<a href="http://fordschool.umich.edu/faculty/betsey-stevenson">Betsey Stevenson </a>is an associate professor of Economics at the University of Michigan. Stevenson made the list after making the claim that the lack of women found in Economics textbooks is the reason so few women pursue Economics as a major. In a study she conducted with Hanna Zlotnick, she found that 77% of people found in the leading Economics textbooks were male.

<a href="http://fordschool.umich.edu/faculty/betsey-stevenson">Betsey Stevenson </a>is an associate professor of Economics at the University of Michigan. Stevenson made the list after making the claim that the lack of women found in Economics textbooks is the reason so few women pursue Economics as a major. <a href="https://lsa.umich.edu/history/people/faculty/jrcole.html">Dr. Juan Cole</a> is a Professor of History at the University of Michigan. He believes right-wing Jews and an “Islamophobic network” were “a key influence” to the shooting that killed nine people at Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston, S.C. He has also argued that recognizing Israel as a state is racist.

<a href="https://lsa.umich.edu/stats/people/faculty/fink.html">Nadiya Fink</a> is a statistics lecturer at University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. After a conservative activist satirically changed his preferred pronoun to "His Majesty", Fink threatened to punish any student who mocked the preferred pronoun system.

<a href="https://lsa.umich.edu/comm/people/regular-faculty/sdoug.html">Dr. Susan Douglas</a>, a professor at University of Michigan, publicized her hate for Republicans in an article from In These Times. She says, “I hate Republicans. I can’t stand the thought of having to spend the next two years watching Mitch McConnell, John Boehner, Ted Cruz, Darrell Issa or any of the legions of other blowhards denying climate change, thwarting immigration reform or championing fetal ‘personhood.’”

Charles H.F. Davis is an Assistant Professor at the Center for the Study of Higher and Postsecondary Education at the University of Michigan. He previously taught at the University of Southern California. According to his university biography, Davis’s research and teaching focuses on, “race and racism, systems of oppression, and structures of domination in U.S. higher education and its social contexts.”

Davis previously rose to notoriety in 2017 for a series of <a href="https://twitter.com/hfdavis?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Eauthor">racially inflammatory tweets</a>. As reported by <a href="https://www.thecollegefix.com/usc-professor-defends-tweet-promoting-violence-whiteness/">The College Fix</a>, he tweeted that “whiteness” must be destroyed and alluded to the necessity of violence in confronting it.

The background photo of his Twitter account at the time featured a black woman pointing a gun at a pig that clearly represents a caricature of a police officer. 

When contacted <a href="https://www.thecollegefix.com/usc-professor-defends-tweet-promoting-violence-whiteness/">The College Fix</a> over his remarks, Davis responded, “To be clear, I am decidedly against whiteness as a social and political ideology, which systematically marginalize and disenfranchise people of color from opportunities for societal advancement. In addition, I am against the institution of policing, which has historically and continuously enacted racial terror, sexual violence, and economic exploitation against racial minorities, women and LGBTQ communities, and economically disadvantaged working-class people.”

When asked if any of these tweets might make students uncomfortable, Davis <a href="http://hfdavis.com/blog/an-interview-with-a-conservative">responded</a> that any discomfort experienced by his white students is a result of their “white fragility.” 

Davis had previously advocated for the right of students to disrupt conservative speakers on campus. In the wake of <a href="https://badgerherald.com/news/2016/11/17/conservative-pundit-ben-shapiro-lectures-to-turbulent-crowd-on-safe-spaces-freedom-of-speech/">protesters heckling</a> Ben Shapiro’s lecture at the University of Wisconsin Madison, school regents approved a <a href="https://www.chicagotribune.com/nation-world/ct-university-of-wisconsin-protest-punishment-20171006-story.html">policy</a> to suspend or expel students that purposefully disrupt events. Davis’s subsequent <a href="https://www.chicagotribune.com/nation-world/ct-university-of-wisconsin-protest-punishment-20171006-story.html">op-ed</a> at Inside Higher Ed argued that this only reinforced white supremacy: “To be clear, it is a decision that reinforces institutionalized white supremacy -- and other oppressive forms of systemic power.” Davis argues that conservative speakers like Shapiro have hijacked the First Amendment to push “white supremacist agendas.”  

Davis’s website, which is listed by the University of Michigan on his biography, <a href="https://static1.squarespace.com/static/51ab9fa0e4b06a38e604420a/t/5edaf71d1ab0434751b2e960/1591408468354/HF+Davis+%E2%80%93%C2%A0EPK.pdf">advertises </a>that he has taught the issues of “ race, racism, and systemic oppression in education and society” to over “7,000 students, educators and institutional leaders.” The <a href="http://hfdavis.com/">home page</a> of the site also features links to organizations that advocate for the Black Lives Matter movement, abolishing the police, and boycotting the nation of Israel.

<a href="https://lsa.umich.edu/ac/people/faculty/jchl.html">John Cheney-Lippold</a> is an Associate Professor at the University of Michigan whose work focuses on Internet Studies, Cultural Studies, and Algorithm Studies.

Lippold made<a href="https://www.campusreform.org/?ID=11317"> headlines</a> for his blatant discrimination against a pro-Israel student at Michigan. After agreeing to the initial request, he refused to write a letter of recommendation for her to study abroad in Israel due to his adherence to the academic boycott of the nation. In a now released email exchange, Lippold replied to the student’s request:

“As you may know, many university departments have pledged an academic boycott against Israel in support of Palestinians living in Palestine. This boycott includes writing letters of recommendations for students to study there.” 

