Stevenson made the list after making the claim that the lack of women found in Economics textbooks is the reason so few women pursue Economics as a major. In a study she conducted with Hanna Zlotnick, she found that 77% of people found in the leading Economics textbooks were male.

<a href="https://lsa.umich.edu/history/people/faculty/jrcole.html">Dr. Juan Cole</a> is a Professor of History at the University of Michigan. He believes right-wing Jews and an “Islamophobic network” were “a key influence” to the shooting that killed nine people at Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston, S.C. He has also argued that recognizing Israel as a state is racist.

<a href="https://lsa.umich.edu/stats/people/faculty/fink.html">Nadiya Fink</a> is a statistics lecturer at University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. After a conservative activist satirically changed his preferred pronoun to "His Majesty", Fink threatened to punish any student who mocked the preferred pronoun system.

<a href="https://lsa.umich.edu/comm/people/regular-faculty/sdoug.html">Dr. Susan Douglas</a>, a professor at University of Michigan, publicized her hate for Republicans in an article from In These Times. She says, “I hate Republicans. I can’t stand the thought of having to spend the next two years watching Mitch McConnell, John Boehner, Ted Cruz, Darrell Issa or any of the legions of other blowhards denying climate change, thwarting immigration reform or championing fetal ‘personhood.’”

Charles H.F. Davis is an Assistant Professor at the Center for the Study of Higher and Postsecondary Education at the University of Michigan. He previously taught at the University of Southern California. According to his university biography, Davis’s research and teaching focuses on, “race and racism, systems of oppression, and structures of domination in U.S. higher education and its social contexts.”

Davis previously rose to notoriety in 2017 for a series of <a href="https://twitter.com/hfdavis?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Eauthor">racially inflammatory tweets</a>. As reported by <a href="https://www.thecollegefix.com/usc-professor-defends-tweet-promoting-violence-whiteness/">The College Fix</a>, he tweeted that “whiteness” must be destroyed and alluded to the necessity of violence in confronting it.

“White supremacist capitalist patriarchy must be destroyed” Davis tweeted on May 5, 2017.

The background photo of his twitter account at the time featured a black woman pointing a gun at a pig that clearly represents a caricature of a police officer. 

When contacted over his remarks, Davis responded, “To be clear, I am decidedly against whiteness as a social and political ideology, which systematically marginalize and disenfranchise people of color from opportunities for societal advancement. In addition, I am against the institution of policing, which has historically and continuously enacted racial terror, sexual violence, and economic exploitation against racial minorities, women and LGBTQ communities, and economically disadvantaged working-class people.”

When asked if any of these tweets might make students uncomfortable, Davis <a href="http://hfdavis.com/blog/an-interview-with-a-conservative">responded</a> that any discomfort experienced by his white students is a result of their “white fragility.” 

Davis had previously advocated for the right of students to disrupt conservative speakers on campus. In the wake of <a href="https://badgerherald.com/news/2016/11/17/conservative-pundit-ben-shapiro-lectures-to-turbulent-crowd-on-safe-spaces-freedom-of-speech/">protesters heckling</a> Ben Shapiro’s lecture at the University of Wisconsin Madison, school regents approved a <a href="https://www.chicagotribune.com/nation-world/ct-university-of-wisconsin-protest-punishment-20171006-story.html">policy</a> to suspend or expel students that purposefully disrupt events. Davis’s subsequent <a href="https://www.chicagotribune.com/nation-world/ct-university-of-wisconsin-protest-punishment-20171006-story.html">op-ed</a> at Inside Higher Ed argued that this only reinforced white supremacy: “To be clear, it is a decision that reinforces institutionalized white supremacy -- and other oppressive forms of systemic power.”

Despite being Jewish, Davis argues that conservative speakers like Shapiro have hijacked the First Amendment to push “white supremacist agendas.”  

Davis’s website, which is listed by the University of Michigan on his biography, <a href="https://static1.squarespace.com/static/51ab9fa0e4b06a38e604420a/t/5edaf71d1ab0434751b2e960/1591408468354/HF+Davis+%E2%80%93%C2%A0EPK.pdf">advertises </a>that he has taught the issues of “ race, racism, and systemic oppression in education and society” to over “7,000 students, educators and institutional leaders.” The <a href="http://hfdavis.com/">home page</a> of the site also features links to organizations that advocate for the Black Lives Matter movement, abolishing the police, and boycotting the nation of Israel.

