After someone pointed out to Staebler that Trump opposed the ethics change, and thus agreed with Staebler, he shifted the discussion to calling Trump supporters bigots.

Dr. Cumings placed most of the blame of North Korea’s problems on the United States, while also whitewashing problems in Korea.  For example, Cumings denies the existence of a massive famine in North Korea in the 1990s. Cumings blames the United States for North Korea’s problems, not Communism.

<a href="https://billayers.org/biographyhistory/">Dr. William Ayers</a> is a <a href="https://creativewriting.uchicago.edu/people/william-ayers">member</a> of the Visiting Faculty and Lecturers at the University of Chicago and is formerly a Distinguished Professor of Education at the University of Illinois-Chicago. Ayers was the leader of the “Weather Underground” group responsible for setting off bombs that destroyed government property and infrastructure. Of his group, he said, "We are a guerrilla organization. We are communist women and men ... deeply affected by the historic events of our time in the struggle against U.S. imperialism."

Ann Blankenship-Knox is an Associate Professor at the University of the Redlands, who revealed the techniques she uses to push a social agenda and &#8220;decenter whiteness&#8221; in the classroom. Dan Burfeind is Coordinator of Student Organizations Leadership Development &amp; Assessment at California State University - Monterey Bay and is formerly the Assistant Director of Student Activities at the University of Redlands. Burfeind refused to allow the Redlands Young Americans for Freedom’s (YAF) host a “Funeral for Halloween” activism initiative, citing the “emotional and psychological harm” it could allegedly cause students.

She says, “I hate Republicans. I can’t stand the thought of having to spend the next two years watching Mitch McConnell, John Boehner, Ted Cruz, Darrell Issa or any of the legions of other blowhards denying climate change, thwarting immigration reform or championing fetal ‘personhood.’”

<a href="http://fordschool.umich.edu/faculty/betsey-stevenson">Betsey Stevenson </a>is an associate professor of Economics at the University of Michigan. Stevenson made the list after making the claim that the lack of women found in Economics textbooks is the reason so few women pursue Economics as a major. In a study she conducted with Hanna Zlotnick, she found that 77% of people found in the leading Economics textbooks were male.

<a href="https://lsa.umich.edu/history/people/faculty/jrcole.html">Dr. Juan Cole</a> is a Professor of History at the University of Michigan. He believes right-wing Jews and an “Islamophobic network” were “a key influence” to the shooting that killed nine people at Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston, S.C. He has also argued that recognizing Israel as a state is racist.

<a href="https://lsa.umich.edu/stats/people/faculty/fink.html">Nadiya Fink</a> is a statistics lecturer at University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. After a conservative activist satirically changed his preferred pronoun to "His Majesty", Fink threatened to punish any student who mocked the preferred pronoun system.

Charles H.F. Davis is an Assistant Professor at the Center for the Study of Higher and Postsecondary Education at the University of Michigan. He previously taught at the University of Southern California. According to his university biography, Davis’s research and teaching focuses on, “race and racism, systems of oppression, and structures of domination in U.S. higher education and its social contexts.”

Davis previously rose to notoriety in 2017 for a series of <a href="https://twitter.com/hfdavis?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Eauthor">racially inflammatory tweets</a>. As reported by <a href="https://www.thecollegefix.com/usc-professor-defends-tweet-promoting-violence-whiteness/">The College Fix</a>, he tweeted that “whiteness” must be destroyed and alluded to the necessity of violence in confronting it.

“White supremacist capitalist patriarchy must be destroyed” Davis tweeted on May 5, 2017.

The background photo of his twitter account at the time featured a black woman pointing a gun at a pig that clearly represents a caricature of a police officer. 

When contacted over his remarks, Davis responded, “To be clear, I am decidedly against whiteness as a social and political ideology, which systematically marginalize and disenfranchise people of color from opportunities for societal advancement. In addition, I am against the institution of policing, which has historically and continuously enacted racial terror, sexual violence, and economic exploitation against racial minorities, women and LGBTQ communities, and economically disadvantaged working-class people.”

When asked if any of these tweets might make students uncomfortable, Davis <a href="http://hfdavis.com/blog/an-interview-with-a-conservative">responded</a> that any discomfort experienced by his white students is a result of their “white fragility.” 