In a<a href="https://nypost.com/2018/09/20/professor-draws-ire-after-declining-to-help-student-study-in-israel/"> statement</a> released by <a href="https://palestinelegal.org/">Palestine Legal</a>, he only proceeded to double-down and even compared Israel to Apartheid-era South Africa:

“I support the Palestinian boycott call because I am appalled at Israel’s continuing violation of Palestinian rights, and our government’s support for those violations...If a student had wanted to do a study abroad at an institution in Apartheid South Africa, I would have declined to write a letter for her as well.”

In early 2018, Begeal <a href="https://www.campusreform.org/?ID=10420">fired off</a> a series of tweets directed at those who participate in the pro-life march, March for Life, which takes place annually in Washington DC. Begeal <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/us/new-york-city-professor-tells-pro-life-marchers-to-sit-down-and-shut-up">accused</a> the pro-life marchers of not supporting a series of leftist agenda items and should therefore not be given a voice in the public square.

She endorsed another King tweet that ascribed the existence of police activity as a means of upholding white power, saying that she agreed with <a href="https://twitter.com/jlbhart/status/1346917407357501445">“All. Of. This.” </a>

<a href="https://socialwork.columbia.edu/faculty-research/faculty/adjunct/anthony-zenkus/">Anthony Zenkus</a> is an Adjunct Lecturer in the School of Social Work at Columbia University and has also taught at Adelphi University in the Graduate School of Social Work. His Columbia University bio <a href="https://socialwork.columbia.edu/faculty-research/faculty/adjunct/anthony-zenkus/">describes</a> Zenkus as an “activist” on issues of racial justice and income inequality and that he was trained by former Vice President Al Gore as a presenter in the Climate Reality Project.
In addition, the biography <a href="https://socialwork.columbia.edu/faculty-research/faculty/adjunct/anthony-zenkus/">describes</a> Zenkus as an organizer with the <a href="http://occupywallst.org/about/">Occupy Wall Street</a> movement and that Zenkus advocates for raising the national minimum wage to $15 an hour.  Zenkus’s Columbia biography also <a href="https://socialwork.columbia.edu/faculty-research/faculty/adjunct/anthony-zenkus/">states</a> that in addition to his work as an adjunct lecturer, his work involves the training of professionals on trauma, child abuse, and family violence.
Socialism

In another tweet, Zenkus <a href="https://twitter.com/anthonyzenkus/status/1317083235797565440?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1317083235797565440%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&amp;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.theblaze.com%2Fnews%2Fcolumbia-professor-american-flag-genocide">states</a> that the American flag is a symbol of genocide. Zenkus replies to a now-deleted tweet from another user that stated, &#8220;The hammer and sickle is a symbol of genocide. What are you gonna admire next, the swastika?”  In his retort, Zenkus claims that America has committed “centuries” of slavery and genocide.

Zenkus maintains that capitalist societies are physically harmful to children that grow up in poverty. In a talk called, <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZK1DVinPg98&amp;ab_channel=TEDxTalks">“Watch the Gap: How Capitalism Negatively Affects Development</a>,” given at a TEDx event, Zenkus claims that capitalism is the cause of massive inequality and widespread poverty in the country.
At the same event, Zenkus <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZK1DVinPg98&amp;ab_channel=TEDxTalks">attributes</a> everything from racism and brain damage in children to the inequality that he alleges is inherent in our society. In order to alleviate poverty, Zenkus calls for a “transformational distribution of wealth.”

<a href="https://journalism.columbia.edu/faculty/dale-maharidge">Dale Maharidge</a> is a Journalism Professor at Columbia University who ironically does not take well to criticism. After finding out he was under investigation on Project Veritas' "To Catch A Journalist" he reacted with a series of explicit and sophomoric rants on social media.

<a href="http://socialwork.columbia.edu/faculty/adjunct/kathy-boudin/">Dr. Kathy Boudin</a> teaches social work classes at Columbia University, despite having a lengthy criminal record. Boudin, a convicted murderer and a member of Bill Ayers' domestic terrorism group the Weather Underground, had no problem finding a job teaching at Columbia. According to The Daily Beast "In 1984, Boudin, a member of the Weather Underground, a violent, oafish association of upper-class “revolutionaries,” pled guilty to second-degree murder in association with the infamous 1981 Brinks armored car robbery in Nyack, New York. Babbling in the language of anti-racism and anti-imperialism, Boudin assisted in ending the life of three people, including Waverly Brown, the first black police officer on the Nyack police force, and left nine children fatherless. She was sentenced to 20 years to life in prison. In 2003, Boudin was released; by 2008 she had landed a coveted teaching position at an Ivy League university."

<a href="http://www.law.columbia.edu/faculty/kayum-ahmed">Professor Kayum Ahmed</a>, Columbia University Law School, filed a “discrimination and harassment complaint” against the College Republicans after they invited Tommy Robinson to speak on campus, arguing that the invitation itself was an “act of violence” against him.

<a href="https://www.northeastern.edu/law/faculty/directory/williams-p.html">Patricia Williams </a>is a Professor of Law and Humanities at Northeastern University. Williams, in an editorial for The Nation, wrote " the history of the right to bear arms is shaped by exclusionary privilege based on race and gender. It is almost exclusively white men who may “reasonably” carry firearms to protests outside Target or political conventions", although still 20% of Hispanic and African-American homes own guns according to Pew research.