Professor Begeal made the list after issuing a number of Tweets in response to the March For Life held in January. Some of her Tweets included, &#8220;If you support #MarchforLife and believe in privatized prisons, you are a racist, so please sit down and shut up.&#8221; as well as, &#8220;If you support #MarchforLife but you aren&#8217;t a woman, please sit down and shut the fuck up.&#8221;

Zenkus made the list after responding to a conservative journalists comment about a recent CNN Tweet. Zenkus responded to the pro-capitalism tweet sent by the journalist by saying, &#8220;Odd how you forget the millions who died under #capitalism. The two world wars, centuries of slavery and the genocide of native americans. Bet they didn&#8217;t think that was cool either.&#8221; Zenkus also responded to another user who claimed the Nazi party were a &#8220;movement of the left&#8221; by saying, &#8220;Hitler was a capitalist. Good friends with Henry Ford. Please, use the Google machine. It&#8217;s there for all of us.&#8221;

They can go f**k each other in their fat a***s &#8211; you see, I really do not have anything to loose [sic], hence nothing to be controlled,” he wrote in response to an article titled “The Globalists: Who Control Us!”.

<a href="https://sociology.rutgers.edu/faculty/affliliated-graduate-faculty/541-kumar-deepa">Dr. Deepa Kumar</a> is a Professor of Media Studies as well as Middle Eastern Studies at Rutgers University. She argued on Twitter that the U.S. military is worse than ISIS. Kumar wrote on Twitter, "Yes ISIS is brutal, but US is more so, 1.3 million killed in Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan."

<a href="http://womens-studies.rutgers.edu/faculty/core-faculty/143-jasbir-puar">Dr. Jasbir Puar</a>, a professor at Rutgers University, was invited to speak at Vassar. Her lecture was titled “Inhumanist Biopolitics: How Palestine Matters.” In her lecture, she accuses Israel of “stunting” growth of Palestinian bodies through scientific experiment as well as harvesting their organs.

<a href="http://www.kevin-allred.com/">Kevin Allred</a> was an adjunct instructor at Rutgers University. He underwent a psych evaluation after a series of questionable and possibly threatening tweets relating to Trump and the Second Amendment. He also went to Twitter after the election to complain that Rutgers had not publicly ensured the safety of students after Trump won. He also teaches a class called "Politicizing Beyonce". He was <a href="https://www.insidehighered.com/news/2016/11/21/rutgers-places-adjunct-leave-tweets-he-says-were-based-rhetoric-president-elect">placed</a> on administrative leave as of 2016

<a href="http://history.rutgers.edu/faculty-directory/174-markowitz-norman">Dr. Norman Markowitz</a> is a Professor of History at Rutgers University. Dr. Markowitz is also an active member of the Communist Party USA since 1978.  He writes and teaches about communism using his “Marxist Perspective.” As a supporter of Obama, Markowitz said that it would be good if Obama’s policies were labeled socialist because it would bring socialism to the forefront and looked at more seriously as a viable option for Americans. He has been a longtime defender of the Communist spies Julius and Ethel Rosenberg, and has said he has “enormous respect” for Howard Zinn, a Marxist historian.

<a href="http://www.polisci.rutgers.edu/cb-profile/userprofile/whfield">Dr. William Field</a>, a professor at Rutgers University, sent out an email to all political science majors and minors to protest against Condoleeza Rice serving as their commencement speaker. He was also said to have congratulated one of the lead organizers of the protest who had damaged university property.

<a href="https://law.rutgers.edu/directory/view/mbk69">Margo Kaplan</a> is a Professor of Law at Rutgers University. According to her University biography, she teaches courses on “Criminal Law, Health Law and Policy, and Sex Crimes” and explores the “legal limitations on intimate decisions.”

Kaplan has spent her recent career attempting to normalize pedophilia. In a paper for the <a href="https://scholarlycommons.law.wlu.edu/wlulr/vol72/iss1/4/">Washington and Lee Law Review</a>, she advocates for the reclassification of pedophilia as a mental disorder so that pedophiles may be awarded more civil rights:

“...we should not categorically deny pedophilia the civil rights protections afforded to other mental disorders without a convincing normative justification supported by cogent scientific evidence. Strengthening civil rights protections for those with pedophilia also increases access to treatment and support that helps prevent child abuse.”

