of male superiority.”

<a href="https://www.bu.edu/antiracism-center/profile/ibram-x-kendi/">Ibram X Kendi</a> is the Andrew W. Mellon Professor of Humanities at Boston University and the Frances B. Cashin Fellow at the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study at Harvard University. He is best known for authoring the New York Times bestseller <a href="https://www.ibramxkendi.com/how-to-be-an-antiracist-1">How to Be an Antiracist</a> along with <a href="https://www.ibramxkendi.com/stamped">Stamped from the Beginning</a> and <a href="https://bookshop.org/books/antiracist-baby-board-book/9780593110416">Antiracist Baby</a>. He is also the founder of the <a href="https://www.bu.edu/antiracism-center/">Center for Antiracist Research</a> at Boston University.
Kendi claims that racism is deeply embedded in American Institutions and in each American individual. During an <a href="https://youtu.be/pEjpbDSoBCA?t=1550">event with</a> Google, Kendi stated that anyone raised in America is essentially raised to be racist.
“I think it&#8217;s important to almost recognize that to be raised in the United States is to be raised to be racist. And to be raised to be racist is to be raised to almost be addicted to racist ideas.”  
In the same talk, Kendi <a href="https://youtu.be/pEjpbDSoBCA?t=1528">defines racism</a> as policy, or support of a policy, in which the outcome results in racial disparities.
At a separate <a href="https://youtu.be/TzuOlyyQlug?t=156">lecture at the Aspen Institute</a>, Kendi stated that the only solution to racism is “anti-racism” or the process of supporting policies that reduce racial disparities, such as wealth redistribution to alleviate the income gap. Failure to support or opposition to these policies is emblematic of racism.
Using this reasoning, Kendi <a href="https://www.city-journal.org/how-to-be-an-antiracist">declares</a> that the free market is essentially racist.
“Capitalism is essentially racist&#8230;racism is essentially capitalist.” 
Kendi has <a href="https://www.politico.com/interactives/2019/how-to-fix-politics-in-america/inequality/pass-an-anti-racist-constitutional-amendment/">advocated</a> for an antiracist amendment to the constitution to monitor and punish officials with “racist” ideas. Proposed policies in the amendment include:

<li style="font-weight: 400;">Permanently fund a “Department of Antiracism.”</li>

She tweeted, “Every MLK week I commit myself to not spending a dime in white-owned businesses. and every year i find it nearly impossible.” Her tweets criticizing white people forced the president of the university to write a letter on the Boston University website addressing the tweets.

<a href="https://www.ces.sdsu.edu/blog/2015/10/larc-instructor-profile-ghassan-zakaria/">Dr. Ghassan Zakaria</a> is a professor at San Diego State University. During the first week of classes, Zakaria distributed a map of the Middle East highlighting Arabic-speaking countries. However, it omitted Israel and labeled it as Palestine.

Professor <a href="https://politicalscience.sdsu.edu/people/faculty/graubart_j.html">Jonathan Graubart</a> is a political science professor at San Diego State University. He recently made a highly inappropriate comment after finding out about Sen. John McCain’s brain tumor, stating,“McCain is a war criminal and, more to the point, someone who as a politician has championed horrifying action and been lousy on state commitment to public health. So dying or not, he’s a risible public figure.” He also took this chance to criticize his views on health insurance, and bash him, using him as an apparent contrast to Einstein, saying that, after comparing the two, “this analogy should not be taken too seriously. McCain is certainly no Einstein and I don’t just mean on brains. Einstein had very appealing humanist instincts, as a socialist, antiwar, anti-imperialist, and anti-statist Zionist."

In October 2015, she was filmed on a body camera blocking a road during the University of Missouri&#8217;s homecoming parade. When asked to move onto the sidewalk by police, she can be seen confronting and yelling, &#8220;get your f****** hands off of me!&#8221;, at an officer.
In November of the same year, Click was filmed confronting and trying to snatch the camera of a student journalist covering a protest at the University. When the reporter refused to leave, Click was filmed asking protestors for some, &#8220;muscle,&#8221; t0 physically eject him from the protest site. After she was charged with a misdemeanor for her actions at the protest site, the University elected to fire Click.