<a href="https://history.columbia.edu/faculty/khalidi-rashid/">Dr. Rashid Khalidi</a>, a Professor of Modern Arab Studies at Columbia University, laced criticism of Trump's foreign policy with Anti-Semitism. Discussing Trump's position on Israel, Khalidi said "They have a vision whereby there is no such thing as the Palestinians. They have a vision whereby international law doesn’t exist. They have a vision whereby the United States can unilaterally cancel a decision of the United Nations. And unfortunately, these people infest the Trump transition team, these people are going to infest our government as of January 20th. And they are hand in glove with a similar group of people in the Israeli government and in Israeli political life who think that whatever they think can be imposed on reality."

<a href="https://palestine.mei.columbia.edu/people/hamid-dabashi">Hamid Dabashi</a> is the Hagop Kevorkian Professor of Iranian Studies and Comparative Literature at Columbia University. 

As a board member of the U.S. Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel, Dabashi is ferociously <a href="https://canarymission.org/professor/Hamid_Dabashi">anti-Israel</a>, going so far as <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2005/01/18/education/mideast-tensions-are-getting-personal-on-campus-at-columbia.html">cancelling classes</a> so that his students can attend anti-Israel rallies.

When Iranian dictator Mahmoud Ahmadinejad spoke at Columbia, Dabashi was one of his most vocal defenders against fellow professors. <a href="https://www.nysun.com/new-york/columbia-professor-calls-bollinger-white/">Writing</a> for an Egyptian newspaper, Dabashi accused Ahmadinejad’s critics of racism, claiming “the most ridiculous clichés of the neocon propaganda machinery, wrapped in the missionary position of a white racist supremacist carrying the heavy burden of civilizing the world.”

In 2018, Dabashi received criticism for a now-deleted <a href="https://www.campusreform.org/?ID=10484">Facebook post</a> in which he accused the Women’s March of being “deeply infiltrated” by “Zionists”, who want to hijack the organization to benefit Israel.

“The Woman’s (sic) March has now emerged as a major movement in the US and of course the Zionists have deeply infiltrated it the way they infiltrated the Civil rights Movement of the 1960s and sought to twist it to the advantage of Israel,”

<a href="https://polisci.columbia.edu/content/jeffrey-r-lax">Jeffery Lax</a> is a professor of Political Science at Columbia University. He also serves as Deputy Chair of Columbia's Political Science Department.

<a href="https://campusreform.org/?id=14870">In an online dispute</a> over the President of the United States, Lax publicly accosted a Columbia student online. After accusing the President of murdering Americans, Lax then attacked Gabriel Montalvo, a conservative, referring to him as “stupid” and “evil,” in posts provided by Montalvo on his <a href="https://twitter.com/Baron_Montalvo/status/1247164493748146178">twitter account</a>.

Further on, he referred to Montalvo, who is Hispanic, as a “neo-nazi” after telling him to “drop dead”. Lax called Montalvo a neo-Nazi multiple times in the exchange and even insinuated that he brandishes a swastika.

<a href="https://directory.columbia.edu/people/uni?code=jbc2167">James Comey</a>–the former FBI director best known for directing the Russia investigation against President Trump– is now a lecturer at Columbia University <a href="https://nypost.com/2020/12/02/ex-fbi-director-james-comey-to-teach-at-columbia-law-school/">for the Spring 2021 semester</a>. Comey’s course is titled “Lawyers and Leaders.”  The <a href="https://reuben-mark.law.columbia.edu/content/reuben-mark-initiative-announces-spring-2021-leaders-residence">university’s website</a> writes that Comey’s experiences as a federal prosecutor and FBI director “represents a broadening of the Mark Initiative’s focus to include leadership of major public institutions, complementing existing offerings relating to corporations and law firms.”

In 2016 under Comey’s leadership, the FBI opened an investigation to determine whether the Trump campaign had colluded with the Russian government to defeat his opposing  Presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton. It is important to note that Special Counsel Robert Muller <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/no-collusion-attorney-general-william-barr-emily-zanotti">later determined that there was no evidence against President Trump.</a>

Much of the underlying information that formed the basis of the investigation was provided by a former-British spy, Christopher Steele– known as the “Steele Dossier.” <a href="https://www.nationalreview.com/2020/09/steeles-dossier-source-was-a-suspected-russian-spy/">Steele relied on a series of rumors from a sole source that was later determined to be a suspected Russian spy</a>. Members of Comey’s own <a href="https://thehill.com/opinion/white-house/442944-fbis-steele-story-falls-apart-false-intel-and-media-contacts-were-flagged">FBI flagged the allegations in the dossier as false and were</a> ignored. This information was eventually used to obtain surveillance warrants for individuals involved with the Trump campaign. Despite being fired by the FBI for misconduct, <a href="https://thehill.com/hilltv/rising/400810-opinion-how-a-senior-justice-official-helped-dems-on-trump-russia-case">Steele was still used as a source–with Bruce Ohr serving as his conduit to ferry information to the Bureau</a>.

Once Trump assumed office, <a href="https://thefederalist.com/2020/05/11/why-did-obama-tell-the-fbi-to-hide-its-activities-from-the-trump-administration/">Comey withheld evidence from the Trump Administration</a> about his investigation. The FBI had briefed President Trump’s campaign regarding Russian interference into the election, but failed to disclose that members of the campaign were the subject of the investigation itself.