In a subsequent piece for the <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2014/10/06/opinion/pedophilia-a-disorder-not-a-crime.html">New York Times</a>, Kaplan attempts a sickening effort to lure readers into sympathizing with pedophiles by eschewing the obvious and violent rape of a minor as a simple childhood crush:

“THINK back to your first childhood crush. Maybe it was a classmate or a friend next door. Most likely, through school and into adulthood, your affections continued to focus on others in your approximate age group. But imagine if they did not. By some estimates, 1 percent of the male population continues, long after puberty, to find themselves attracted to prepubescent children. These people are living with pedophilia, a sexual attraction to prepubescents that often constitutes a mental illness. Unfortunately, our laws are failing them and, consequently, ignoring opportunities to prevent child abuse.”

Her intellectual sleight of hand is prevalent in both pieces that she authored. Kaplan blames the abuse of children partially on what she views as the severity in which society treats pedophiles.

When later interviewed by <a href="https://www.phillymag.com/news/2014/10/06/pedophilia-not-a-crime-rutgers-margo-kaplan/">Philadelphia Magazine</a>, she claimed to be “shocked” at the amount of support she had received for her article.

<a href="https://history.rutgers.edu/people/faculty/details/1143-bray-mark">Mark Bray</a> is a part-time lecturer in the Department of History at Rutgers University.

Bray first gained notoriety in 2017 when he <a href="https://www.mhpbooks.com/books/antifa/">authored</a> "The Anti-Fascist Handbook," and offered to <a href="https://campusreform.org/?id=14972">donate</a> half of the proceeds to ANTIFA.

Bray fully endorses ANTIFA’s embrace of violence as a tactic, and often describes it as “self-defense”. He has <a href="https://www.campusreform.org/?ID=9616">stated</a> that in order to “preemptively” shut down far-right events and gatherings,  “physical violence against white supremacists is both ethically justifiable and strategically effective.”

Soon after publication, he appeared on NBC to <a href="https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/white-house/antifa-violence-ethical-author-explains-why-n796106">defend</a> the use of force against opposing protestors. He claimed that as an illiberal organization, ANTIFA has and will continue to shut down the free speech of the far right.

Bray recently penned an op-ed in the <a href="https://www.washingtonpost.com/outlook/2020/06/01/trump-antifa-terrorist-organization/">Washington Post</a> in the midst of mass-rioting following the death of George Floyd. After expressing sympathy with the looters, Bray claims that police officers are, in fact, deadlier than ANTIFA.  He wrote, “...and in the United States, ANTIFA have never killed anyone, unlike their enemies in Klan hoods and squad cars.” 

After his views were <a href="https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/red-alert-politics/dartmouth-president-disavows-professor-justified-antifa-violence-self-defense">condemned</a> by Dartmouth University - his employer at the time - Bray soon began lecturing at Rutgers, where his university biography describes him as a “historian of human rights, terrorism, and politics in Modern Europe.”

<a href="https://asianlanguages.rutgers.edu/menu-i/69-richard-vanness-simmons">Richard VanNess Simmons</a> is a professor of Chinese and East Asian Studies and serves as the <a href="https://www.ciru.rutgers.edu/about-us/people-2">Director of the Confucius Institute</a> at Rutgers University. The Confucius Institute is funded by the Chinese Communist Party and serves as a focal point for the dissemination of propaganda and foreign espionage on American campuses.

<a href="https://africanastudies.rutgers.edu/people/core-faculty/people-list/30-faculty/140-brittney-cooper">Brittney Cooper</a> is an associate professor of Africana and Women’s and Gender Studies at Rutgers University. Much of her research and writing centers around the intersections of race, feminism, and gender. Cooper’s work has led her to develop a number of bizarre opinions:

-While Cooper claims that most American Christians worship a God of “white supremacy and patriarchy,” she chooses to <a href="https://www.salon.com/2015/04/01/the_rights_made_up_god_how_bigots_invented_a_white_supremacist_jesus/">worship a Jesus that was “queer”</a> and “married to a prostitute.”