Davis had previously advocated for the right of students to disrupt conservative speakers on campus. In the wake of <a href="https://badgerherald.com/news/2016/11/17/conservative-pundit-ben-shapiro-lectures-to-turbulent-crowd-on-safe-spaces-freedom-of-speech/">protesters heckling</a> Ben Shapiro’s lecture at the University of Wisconsin Madison, school regents approved a <a href="https://www.chicagotribune.com/nation-world/ct-university-of-wisconsin-protest-punishment-20171006-story.html">policy</a> to suspend or expel students that purposefully disrupt events. Davis’s subsequent <a href="https://www.chicagotribune.com/nation-world/ct-university-of-wisconsin-protest-punishment-20171006-story.html">op-ed</a> at Inside Higher Ed argued that this only reinforced white supremacy: “To be clear, it is a decision that reinforces institutionalized white supremacy -- and other oppressive forms of systemic power.”

Despite being Jewish, Davis argues that conservative speakers like Shapiro have hijacked the First Amendment to push “white supremacist agendas.”  

Davis’s website, which is listed by the University of Michigan on his biography, <a href="https://static1.squarespace.com/static/51ab9fa0e4b06a38e604420a/t/5edaf71d1ab0434751b2e960/1591408468354/HF+Davis+%E2%80%93%C2%A0EPK.pdf">advertises </a>that he has taught the issues of “ race, racism, and systemic oppression in education and society” to over “7,000 students, educators and institutional leaders.” The <a href="http://hfdavis.com/">home page</a> of the site also features links to organizations that advocate for the Black Lives Matter movement, abolishing the police, and boycotting the nation of Israel.

Dr. Meranto taught that America is a racist country where “being white has its privilege.” She also taught that, capitalism, Christianization, and civilization cause America to remain racist and sexist. <a href="https://webapp.msudenver.edu/directory/profile.php?uName=ahallam2">Dr. Andrew Kent Hallam</a> is a professor of Urban Engagement Metropolitan State University of Denver. He allegedly harassed and bullied Republican students, then forced the class to write an essay criticizing 2008 Republican Vice Presidential candidate, Sarah Palin.

Dr. Charles Angeletti was previously a tenured professor at Metropolitan State University Denver and an admitted socialist. He required students to recite a pledge that describes a racist, sexist, homophobic America. “I pledge allegiance to and wrap myself in the flag of the United States Against Anything Un-American and to the Republicans for which it stands, two nations, under Jesus, rich against poor, with curtailed liberty and justice for all except blacks, homosexuals, women who want abortions, Communists, welfare queens, treehuggers, feminazis, illegal immigrants, children of illegal immigrants, and you if you don't watch your step.” He resigned from the University in 2017.

Dr. Oneida Meranto is currently an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Metropolitan State University, Denver. Turning Point USA is standing up to the Chinese Communist Party. Through our China on Campus initiative, Turning Point USA is highlighting the infiltration of our educational institutions and halting the Chinese government in its tracks. <a href="https://www.wm.edu/sites/dhp/faculty/ciccariello-maher-george.php">Dr. George Ciccariello-Maher</a> is a Visiting Scholar of Decolonizing Humanities and Modern Languages and Literatures at the College of William and Mary. He previously taught in the Department of History and Politics at Drexel University.

From the College of William and Mary's website, his work at the Decolonizing Humanities Project is <a href="https://www.wm.edu/sites/dhp/decoloniality/index.php">described</a> as exploring, “how colonization, modernity, capitalism, and, most recently, neoliberalism has displaced an array of modes of living, thinking and being.  Decoloniality reveals “the dark side of modernity” and how it is built “on the backs” of “others.”

Ciccarello first came to notoriety for his racially inflammatory statements on twitter. On Christmas of 2016, he <a href="https://www.inquirer.com/philly/news/Drexel-officials-Professor-George-Ciccariello-Mahers-White-Genocide-tweet-was-utterly-reprehensible.html">tweeted</a> out,

“All I want for Christmas is White Genocide,”

and,

“To clarify: when the whites were massacred during the Haitian Revolution, that was a  good thing indeed.”

He also tweeted out,

“Some guy gave up his first-class seat for a uniformed soldier. People are thanking him. I’m trying not to vomit or yell about Mosul.”