Comey played a pivotal role in the perjury trap that resulted in the firing and prosecution of General Michael Flynn. Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates testified that <a href="https://thefederalist.com/2020/08/05/sally-yates-comey-went-rogue-in-launching-perjury-trap-on-flynn/">Comey “went rogue” in his pursuit to prosecute Flynn</a>. Sources claim that the <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/politics/fbi-official-on-mueller-team-says-flynn-prosecution-was-used-to-get-trump-says-collusion-probe-was-not-there">FBI zealously pursued the investigation of Flynn in order to get him to flip and inform on any potential crimes committed by Trump.</a>

An Inspector General’s Report later <a href="https://thefederalist.com/2020/04/02/latest-inspector-general-report-slams-comeys-fbi-for-massive-failures-to-document-fisa-claims/">excoriated Comey for the abuses that were committed under his leadership</a>. When questioned in a congressional hearing, Comey claimed that he<a href="https://thefederalist.com/2020/09/30/comey-its-not-my-job-to-make-sure-fisa-applications-are-accurate/"> bore no responsibility to ensure whether or not the information in the warrants were accurate</a> and could <a href="https://thefederalist.com/2020/10/01/supercut-james-comey-doesnt-recall-anything-about-anything/">remember little else about the investigation that he oversaw</a>.

Comey was also cited by the Department of Justice for <a href="https://www.reuters.com/article/us-trump-russia-comey/doj-declines-to-prosecute-comey-despite-finding-that-he-leaked-info-idUSKCN1VJ1UO">improperly leaking sensitive information to the press</a>. When Columbia announced that he had taken a position at their Law School, it was revealed that he would teach alongside the professor to whom <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/politics/comey-columbia-law-school-professor-leaked-trump">Comey leaked his private conversations with President Trump</a>.

<a href="https://socialwork.columbia.edu/faculty-research/faculty/adjunct/anthony-zenkus/">Anthony Zenkus</a> is an Adjunct Lecturer in the School of Social Work at Columbia University and has also taught at Adelphi University in the Graduate School of Social Work. His Columbia University bio <a href="https://socialwork.columbia.edu/faculty-research/faculty/adjunct/anthony-zenkus/">describes</a> Zenkus as an “activist” on issues of racial justice and income inequality and that he was trained by former Vice President Al Gore as a presenter in the Climate Reality Project.

In addition, the biography <a href="https://socialwork.columbia.edu/faculty-research/faculty/adjunct/anthony-zenkus/">describes</a> Zenkus as an organizer with the <a href="http://occupywallst.org/about/">Occupy Wall Street</a> movement and that Zenkus advocates for raising the national minimum wage to $15 an hour.  Zenkus’s Columbia biography also <a href="https://socialwork.columbia.edu/faculty-research/faculty/adjunct/anthony-zenkus/">states</a> that in addition to his work as an adjunct lecturer, his work involves the training of professionals on trauma, child abuse, and family violence.

Zenkus replies to a now-deleted tweet from another user that stated, "The hammer and sickle is a symbol of genocide. What are you gonna admire next, the swastika?”  In his retort, Zenkus claims that America has committed “centuries” of slavery and genocide.

Zenkus maintains that capitalist societies are physically harmful to children that grow up in poverty. In a talk called, <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZK1DVinPg98&amp;ab_channel=TEDxTalks">“Watch the Gap: How Capitalism Negatively Affects Development</a>,” given at a TEDx event, Zenkus claims that capitalism is the cause of massive inequality and widespread poverty in the country.

At the same event, Zenkus <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZK1DVinPg98&amp;ab_channel=TEDxTalks">attributes</a> everything from racism and brain damage in children to the inequality that he alleges is inherent in our society. In order to alleviate poverty, Zenkus calls for a “transformational distribution of wealth.”

She argued on Twitter that the U.S. military is worse than ISIS. Kumar wrote on Twitter, "Yes ISIS is brutal, but US is more so, 1.3 million killed in Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan."

<a href="http://womens-studies.rutgers.edu/faculty/core-faculty/143-jasbir-puar">Dr. Jasbir Puar</a>, a professor at Rutgers University, was invited to speak at Vassar. Her lecture was titled “Inhumanist Biopolitics: How Palestine Matters.” In her lecture, she accuses Israel of “stunting” growth of Palestinian bodies through scientific experiment as well as harvesting their organs.

<a href="http://www.kevin-allred.com/">Kevin Allred</a> was an adjunct instructor at Rutgers University. He underwent a psych evaluation after a series of questionable and possibly threatening tweets relating to Trump and the Second Amendment. He also went to Twitter after the election to complain that Rutgers had not publicly ensured the safety of students after Trump won. He also teaches a class called "Politicizing Beyonce". He was <a href="https://www.insidehighered.com/news/2016/11/21/rutgers-places-adjunct-leave-tweets-he-says-were-based-rhetoric-president-elect">placed</a> on administrative leave as of 2016

<a href="http://history.rutgers.edu/faculty-directory/174-markowitz-norman">Dr. Norman Markowitz</a> is a Professor of History at Rutgers University. Dr. Markowitz is also an active member of the Communist Party USA since 1978.  He writes and teaches about communism using his “Marxist Perspective.” As a supporter of Obama, Markowitz said that it would be good if Obama’s policies were labeled socialist because it would bring socialism to the forefront and looked at more seriously as a viable option for Americans. He has been a longtime defender of the Communist spies Julius and Ethel Rosenberg, and has said he has “enormous respect” for Howard Zinn, a Marxist historian.

<a href="http://www.polisci.rutgers.edu/cb-profile/userprofile/whfield">Dr. William Field</a>, a professor at Rutgers University, sent out an email to all political science majors and minors to protest against Condoleeza Rice serving as their commencement speaker. He was also said to have congratulated one of the lead organizers of the protest who had damaged university property.

<a href="https://law.rutgers.edu/directory/view/mbk69">Margo Kaplan</a> is a Professor of Law at Rutgers University. According to her University biography, she teaches courses on “Criminal Law, Health Law and Policy, and Sex Crimes” and explores the “legal limitations on intimate decisions.”