-White families, like Mitt Romney’s, <a href="https://www.salon.com/2014/01/07/white_supremacy_wins_again_melissa_harris_perry_and_the_racial_false_equivalence/">can’t properly raise black children</a>.

-Linear time is a product of a Euro-centric world, or in short, <a href="https://www.thecollegefix.com/rutgers-professor-even-the-concept-of-time-is-racist/">our concept of time is racist.</a>

-A founding principle of our nation is that black people are inhuman, therefore <a href="https://www.salon.com/2015/04/29/black_americas_baltimore_schism_why_the_freddie_gray_tragedy_demands_serious_soul_searching/">riots are really just resistance </a>against an unjust system.

-BREXIT was the result of <a href="https://www.campusreform.org/?ID=7760">white nationalism.</a>

-And obesity in the black community is <a href="https://www.campusreform.org/?ID=13866">caused by racism</a>.

Cooper has publicly attacked conservatives on multiple occasions, most recently during a Livestream commentary on the DNC. Before launching into a tirade accusing Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas for “demolishing the civil rights movement,” Cooper explained <a href="https://www.campusreform.org/?ID=15668">why American exceptionalism is a myth</a>;

Cooper has attributed most of the deaths from the pandemic to racism and conservatives, stating that, “I feel like most Black people are clear that this utterly absurd push to re-open the country is all about a gross necropolitical calculation that it is Black people who are dying disproportionately from COVID,” and <a href="https://www.thecollegefix.com/rutgers-university-prof-reopening-the-country-is-about-killing-black-people/">blaming Trump supporters for the hundreds of thousands of deaths</a> due to the coronavirus.

Cooper has previously stated that a conservative’s beliefs are “rooted in racism.” In an appearance on MSNBC, <a href="https://www.newsbusters.org/blogs/nb/duncan-schroeder/2020/08/30/deranged-msnbc-pundit-goes-hateful-rant-against-trump-voters">Cooper stated that conservatives have a desire for power</a> at the expense of black and brown Americans.

Cooper has denigrated conservatives throughout her career along racial lines. <a href="https://www.c-span.org/video/?444245-2/eloquent-rage&amp;playEvent">During a speech in Baltimore</a>, she stated that as white men lose their power, they will continue to “terrorize” black men and women. In a previous thread, she stated that the black community is being eaten alive by “capitalism, patriarchy, and racism,” and white people won’t feel any negative consequences of these systems so long as they can continue to displace white people through systems like gentrification.

Assistant Professor of Teacher Education <a href="https://www.csulb.edu/teacher-education/page/noah-asher-golden">Noah Golden</a>, California State University &#8211; Long Beach, argued that computer software helps perpetuate “systems of privilege and oppression” against minority children.

<a href="http://www.cla.csulb.edu/departments/journalism/people/faculty/chris-knap/">Christopher Knap</a>, a Communications Professor at CSULB, assigned a homework assignment which mocked Trump as sexist and homophobic. The assignment involved an employee named "Ronald Plump" that harassed women and used homophobic slurs.

<a href="https://www.csulb.edu/office-of-the-president/president/about">Dr. Jane Close Conoley</a>, is the current President of California State University - Long Beach. In an op-ed from 2014, Conoley stated that if you are “light-skinned” you have “significant unearned privilege.” Moreover, these privileged individuals show distrust and “lower expectations of behavior” of those with another skin color.

Michael Park is an instructor at California State University-Long Beach. He used a media law class to disparage Tea Partiers and conservatives as being birthers. In an assignment, he implied that opposition to President Obama is based on a belief that he is not a "true American". This is similar to a class taught by Christopher Knap, a fellow CSULB professor that assigned a homework assignment implying Trump is homophobic/sexist.

Who gets credit for doing and developing mathematics, who is capable in mathematics, and who is seen as part of the mathematical community is generally viewed as White,” Gutierrez argued.

Leyva</a>, Vanderbilt University, complained in an academic journal article that the field of mathematics is a “white and heteronormatively masculinized space.” Citing the “masculinization of mathematics,” Leyva then suggests that the apparent “gender gap” in mathematical ability is socially constructed (as opposed to arising from inherently different cognitive abilities) and therefore a “myth of male superiority.”

Not only is science rooted in racism, she alleges; it has been used to perpetuate racism and colonial practices.

