Margaux L. Kristjansson
Williams College
Margaux L. Kristjansson is a Mellon Postdoctoral Fellow in Native American Studies at Williams College. Employed by the American Studies department and a Standing Rock activist, her courses include Indigenous Feminisms and Settler Colonialism, Care, Kinship, and Social Reproduction.
While the campus was visited by TPUSA representative Savannah Coelho to engage in civil discussion and distribute activism materials, Kristjansson burned many of Coelho’s flyers that she handed out nearby. In a response to The Williams Record, Kristjansson justified her actions, alleging that TPUSA adopts “fascist politics.”