Kaplan has spent her recent career attempting to normalize pedophilia. In a paper for the <a href="https://scholarlycommons.law.wlu.edu/wlulr/vol72/iss1/4/">Washington and Lee Law Review</a>, she advocates for the reclassification of pedophilia as a mental disorder so that pedophiles may be awarded more civil rights:

“...we should not categorically deny pedophilia the civil rights protections afforded to other mental disorders without a convincing normative justification supported by cogent scientific evidence. Strengthening civil rights protections for those with pedophilia also increases access to treatment and support that helps prevent child abuse.”

In a subsequent piece for the <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2014/10/06/opinion/pedophilia-a-disorder-not-a-crime.html">New York Times</a>, Kaplan attempts a sickening effort to lure readers into sympathizing with pedophiles by eschewing the obvious and violent rape of a minor as a simple childhood crush:

“THINK back to your first childhood crush. Maybe it was a classmate or a friend next door. Most likely, through school and into adulthood, your affections continued to focus on others in your approximate age group. But imagine if they did not. By some estimates, 1 percent of the male population continues, long after puberty, to find themselves attracted to prepubescent children. These people are living with pedophilia, a sexual attraction to prepubescents that often constitutes a mental illness. Unfortunately, our laws are failing them and, consequently, ignoring opportunities to prevent child abuse.”

Her intellectual sleight of hand is prevalent in both pieces that she authored. Kaplan blames the abuse of children partially on what she views as the severity in which society treats pedophiles.

When later interviewed by <a href="https://www.phillymag.com/news/2014/10/06/pedophilia-not-a-crime-rutgers-margo-kaplan/">Philadelphia Magazine</a>, she claimed to be “shocked” at the amount of support she had received for her article.

<a href="https://history.rutgers.edu/people/faculty/details/1143-bray-mark">Mark Bray</a> is a part-time lecturer in the Department of History at Rutgers University.

Bray first gained notoriety in 2017 when he <a href="https://www.mhpbooks.com/books/antifa/">authored</a> "The Anti-Fascist Handbook," and offered to <a href="https://campusreform.org/?id=14972">donate</a> half of the proceeds to ANTIFA.

Bray fully endorses ANTIFA’s embrace of violence as a tactic, and often describes it as “self-defense”. He has <a href="https://www.campusreform.org/?ID=9616">stated</a> that in order to “preemptively” shut down far-right events and gatherings,  “physical violence against white supremacists is both ethically justifiable and strategically effective.”

Soon after publication, he appeared on NBC to <a href="https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/white-house/antifa-violence-ethical-author-explains-why-n796106">defend</a> the use of force against opposing protestors. He claimed that as an illiberal organization, ANTIFA has and will continue to shut down the free speech of the far right.

Bray recently penned an op-ed in the <a href="https://www.washingtonpost.com/outlook/2020/06/01/trump-antifa-terrorist-organization/">Washington Post</a> in the midst of mass-rioting following the death of George Floyd. After expressing sympathy with the looters, Bray claims that police officers are, in fact, deadlier than ANTIFA.  He wrote, “...and in the United States, ANTIFA have never killed anyone, unlike their enemies in Klan hoods and squad cars.” 

After his views were <a href="https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/red-alert-politics/dartmouth-president-disavows-professor-justified-antifa-violence-self-defense">condemned</a> by Dartmouth University - his employer at the time - Bray soon began lecturing at Rutgers, where his university biography describes him as a “historian of human rights, terrorism, and politics in Modern Europe.”

<a href="https://asianlanguages.rutgers.edu/menu-i/69-richard-vanness-simmons">Richard VanNess Simmons</a> is a professor of Chinese and East Asian Studies and serves as the <a href="https://www.ciru.rutgers.edu/about-us/people-2">Director of the Confucius Institute</a> at Rutgers University. The Confucius Institute is funded by the Chinese Communist Party and serves as a focal point for the dissemination of propaganda and foreign espionage on American campuses.

<a href="https://africanastudies.rutgers.edu/people/core-faculty/people-list/30-faculty/140-brittney-cooper">Brittney Cooper</a> is an associate professor of Africana and Women’s and Gender Studies at Rutgers University. Much of her research and writing centers around the intersections of race, feminism, and gender. Cooper’s work has led her to develop a number of bizarre opinions:

 	<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">White families, like Mitt Romney’s,<a href="https://www.salon.com/2014/01/07/white_supremacy_wins_again_melissa_harris_perry_and_the_racial_false_equivalence/"> can’t properly raise black children</a>.</li>
 	<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">Linear time is a product of a Euro-centric world, or in short,<a href="https://www.thecollegefix.com/rutgers-professor-even-the-concept-of-time-is-racist/"> our concept of time is racist.</a></li>
 	<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">A founding principle of our nation is that black people are inhuman, therefore<a href="https://www.salon.com/2015/04/29/black_americas_baltimore_schism_why_the_freddie_gray_tragedy_demands_serious_soul_searching/"> riots are really just resistance</a> against an unjust system.</li>
 	<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">BREXIT was the result of<a href="https://www.campusreform.org/?ID=7760"> white nationalism.</a></li>
 	<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">And obesity in the black community is<a href="https://www.campusreform.org/?ID=13866"> caused by racism</a>.</li>
 	<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">Cooper has publicly attacked conservatives on multiple occasions, most recently during a Livestream commentary on the DNC. Before launching into a tirade accusing Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas for “demolishing the civil rights movement,”</li>

Cooper has attributed most of the deaths from the pandemic to racism and conservatives, stating that, “I feel like most Black people are clear that this utterly absurd push to re-open the country is all about a gross necropolitical calculation that it is Black people who are dying disproportionately from COVID,” and <a href="https://www.thecollegefix.com/rutgers-university-prof-reopening-the-country-is-about-killing-black-people/">blaming Trump supporters for the hundreds of thousands of deaths</a> due to the coronavirus.