<a href="https://english.ucdavis.edu/people/jclover">Joshua Clover</a> is a Professor of English at the University of California, Davis. According to his university biography, Clover specializes in “critical theory, Marxism, political theory, political economy, poetry, and poetics.”

Clover was widely<a href="https://sacramento.cbslocal.com/2019/02/26/uc-davis-professor-joshua-clover-cops-killed/"> condemned</a> after past tweets and statements in a 2015 article with<a href="https://archives.sfweekly.com/exhibitionist/2015/09/17/the-write-stuff-joshua-clover-on-wearing-intense-knowledge-lightly-and-changing-quickly"> San Francisco Weekly</a> advocating for the murder of police officers were uncovered. His statements include:

In a blog post, he claimed that Christians and conservatives have lost, and the primary question now is “How to deal with the losers.”

<a href="https://ghsm.hms.harvard.edu/faculty-staff/michelle-evelyn-morse">Michelle Evelyn Morse</a>, M.D. is a Instructor of Medicine and an Affiliate in the Department of Global Health and Social Medicine at Harvard University.  She is also co-founder of the <a href="http://www.socialmedicineconsortium.org/campaign-against-racism/">Campaign Against Racism</a>, which describes itself as an organization that seeks to “dismantle structural racism and its effects on health around the world.”

In an interview with <a href="https://www.pri.org/stories/2020-06-02/health-care-part-systems-oppression-says-harvard-medicine-professor">The World</a>, Morse outlined what she believes is structural oppression in the healthcare field. She explained how the Coronavirus is exposing divides caused by racism:

“And I think what we're seeing with the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on communities of color is that these are the fault lines that have existed for generations. And the sources are the very social arrangement that puts white people on top and black and brown people on the bottom.” 

 Morse has admitted that the long-term goal of her organization is to destroy capitalism, saying, “...the systems of racial capitalism and structural racism that we're trying to impact and upend and break down are going to take much, much longer” 

Morse is also very candid about utilizing the coronavirus pandemic to accomplish her organization’s ambitions of fundamentally transforming the country: 

“We have to seize on this moment. We have to make sure that health workers are not just assumed to be the heroes of COVID-19, that we actually do the work of upending the sources of oppression that have led to these inequities and that we recognize that that takes time and that that takes constant pressure.”

<a href="https://hds.harvard.edu/people/cornel-r-west">Dr. Cornel West</a> is a Professor of the Practice of Public Philosophy at Harvard University and a Professor Emeritus at Princeton University. West is also a member of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) and has used the organization’s platform to <a href="https://www.dsausa.org/democratic-left/cornel_west_endorses_bernie_sanders/">endorse</a> Bernie Sanders for president.  

West is known for his vocal opposition to Donald Trump, <a href="https://www.campusreform.org/?ID=14389">describing</a> him at a rally for Bernie Sanders as a “neo-fascist gangster.”

West is also notable for his mistrust of the official narrative of 9/11. As <a href="https://www.campusreform.org/?ID=5054">reported</a> by Campus Reform, he relayed his suspicion when asked if 9/11 was an inside-job during the Million Muslim March in Washington D.C. “At this point, I’m still uncertain. I think there might be a possibility but my hunch is that with Bin Laden’s definitive investment, he must have had something to do with it,” explained West.

Among West’s other peculiar beliefs, he is an avowed socialist that has served as an honorary chair for the DSA. In an <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4zYAH-BZZTs">interview</a> with Laura Flanders, he praised Karl Marx has having an “indispensable” analysis of America, declaring that American capitalism forces people to live in “wage slavery.” When <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kuc6C2_Txmw">challenged</a> by Tucker Carlson for his support of Socialism, most notably for its repeated and abysmal failures, West deflected and accused the US of interfering in the preventing the implementation of authentic socialism in places like Venezuela.

Perhaps the most disturbing example of Dr. West’s radical beliefs in his sustained relationship and defense of notorious Nation of Islam (NOI) leader, Louis Farrakhan. 

Farrakhan is noted for his virulent and antisemitic remarks praise of Adolf Hitler made during NOI sermons:

Despite a bevy of disgusting remarks, Dr. West continues to collaborate with and defend Farrakhan. He most recently <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QfC-z80GCSk">appeared</a> with him at an event in Chicago, hosted by PBS, to discuss issues in the black community. Numerous other academics and community leaders were present. His association with Farrakhan goes back decades, as is exhibited in a lecture given at Harvard University where he <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2KwhXPXjjMw">flouted</a> his agreement with him that white supremacy is ingrained in America. In another lecture,  Dr. West openly <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6qmuSqlvWE4">admitted</a> that he works with Farrakhan. 