When Ciccariello was confronted by <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ndkvgmGIQHQ">Tucker Carlson</a> over his tweets, he only proceeded to double-down. In the following exchange, he defended the academic veracity of his tweets by claiming, “performance art is scholarship.”

Ciccariello doesn’t shy away from utilizing violence to accomplish his radical beliefs. In an op-ed for <a href="https://www.salon.com/2015/05/04/riots_work_wolf_blitzer_and_the_washington_post_completely_missed_the_real_lesson_from_baltimore/">Salon</a>, he praised the riots that had engulfed Baltimore in 2015 in an article titled “Riots Work.” He wrote, “without the threat of insurgency in the streets, no charges would ever have been brought in the murder of Freddie Gray.” Obviously not a proponent of police, Ciccariello openly <a href="https://www.salon.com/2015/04/24/we_must_disband_the_police_body_cameras_arent_enough_only_radical_change_will_stop_cops_who_kill/">advocates</a> for the abolishment of police forces, describing them as, “originally slavecatchers.”

When not calling for the disbandment of our law enforcement, Ciccariello is an ardent defender of the socialist regime in Venezuela. He regularly <a href="https://www.counterpunch.org/2013/04/12/thatcher-is-dead-long-live-chavez/">praises</a> Hugo Chavez and has bizarrely <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nhYz1owM-uA&amp;feature=youtu.be">claimed</a> that Venezuela does not have corrupt elections.

Ciccariello doesn’t shy away from violent groups as well. In order to fight white-nationalism, Ciccarello called on Americans to embrace the radical group ANTIFA in an interview with <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WTv_hqjrmi8&amp;feature=youtu.be">Democracy Now</a> following the El Paso mass shooting. Although committed by a stated white nationalist, in the same interview Ciccariello placed the blame on Donald Trump for the deaths, claiming that his rhetoric on immigrants inspired the shooter’s rampage.  Ciccariello made similar accusations in a prior <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WTv_hqjrmi8&amp;feature=youtu.be">interview</a> about the Texas Church Massacre, alluding that “whiteness” and Trump’s stoking of white victimhood was to blame for the murders.

This study states that “white male privilege pervades the discipline of physics as well as the classrooms in which physics is taught and learned.” as well as stating that “Physics strongly values male-socialized traits such as independence, competition, and individual victories.” Overall their goal is to &#8220;disrupt privilege&#8221; by dismissing these traits saying we need to be willing to open up the space of what counts as physics.&#8221;

<a href="https://www.sociology.northwestern.edu/people/faculty/core/laura-beth-nielsen.html">Dr. Laura Beth Nielsen</a> is a Professor of Sociology at Northwestern University. She wrote in an op-ed that there are good arguments for restricting free speech rights. She said that racist hate speech has been linked to higher rates of smoking and obesity, for example. Supporting her argument for restricting speech, she pointed out that recently the Supreme Court ruled that a music group (&#8220;The Slants&#8221;, a band made up of Asian-Americans) was allowed to use a derogatory name as their band name, although she did not point out the band was using the name to mock people who use the name in a derogatory fashion.

<a href="https://www.mccormick.northwestern.edu/research-faculty/directory/profiles/butz-arthur.html">Dr. Arthur Butz</a> is a tenured engineering professor at Northwestern University and a well-known Holocaust denier.  He wrote a book called "The Hoax of the Twentieth Century" where he claims the Holocaust is a hoax. The book claims, "not only that they [the Jews] were not virtually wiped out, but what's more, that no evidence exists to date to confirm that there was ever any Hitler attempt to do so". He also publicly supported then-Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad for calling the Holocaust a myth.

<a href="https://www.sociology.northwestern.edu/people/faculty/core/laura-beth-nielsen.html">Dr. Laura Beth Nielsen</a> is a Professor of Sociology at Northwestern University. She wrote in an op-ed that there are good arguments for restricting free speech rights. She said that racist hate speech has been linked to higher rates of smoking and obesity, for example. Supporting her argument for restricting speech, she pointed out that recently the Supreme Court ruled that a music group ("The Slants", a band made up of Asian-Americans) was allowed to use a derogatory name as their band name, although she did not point out the band was using the name to mock people who use the name in a derogatory fashion.