Cooper has previously stated that a conservative’s beliefs are “rooted in racism.” In an appearance on MSNBC, <a href="https://www.newsbusters.org/blogs/nb/duncan-schroeder/2020/08/30/deranged-msnbc-pundit-goes-hateful-rant-against-trump-voters">Cooper stated that conservatives have a desire for power</a> at the expense of black and brown Americans.

Cooper has denigrated conservatives throughout her career along racial lines. <a href="https://www.c-span.org/video/?444245-2/eloquent-rage&amp;playEvent">During a speech in Baltimore</a>, she stated that as white men lose their power, they will continue to “terrorize” black men and women. In a previous thread, she stated that the black community is being eaten alive by “capitalism, patriarchy, and racism,” and white people won’t feel any negative consequences of these systems so long as they can continue to displace white people through systems like gentrification.

Ms. <a href="https://crimjust.rutgers.edu/people/faculty-directory/details/30-faculty/faculty/620-erakat-noura">Noura Erakat</a> is an Assistant Professor of Africana Studies at Rutgers University. According to her university profile, Professor Erakat specializes in fields that include international law, humanitarian law, human rights law, national security law, refugee law, and Critical Race Theory. A harsh critic of the state of Israel, the professor has repeatedly demonized and called for the destruction of the only Jewish state in the world.

Professor Erakat’s work frequently characterizes Israel as an apartheid state that is equivalent to the racist, apartheid-era South African government. In a November 2019 interview with DemocracyNow, she stated that”<a href="https://www.democracynow.org/2019/11/19/noura_erakat_israeli_settlements_trump_announcement">we are witnessing the entrenchment of an apartheid regime</a>, and the U.S. [is] at the helm of that process.”

Professor Erakat repeats this false claim to justify her support of the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement. In a November 2020 video panel discussion with the Middle East Institute, Professor Erakat calls on the world <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7S7ZkKMFUuU&amp;t=3956s">to resist and alienate Israel via adherence to a BDS platform</a>.

Mr. Omar Barghouti, a co-founder of the BDS movement, admits that the ultimate outcome of these steps is the <a href="https://twitter.com/StandWithUs/status/1267561561565958144">dismantlement of the state of Israel</a>.

Professor Erakat likewise calls for Israel to be destroyed and replaced by an Arab-majority Palestinian state. As reported by The Spectator in July 2019, Ms. Erakat spoke at an event in Washington, DC, where she <a href="https://spectator.org/noura-erakat-recounts-her-anxiety-over-israels-existence/">advocated for Arabs to “help indigenize” Jews in Israel </a>in order to achieve a sole Palestinian state or a “one-state solution.”

Professor Erakat is far more brazen in calling for the outright destruction of Israel when speaking at anti-Israel protests around the country. During one march in May 2021—captured by News2Share—she called for the <a href="https://twitter.com/FordFischer/status/1393739882825195521/">liberation of Palestine, “from the river to the sea.</a>”

According to the Israeli newspaper Arutz Sheva, the chant, “from the river to the sea,” was <a href="https://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/291203">popularized by terrorist groups such as the Palestinian Liberation Organization</a> (PLO). The phrase alludes to the destruction of Israel—and thus the genocide of the nation’s Jews—between the Jordan River and the Mediteranian Sea. <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/1948/08/02/archives/aim-to-oust-jews-pledged-by-sheikh-head-of-moslem-brotherhood-says.html">The chant is thought to originate from the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood, Hassan el-Banna</a>, who was qouted by The New York Times stating, "If the Jewish state becomes a fact, and this is realized by the Arab peoples, they will drive the Jews who live in their midst into the sea."

Even though Professor Erakat can be heard calling for the “denuclearization of Israel” in the same speech, she had in 2013 <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I20HOx5zfv0&amp;ab_channel=JFhsfohhMN">condemned efforts to dismantle Iran’s nuclear program as “racist</a>.”

She further <a href="https://www.instagram.com/tv/CMzhsZtBfgg/?igshid=5p918cganhq1">defended this position</a> in a video uploaded to her Instagram in March of 2021, arguing that there is no contradiction in opposing sanctions for Iran while supporting sanctions on Israel.

During a separate march in May of 2021,  Ms. Erakat can be heard chanting “By spirit and by blood, we redeem you, Palestine!” in front of the Israeli Embassy.

In April of 2020, Noura Erakat’s cousin, Mr. Ahmed Erakat, was killed after <a href="https://www.algemeiner.com/2020/06/29/palestinian-rams-a-checkpoint-death-lies-and-videotape/">ramming his car into an Israeli checkpoint during a failed terrorist attack</a>. Despite the publication of footage verifying the incident and a pipe bomb later being found in the van by investigators,  Ms. Erakat continues to claim that he was murdered by Israeli forces.

<a href="http://www.cla.csulb.edu/departments/journalism/people/faculty/chris-knap/">Christopher Knap</a>, a Communications Professor at CSULB, assigned a homework assignment which mocked Trump as sexist and homophobic. The assignment involved an employee named "Ronald Plump" that harassed women and used homophobic slurs.

<a href="https://www.csulb.edu/office-of-the-president/president/about">Dr. Jane Close Conoley</a>, is the current President of California State University - Long Beach. In an op-ed from 2014, Conoley stated that if you are “light-skinned” you have “significant unearned privilege.” Moreover, these privileged individuals show distrust and “lower expectations of behavior” of those with another skin color.