When <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pZwhYShH-pE">pressed</a> by Roland Marted about his relationship with Farrakhan, West refused to disavow him. West responded that “people need to stop lying about my brother,” and denied that Farrakhan had ever made anti-Semitic remarks. West went on to praise Farrakhan for his “consistency” on white supremacy.   

Dr. West has also openly embraced ANTIFA. <a href="https://www.democracynow.org/2020/6/1/cornel_west_us_moment_of_reckoning">Appearing</a> on Democracy Now!, Dr. West claimed that ANTIFA “saved his life” when protesting in Charlottesville and lambasted the Trump administration's decision to label ANTIFA a terrorist organization:

“...ANTIFA saved my life in Charlottesville. There’s no doubt about it, that they provided the security, you see. So the very notion that they become candidates for a terrorist organization, but the people who were trying to kill us — the Nazis, the Klan — they’re not candidates for terrorist organization status — but that’s what you’re going to get. You’re going to get a Trump-led neofascist backlash and clampdown on what is going on. We ought to be very clear about that. The neofascism has that kind of obsession with militaristic imposition in the face of any kind of disorder. And so we’ve got to be fortified for that.”

Cornel West is a vocal critic of Israel. In 2014 - though aware that terrorist group Hamas was launching thousands of rockets into Israeli civilians areas - he nonetheless <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AvFVnRfpj7w&amp;feature=youtu.be&amp;t=281">accused</a> Israel of state-sponsored terrorism and urged “resistance” on behalf of the Palestinians.

<a href="https://hls.harvard.edu/faculty/directory/10048/Bartholet">Elizabeth Bartholet</a> is the Morris Wasserstein Public Interest Professor of Law and Faculty Director of the Child Advocacy Program at Harvard University. Bartholet’s work is primarily centered around child welfare. She <a href="https://bartholet.wpengine.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/children.pdf">believes</a> that “poverty and social justice are the root causes of most child maltreatment” and that early childhood intervention by social services is needed to prevent abuse. 

Bartholet is a vocal and visceral opponent of home-schooling, describing it as “near-absolute parental power” and “inconsistent” with the human rights of children. In a <a href="https://arizonalawreview.org/pdf/62-1/62arizlrev1.pdf">paper written for the Arizona Law Review</a>, she advocates for an outright ban on homeschooling. Bartholet sees homeschooling as a danger to society, and accuses parents who decide to remove their children from public schools of promoting segregation and misogyny:  

“...parents can now keep their children at home in the name of homeschooling free from any real scrutiny as to whether or how they are educating their children. Many homeschool because they want to isolate their children from ideas and values central to our democracy, determined to keep their children from exposure to views that might enable autonomous choice about their future lives. Many promote racial segregation and female subservience. Many question science. Abusive parents can keep their children at home free from the risk that teachers will report them to child protection services. Some homeschool precisely for this reason.”

Bartholet repeats and expands on her position, claiming that homeschooling may lead to child abuse: 

“Parents can choose to teach that biblical truth trumps all, that all science is false science, that women should be educated to be subservient to men, that people of color are inferior to whites, that people with nontraditional sexual orientations or gender identities should be “cured” or condemned. Parents can choose to put their children to work, notwithstanding child labor laws. Parents can choose to beat their children, starve them, or chain them up…”

Bartholet then critiques the inability to enact any legislation due to the “outdated nature of the Constitution, 

“The U.S. Constitution with its negative rights structure is an anomaly, outdated and inadequate by the standards of the rest of the world Negative rights— rights to be free from state intervention—are particularly inadequate for children...The U.S. Constitution’s focus on negative rights represents an older western constitutional tradition, “increasingly out of step with emerging constitutional norms…”

Bartholet’s hostility towards homeschooling appears to stem from the fact that a disproportionate amount of these parents are conservative Christians and not progressives: 

“It is the religious ideologues who dominate the homeschooling movement...Nor is there any other significant advocacy organization designed to represent the views of the highly educated nonreligious homeschoolers, the descendants of the John Holt progressive wing of the homeschooling movement.”