<a href="https://gallatin.nyu.edu/people/faculty/amh20.html">Amin Husain</a> is a part-time faculty member at New York University and the Pratt Institute. According to the university’s website, Husain’s work focuses on “resistance and liberation, movement generated theory and practice.” 
Husain is also confounded and directs the NYC-based activist group, “<a href="https://decolonizethisplace.org/">Decolonize This Place</a>” (DTP).  According to their website, DTP events center around “Indigenous Struggle, Black Liberation, Free Palestine, Global Wage Workers, and De-Gentrification.”
Husain and DTP are known for their extreme rhetoric and aggressive confrontations with law enforcement. Husain and DTP utilize ANTIFA style-tactics during protests. The <a href="https://decolonizethisplace.org/">homepage</a> of DTP regularly features videos of burning police vehicles. 
Prior to the Museum of Natural History’s decision to remove their statue of Theodore Roosevelt, Husain joined a chorus of activists demanding that the statue be removed. DTP itself <a href="https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5c5e0c57d86cc9226827c754/t/5ee7ad184833d0007a2078fd/1592241433767/How+To+Take+Down+A+Monument_Poster.jpg">posted</a> a detailed graphic with instructions on toppling statues. 
In January, DTP posted the following graphic for an upcoming <a href="https://www.campusreform.org/?ID=14391">protest</a> against the NYP. The damage from the protests led by Husain resulted in 13 arrests and over $100,000 in <a href="https://nypost.com/2020/02/15/nyu-professor-founded-anarchist-group-that-attacked-subways-last-month/">damages</a> to the NYC subway system.
As a member of NYC Solidarity With Palestine, Husain is known for using his position to entwine his anti-police and anti-Israel views. Husain projected his radicalism at the June “No To Annexation” rally, hosted by the anti-Israel group <a href="https://www.wolpalestine.com/about">Within Our Lifetimes</a>. 
As a featured speaker, Husain addressed the assembled crowd, declaring:  “The police that are around us are not our friends. You should not speak to them. They are our enemy. They are an impediment to the liberation of Palestine…..When I saw that precinct burn, I thought I was closer to Palestine. When I see an NYPD cop car burn &#8211; I say we are waking up a revolutionary country.” 
At an Al-Quds Day rally in 2016, Husain spoke <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n1lhMCj4ESw&amp;feature=youtu.be&amp;t=325">glowingly</a> of Islamic Jihadhists:  “(We are) proud Muslims fighting for justice, and in all the ways possible, and yes, jihadis, jihadis in all the ways possible.”

<a href="http://www.med.nyu.edu/pophealth/faculty/caplaa01">Dr. Arthur Caplan</a> is a Distinguished Professor of Bioethics at New York University. Caplan argued in  2015 that Trump’s tactics for gaining support were just like Hitler’s! Caplan argued that Trump’s immigration plan “should be viewed in the repugnant tradition of Hitler.” He told Campus Reform “The greatest danger is that a man willing to use racism to gain political support gets elected and then shapes his policies on poverty, immigration, criminal justice, and jobs on the basis of his blatantly and dangerous racist views.” Ironically, Caplan previously criticized people who used the Nazi analogy in bioethics debates.

<a href="http://gallatin.nyu.edu/people/faculty/flr207.html">Dr. Frank Roberts</a>, a professor at New York University, warned of “Jewish elites” controlling the media, a favorite trope of anti-Semites.  He tweeted “Its crucial for the public to realize that NBC/MSNBC,The NYTimes,US News &amp; World Report, &amp; the NY Daily News are all owned by Jewish elites” and “Speaking out against Israel's massacre &amp; Jewish elites' monopoly of the American free press is not anti-Semitic. #Gaza, #Flotilla, #OilSpill.”

<a href="http://steinhardt.nyu.edu/faculty/Mark_Crispin_Miller">Dr. Mark Crispin Miller</a>, a professor at New York University warned that President Bush was spreading propaganda in order to form a theocracy in the United States. He also compared Bush to Hitler, saying “All the major war-drives in modern history... in Germany, in the Soviet Union, and in the Middle East -- have been impelled by people who believed that they were at risk, that they were being persecuted, that they faced annihilation. Hitler actually believed that 'world Jewry' threatened Germany, and that his bloody enterprise was a means of self-defense against the Jews. We know all too well that al-Qaeda's people universally regard the Jews and Christians as plotting to wipe out Islam. And the Christo-fascist types now in control of the United States believe that they're the victims of non-Christians."

<a href="https://as.nyu.edu/content/nyu-as/as/faculty/ulrich-c-baer.html">Dr. Ulrich Baer</a> is a Professor of Comparative Literature at New York University. He wrote an editorial in the New York Times supporting the suppression of free speech on college campuses. He claimed "The idea of freedom of speech does not mean a blanket permission to say anything anybody thinks. It means balancing the inherent value of a given view with the obligation to ensure that other members of a given community can participate in discourse as fully recognized members of that community."

Dr. Oneida Meranto is currently an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Metropolitan State University, Denver. She began to blame the U.S. for what happened the day after 9/11. She also wrote a new Pledge of Allegiance in 2002, which said among other statements, “I pledge allegiance to the people of Iraq, Palestine and Afghanistan, and to their struggles to survive and resist slavery to corporate greed, brutal wars against their families, and the economic and environmental ruin wrought by global capitalism.”

According to her university biography, Jackson’s research and teachings are focused on “black politics, gender and sexuality, political behavior, public opinion, and mixed methods.” 

During the rioting that followed in the wake of George Floyd’s Death, Professor Jackson described police officers on her <a href="https://twitter.com/JennMJacksonPhD">Twitter</a> account as "employed in an institution meant to eradicate Blackness.” She wrote:

"the "goodness" of cops is unimportant. They are employed in an institution meant to eradicate Blackness. The philosophical principles of being a police officer are racist and anti-Black. They are required to do terrible things.”

According to his university biography, Katz’s positions deal with the “intersections of art history and queer history.” 

In a 2016 article, Professor Katz<a href="http://www.buffalo.edu/ubnow/stories/2016/06/katz-orlando.html"> blamed</a> conservatives for the Pulse Nightclub shooting that claimed 49 lives. He wrote, “What we are trying to do here is camouflage the root of the problem, which is a long history of violent political rhetoric and homophobic policies by Republican officials and their conservative allies.”

Rather than Islamic Terrorism, he argued that anti-gay bigotry from the Christian right is a greater threat than ISIS.