Michael Park is an instructor at California State University-Long Beach. He used a media law class to disparage Tea Partiers and conservatives as being birthers. In an assignment, he implied that opposition to President Obama is based on a belief that he is not a "true American". This is similar to a class taught by Christopher Knap, a fellow CSULB professor that assigned a homework assignment implying Trump is homophobic/sexist.

Who gets credit for doing and developing mathematics, who is capable in mathematics, and who is seen as part of the mathematical community is generally viewed as White,” Gutierrez argued.

A signatory to the <a href="https://usacbi.org/endorsers/">US Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel</a>, Clover has compared Israel to Nazi Germany and <a href="https://popula.com/2018/12/05/from-the-river-to-the-sea/">described it as an “eliminationist ethnostate</a>.” A self-described communist, Clover has cited his world view as justification for the destruction of Israel as a state.

Clover was <a href="https://sacramento.cbslocal.com/2019/02/26/uc-davis-professor-joshua-clover-cops-killed/">condemned</a> after past tweets and statements in a 2015 <a href="https://archives.sfweekly.com/exhibitionist/2015/09/17/the-write-stuff-joshua-clover-on-wearing-intense-knowledge-lightly-and-changing-quickly">San Francisco Weekly</a> interview advocating for the murder of police officers.

The email was an advertisement for “Conservative Coming Out Week!” Lewin, in a fit of rage, replied, “F@#$ YOU, REPUBLICANS.” Not only was she outraged that Republicans were active on campus, but she also did not approve of their event names nor the use of the phrase “coming out.”

Ms. Putman completed her dissertation at the University of New Mexico, titled, <a href="https://digitalrepository.unm.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=1046&amp;context=cj_etds">“Interrupting the Silence: A Critical Discourse Analysis of a Pilot Seminar on Racism, Intersectionality, and White Privilege.”</a> The paper is based on a seminar that she created in order to teach college students about dismantling white privilege in their own lives.
Ms. Putman’s stated goal was to help her students “strengthen their understanding of systemic racism and white privilege and also provide them with useful strategies for confronting and disrupting white privilege in their lives, relationships, groups, and organizations.”
In the dissertation, Ms. Putman outlines the various ideas and beliefs that she states are products of “white privilege,” including the ideas of America as a meritocracy, color-blindness, and individualism.

In one example, Ms. Putman suggests that parents talk to their children, “no matter how young they are,” about race and social justice. In another example, she urges white people to show up to protests prepared to “force the police to arrest them.

<a href="http://hls.harvard.edu/faculty/directory/10906/Tushnet">Mark Tushnet</a>, a Law Professor at Harvard University, asked liberals to begin treating Christians and conservatives like Nazis. In a blog post, he claimed that Christians and conservatives have lost, and the primary question now is “How to deal with the losers.”

<a href="https://ghsm.hms.harvard.edu/faculty-staff/michelle-evelyn-morse">Michelle Evelyn Morse</a>, M.D. is a Instructor of Medicine and an Affiliate in the Department of Global Health and Social Medicine at Harvard University.  She is also co-founder of the <a href="http://www.socialmedicineconsortium.org/campaign-against-racism/">Campaign Against Racism</a>, which describes itself as an organization that seeks to “dismantle structural racism and its effects on health around the world.”

In an interview with <a href="https://www.pri.org/stories/2020-06-02/health-care-part-systems-oppression-says-harvard-medicine-professor">The World</a>, Morse outlined what she believes is structural oppression in the healthcare field. She explained how the Coronavirus is exposing divides caused by racism:

“And I think what we're seeing with the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on communities of color is that these are the fault lines that have existed for generations. And the sources are the very social arrangement that puts white people on top and black and brown people on the bottom.” 

 Morse has admitted that the long-term goal of her organization is to destroy capitalism, saying, “...the systems of racial capitalism and structural racism that we're trying to impact and upend and break down are going to take much, much longer” 

Morse is also very candid about utilizing the coronavirus pandemic to accomplish her organization’s ambitions of fundamentally transforming the country: 

“We have to seize on this moment. We have to make sure that health workers are not just assumed to be the heroes of COVID-19, that we actually do the work of upending the sources of oppression that have led to these inequities and that we recognize that that takes time and that that takes constant pressure.”

<a href="https://hds.harvard.edu/people/cornel-r-west">Dr. Cornel West</a> is a Professor of the Practice of Public Philosophy at Harvard University and a Professor Emeritus at Princeton University. West is also a member of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) and has used the organization’s platform to <a href="https://www.dsausa.org/democratic-left/cornel_west_endorses_bernie_sanders/">endorse</a> Bernie Sanders for president.  

West is known for his vocal opposition to Donald Trump, <a href="https://www.campusreform.org/?ID=14389">describing</a> him at a rally for Bernie Sanders as a “neo-fascist gangster.”

West is also notable for his mistrust of the official narrative of 9/11. As <a href="https://www.campusreform.org/?ID=5054">reported</a> by Campus Reform, he relayed his suspicion when asked if 9/11 was an inside-job during the Million Muslim March in Washington D.C. “At this point, I’m still uncertain. I think there might be a possibility but my hunch is that with Bin Laden’s definitive investment, he must have had something to do with it,” explained West.

Among West’s other peculiar beliefs, he is an avowed socialist that has served as an honorary chair for the DSA. In an <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4zYAH-BZZTs">interview</a> with Laura Flanders, he praised Karl Marx has having an “indispensable” analysis of America, declaring that American capitalism forces people to live in “wage slavery.” When <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kuc6C2_Txmw">challenged</a> by Tucker Carlson for his support of Socialism, most notably for its repeated and abysmal failures, West deflected and accused the US of interfering in the preventing the implementation of authentic socialism in places like Venezuela.