Thrasher was previously the subject of controversy after his <a href="https://legalinsurrection.com/2019/05/nyu-graduation-speaker-calls-trump-a-fascist-praises-anti-israel-bds-movement/">commencement speech</a> at New York University, in which he called President Trump a Fascist and praised the BDS movement against Israel. During a<a href="https://www.c-span.org/video/?445812-1/aurea-foundation-hosts-munk-debate-political-correctness"> debate</a> on political correctness in 2018 with Professor Jordan Peterson, Dyson repeatedly referred to Peterson as just a “mean, mad, old, white, man.” 

Just prior to Independence Day 2019, Dyson appeared on<a href="https://www.mediaite.com/politics/michael-eric-dyson-on-betsy-ross-flag-symbolism-why-dont-we-wear-a-swastika-for-july-fourth/"> MSNBC </a>and compared the iconic Betsy Ross Flag to a Nazi Swastika,

“Well, it hails from the Revolutionary period, of course, of this nation’s founding, which was deeply embroiled in, you know, enslavement, of the owners of slaves…..Right-wing white supremacists have used it as a rallying cry for their own cause.” 

Dyson continued,

“Words matter, symbols matter too. Why don’t we wear a swastika for July Fourth? Because I don’t know, it makes a difference.”

Dyson is also associated with the notorious anti-Semite and Nation of Islam leader, Louis Farrakhan. <a href="https://education.utexas.edu/faculty/jennifer_adair">Dr. Jennifer Adair</a> is an Associate Professor at the University of Texas, Austin. Dr. Adair proposed indoctrinating children as young as kindergarten in racial issues, in order to ‘prevent another Ferguson.' One proposed project involved having the students make protest signs about racial injustice or other art projects about school integration or bus boycotts. Adair and the other professors working with her drew heavily from the philosophy of radical historian Howard Zinn in their effort.

<a href="http://liberalarts.utexas.edu/history/faculty/profile.php?id=jn324">Dr. Joan Neuberger</a>, a professor at University of Texas-Austin led anti-campus carry efforts, including a petition to bar students who conceal carry from entering classrooms, in violation of Texas law. A change.org petition organized by the same group said, “WE OPPOSE GUNS IN OUR CLASSROOMS AS A DIRECT ASSAULT ON OUR FREE SPEECH RIGHTS.” Despite her proclamations about the dangers of guns, Neuberger is not actually a statistician or criminal justice professor, but a Russian history professor.

In an essay on a social justice website, Jensen argued that rape is part of the larger violent, patriarchy. He told Campus Reform that, “I don’t believe there will be any serious progress toward eliminating men’s violence against women if we do not address the toxic notions about masculinity in patriarchy—masculinity understood as rooted in control, conquest, aggression.” Jensen also attacked a major anti-sexual assault group for blaming the perpetrators for rape, instead of focusing on the patriarchal culture as the main cause.

While teaching at the University of California, Berkeley, Shingavi co-founded the anti-Israel group <a href="https://canarymission.org/organization/sjp">Students for Justice in Palestine</a> (SJP) with Professor Hatem Bazian.  SJP is known for its vitriolic campaigns and aggressively confronting Jewish and pro-Israel students on campus. They are also known for their active role in Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) campaigns on university campuses.

 Snehal first generated controversy at UC Berkeley in 2002 for his <a href="https://www.meforum.org/campus-watch/7789/hardball-interview-with-snehal-shingavi">course</a>, "The Politics and Poetics of Palestinian Resistance." The course description alleged that Israel has “systematically displaced, killed and maimed millions of Palestinian people.” 

The course also all, but outright barred conservative students from attending: “This class takes as its starting point the right of Palestinians to fight for their own self-determination. Conservative thinkers are encouraged to seek other sections.”

Now teaching at UT Austin, <a href="https://canarymission.org/professor/Snehal_Shingavi">Shehal</a> is a regular at protests and events committed to demonizing Israel. During a 2014 lecture, he <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rAGtcdPL244&amp;feature=youtu.be&amp;t=13m15s">likened</a> Israel to Nazi Germany, claiming, “This is not me being hyperbolic…..Gaza is the biggest open air concentration camp in the world today and the condition of life in Gaza is not dissimilar to life in Auschwitz and Dachau.”