Bartholet had been slated to <a href="https://www.campusreform.org/?ID=14850">appear</a> at a Harvard-sponsored summit that was described as an “anti-homeschooling conference.” Titled “<a href="https://cap.law.harvard.edu/homeschooling-summit-june-18-19-2020/">Homeschooling Summit: Problems, Politics, and Prospects for Reform</a>,” it has since been postponed after receiving fierce backlash.

While he is supposed to make sure his school is opened to all students, he ostracized Trump supporters by blasting Trump in a school-wide e-mail. In a self-congratulatory e-mail, Schall applauded himself for coming out in support of strict gun control measures as well as speaking out against Trump. He wrote, “I still find it difficult this morning to believe that the majority of voters in our country chose to elect a man whose views on civility and inclusivity are so at odds with mine and with the values of our Oglethorpe community. This morning, I can manage to get past his inexperience and lack of public service even though virtually every editorial page in the country, left or right-leaning, failed to endorse him because of those traits. What I cannot get past, and I will refuse to overlook, is a future of America that is divided by race, religion, sexual identity, and country of origin.” He <a href="https://source.oglethorpe.edu/2019/04/30/long-serving-oglethorpe-university-president-lawrence-m-schall-to-step-down-next-year/">stepped down</a> from his position in mid-2020.

According to her university biography, Rubel’s research is focused on equity in mathematics education and the use of real-world urban contexts in the teaching of mathematics.
Much of Rubel’s work is devoted to contending that white supremacy is embedded in many aspects of this country and everyday life &#8211; from the nation’s founding, to dislike of the WNBA.

Her tweet was not designed to be hyperbolic in any sense. Rubel believes that white supremacy is firmly ingrained in subjects like math, and regularly reinforced in the classroom. As the co-author of <a href="https://www.researchgate.net/publication/331982850_The_Soft_Bigotry_of_Low_Expectations_And_Its_Role_in_Maintaining_White_Supremacy_through_Mathematics_Education">The Soft Bigotry of Low Expectations</a>, Rubel posits that white people have developed a racial and structural advantage in education that is consistently maintained through the teaching of mathematics. She believes that concepts like suggesting America is a meritocracy, or the idea that individuals are rewarded for hard work are inherently racist towards black students. White supremacy is no more evident, she claims, than through the ideas of “meritocracy” and “color blindness”:
“&#8230;the rhetoric of meritocracy implies that success results from hard work or talent and is not a function of the myriad of institutional structures that mediate opportunities and distribute rewards according to race and social background.”    
“Colorblindness, or the avoidance of or denial of signifying students&#8217; races in curriculum, classrooms, and schools, ignores the causes and impact of enduring racial stratification.”  
Rubel’s central thesis is that both “tools of whiteness” and subjects like math effectively disenfranchise students of color. Her argument is that racial disparities in students&#8217; scores are not because of behavior, but due to systematic racism and society’s tendency to attribute poor performance to the former, and resultant refusal to latter, reinforces a system of oppression.
As if anticipating the forthcoming criticism, she alleges that critiques of her position are emblematic of racism itself. Rubel states that her critics are “blame shifting” and attempting to ignore blatant white supremacy,
“One way that white supremacists counter critiques of racism is through a tactic known as “blame-shifting.” This tactic is a self-defense maneuver in which the white supremacists defend themselves against the charge of racism by shifting that charge onto the critique itself.” 
Commenting on Twitter, she claimed that she was a victim of “white-nationalists” criticizing her views.

<a href="http://www.brooklyn.cuny.edu/web/academics/faculty/faculty_profile.jsp?faculty=441">Laurie Rubel</a> is a professor of Secondary Education at Brooklyn College in New York. According to her university biography, Rubel’s research is focused on equity in mathematics education and the use of real-world urban contexts in the teaching of mathematics.

Much of Rubel’s work is devoted to contending that white supremacy is embedded in many aspects of this country and everyday life - from the nation’s founding, to dislike of the WNBA.

Rubel’s views drew <a href="https://www.campusreform.org/?ID=15409">wide-spread attention</a> after she suggested in a <a href="https://twitter.com/Laurie_Rubel/status/1290554158421073920">tweet</a> that teaching that math “reeks” of white supremacy.