Perhaps the most disturbing example of Dr. West’s radical beliefs in his sustained relationship and defense of notorious Nation of Islam (NOI) leader, Louis Farrakhan. 

Farrakhan is noted for his virulent and antisemitic remarks praise of Adolf Hitler made during NOI sermons:

 	<li style="font-weight: 400;">"The Jews have control over those agencies of government. When you want something in the world, a Jew holds the door."</li>

Despite a bevy of disgusting remarks, Dr. West continues to collaborate with and defend Farrakhan. He most recently <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QfC-z80GCSk">appeared</a> with him at an event in Chicago, hosted by PBS, to discuss issues in the black community. Numerous other academics and community leaders were present. His association with Farrakhan goes back decades, as is exhibited in a lecture given at Harvard University where he <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2KwhXPXjjMw">flouted</a> his agreement with him that white supremacy is ingrained in America. In another lecture,  Dr. West openly <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6qmuSqlvWE4">admitted</a> that he works with Farrakhan. 

When <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pZwhYShH-pE">pressed</a> by Roland Marted about his relationship with Farrakhan, West refused to disavow him. West responded that “people need to stop lying about my brother,” and denied that Farrakhan had ever made anti-Semitic remarks. West went on to praise Farrakhan for his “consistency” on white supremacy.   

Dr. West has also openly embraced ANTIFA. <a href="https://www.democracynow.org/2020/6/1/cornel_west_us_moment_of_reckoning">Appearing</a> on Democracy Now!, Dr. West claimed that ANTIFA “saved his life” when protesting in Charlottesville and lambasted the Trump administration's decision to label ANTIFA a terrorist organization:

“...ANTIFA saved my life in Charlottesville. There’s no doubt about it, that they provided the security, you see. So the very notion that they become candidates for a terrorist organization, but the people who were trying to kill us — the Nazis, the Klan — they’re not candidates for terrorist organization status — but that’s what you’re going to get. You’re going to get a Trump-led neofascist backlash and clampdown on what is going on. We ought to be very clear about that. The neofascism has that kind of obsession with militaristic imposition in the face of any kind of disorder. And so we’ve got to be fortified for that.”

Cornel West is a vocal critic of Israel. In 2014 - though aware that terrorist group Hamas was launching thousands of rockets into Israeli civilians areas - he nonetheless <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AvFVnRfpj7w&amp;feature=youtu.be&amp;t=281">accused</a> Israel of state-sponsored terrorism and urged “resistance” on behalf of the Palestinians.

<a href="https://hls.harvard.edu/faculty/directory/10048/Bartholet">Elizabeth Bartholet</a> is the Morris Wasserstein Public Interest Professor of Law and Faculty Director of the Child Advocacy Program at Harvard University. Bartholet’s work is primarily centered around child welfare. She <a href="https://bartholet.wpengine.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/children.pdf">believes</a> that “poverty and social justice are the root causes of most child maltreatment” and that early childhood intervention by social services is needed to prevent abuse. 

Bartholet is a vocal and visceral opponent of home-schooling, describing it as “near-absolute parental power” and “inconsistent” with the human rights of children. In a <a href="https://arizonalawreview.org/pdf/62-1/62arizlrev1.pdf">paper written for the Arizona Law Review</a>, she advocates for an outright ban on homeschooling. Bartholet sees homeschooling as a danger to society, and accuses parents who decide to remove their children from public schools of promoting segregation and misogyny:  

“...parents can now keep their children at home in the name of homeschooling free from any real scrutiny as to whether or how they are educating their children. Many homeschool because they want to isolate their children from ideas and values central to our democracy, determined to keep their children from exposure to views that might enable autonomous choice about their future lives. Many promote racial segregation and female subservience. Many question science. Abusive parents can keep their children at home free from the risk that teachers will report them to child protection services. Some homeschool precisely for this reason.”

Bartholet repeats and expands on her position, claiming that homeschooling may lead to child abuse: 

“Parents can choose to teach that biblical truth trumps all, that all science is false science, that women should be educated to be subservient to men, that people of color are inferior to whites, that people with nontraditional sexual orientations or gender identities should be “cured” or condemned. Parents can choose to put their children to work, notwithstanding child labor laws. Parents can choose to beat their children, starve them, or chain them up…”

Bartholet then critiques the inability to enact any legislation due to the “outdated nature of the Constitution, 

“The U.S. Constitution with its negative rights structure is an anomaly, outdated and inadequate by the standards of the rest of the world Negative rights— rights to be free from state intervention—are particularly inadequate for children...The U.S. Constitution’s focus on negative rights represents an older western constitutional tradition, “increasingly out of step with emerging constitutional norms…”

Bartholet’s hostility towards homeschooling appears to stem from the fact that a disproportionate amount of these parents are conservative Christians and not progressives: 

“It is the religious ideologues who dominate the homeschooling movement...Nor is there any other significant advocacy organization designed to represent the views of the highly educated nonreligious homeschoolers, the descendants of the John Holt progressive wing of the homeschooling movement.”

Bartholet had been slated to <a href="https://www.campusreform.org/?ID=14850">appear</a> at a Harvard-sponsored summit that was described as an “anti-homeschooling conference.” Titled “<a href="https://cap.law.harvard.edu/homeschooling-summit-june-18-19-2020/">Homeschooling Summit: Problems, Politics, and Prospects for Reform</a>,” it has since been postponed after receiving fierce backlash.