Her tweet was not designed to be hyperbolic in any sense. Rubel believes that white supremacy is firmly ingrained in subjects like math, and regularly reinforced in the classroom. As the co-author of <a href="https://www.researchgate.net/publication/331982850_The_Soft_Bigotry_of_Low_Expectations_And_Its_Role_in_Maintaining_White_Supremacy_through_Mathematics_Education">The Soft Bigotry of Low Expectations</a>, Rubel posits that white people have developed a racial and structural advantage in education that is consistently maintained through the teaching of mathematics. She believes that concepts like suggesting America is a meritocracy, or the idea that individuals are rewarded for hard work are inherently racist towards black students. White supremacy is no more evident, she claims, than through the ideas of “meritocracy” and “color blindness”:

“...the rhetoric of meritocracy implies that success results from hard work or talent and is not a function of the myriad of institutional structures that mediate opportunities and distribute rewards according to race and social background.”    

“Colorblindness, or the avoidance of or denial of signifying students' races in curriculum, classrooms, and schools, ignores the causes and impact of enduring racial stratification.”  

Rubel’s central thesis is that both “tools of whiteness” and subjects like math effectively disenfranchise students of color. Her argument is that racial disparities in students' scores are not because of behavior, but due to systematic racism and society’s tendency to attribute poor performance to the former, and resultant refusal to latter, reinforces a system of oppression.

As if anticipating the forthcoming criticism, she alleges that critiques of her position are emblematic of racism itself. Rubel states that her critics are “blame shifting” and attempting to ignore blatant white supremacy,

“One way that white supremacists counter critiques of racism is through a tactic known as “blame-shifting.” This tactic is a self-defense maneuver in which the white supremacists defend themselves against the charge of racism by shifting that charge onto the critique itself.” 

Commenting on Twitter, she claimed that she was a victim of “white-nationalists” criticizing her views.

The scandalous tweet reads “I’m not wishing for it… but I’d be ok if #BetsyDevos was sexually assaulted”. After the negative backlash, Ranco tweeted what we could call an excuse; but no apology. The firm&#8217;s founder, Craig Carlson, as well as a spokesman for ACC, spoke out against his actions stating that his views are not reflective of theirs. He is currently still employed by ACC.

The <a href="https://www.bu.edu/antiracism-center/research/">stated mission</a> of the Center of Antiracism at Boston University is to research racial inequity and propose more policies similar to the establishment of the Department of Antiracism. The Center recently <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/tech/twitter-jack-dorsey-donates-10m-kendi-antiracist">attracted attention</a> after a $10,000,000 donation was made by Twitter Founder and CEO, Jack Dorsey.
Kendi has also expressed his opposition to interracial families, stating that adopting a child from a separate race doesn’t make you “not racist.”  During the 2020 Supreme Court nomination of Amy Coney Barrett, who has adopted two children from Haiti with her husband, Kendi insinuated that white families like the Barretts only adopt black children in a racist attempt to “civilize them.”

The <a href="https://www.bu.edu/antiracism-center/research/">stated mission</a> of the Center of Antiracism at Boston University is to research racial inequity and propose more policies similar to the establishment of the Department of Antiracism. The Center recently <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/tech/twitter-jack-dorsey-donates-10m-kendi-antiracist">attracted attention</a> after a $10,000,000 donation was made by Twitter Founder and CEO, Jack Dorsey.

Kendi has also expressed his opposition to interracial families, stating that adopting a child from a separate race doesn’t make you “not racist.”  During the 2020 Supreme Court nomination of Amy Coney Barrett, who has adopted two children from Haiti with her husband, Kendi insinuated that white families like the Barretts only adopt black children in a racist attempt to “civilize them.”

Dr. Kaploun is on the list for abusing his academic freedom by making final exams worth 50% of the grade and mistreating his students. One student said he is &#8220;extremely rude and calls the entire class stupid. If you ask a question he will scream at you and humiliate you. [He] makes people stand at the front of the class if they don&#8217;t get something and embarrasses them.&#8221; Another student said that not only did he fail almost 70% of the class but he also &#8220;forced you to ask a question, but then bit your head off if you did ask him a question. There were forty people in my class at the beginning, but now only five people come to class.&#8221;
