<a href="https://tischcollege.tufts.edu/people/faculty/thomas-abowd">Thomas Abowd</a> is a lecturer in the American and Colonialism Studies Departments at Tufts University. Abowd is the author of <a href="https://www.amazon.com/Colonial-Jerusalem-Construction-Difference-Contemporary/dp/0815634692">“Colonial Jerusalem &#8211; The Spatial Construction of Identity and Difference in a City of Myth 1948-2012.”</a> He has also served as an <a href="https://canarymission.org/professor/Thomas_Abowd">advisory board member</a> of the group Jewish Voice for Peace in Boston and regularly collaborates with the antisemitic group, <a href="https://www.nationalsjp.org/">Students for Justice in Palestine.</a>
Abowd frequently refers to Israel as a colonial state, in which European Jews stole the land from the Arabs who were living in what is now Israel and launched a campaign of ethnic cleansing that continues to this day. In a 2016 speech at the <a href="https://www.c-span.org/video/?418402-3/palestine-center-conference-panel-2">Jerusalem Fund’s Annual Conference</a>, Abowd repeated this claim, alleging that Israel’s capital Jerusalem is being actively purged of the Arabs that live in the city.
Abowd’s view that Israel is an apartheid state forms the basis for his support for the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement. BDS is weaponized as a means for those who wish to economically and politically isolate, strangle, and dismantle the state of Israel by attacking any companies and nations that have ties with it. As a featured speaker at a <a href="https://jvp-boston.org/hundreds-march-boston-condemn-israeli-violence-corporate-complicity/">2014 protest</a> hosted by Jewish Voice for Peace Boston, Abowd condemned Israel and other companies that he alleged were complicit in the murder of civilians:
“As we all witnessed Israeli jets bombing civilian areas this week, Israeli troops storming Palestinian refugee camps and cities, and the killing of Palestinian civilians, I am reminded how complicit the US government, US corporations, and the American taxpayers are in the human rights abuses committed by Israel.” 
With his prior statements and actions in mind, many in the <a href="https://www.campusreform.org/?ID=13577">Tuft’s community were alarmed</a> when Abowd began offering a course titled “Colonizing Palestine.”  According to the <a href="https://as.tufts.edu/colonialismstudies/documents/coursesFall2019.pdf">course description</a>, students will examine Palestine and Israel through the “lens of colonialism studies” and answer important questions regarding issues like “gender and sexuality.”
In an <a href="https://tuftsdaily.com/opinion/2018/09/20/op-ed-professor-thomas-abowd-class-colonizing-palestine/">op-ed defending the course</a>, Abowd describes Israel’s historical claims in the Middle East as “biblical myths.” He even admits that the accounts of historians that have accused Israel of ethnic cleansing are the inspiration for the course:
“(Baruch Kimmerling) wrote in detail about the various ways in which Israel was built overwhelmingly upon the land and even within homes stolen from those Palestinians made refugees. These two scholars, like thousands of others fighting for justice and equality in Israel and Palestine, have inspired my own intellectual pursuits and, indeed, the course I am teaching this semester at Tufts.“

<a href="https://www.wm.edu/sites/dhp/faculty/ciccariello-maher-george.php">Dr. George Ciccariello-Maher</a> is a Visiting Scholar of Decolonizing Humanities and Modern Languages and Literatures at the College of William and Mary. He previously taught in the Department of History and Politics at Drexel University.

From the College of William and Mary's website, his work at the Decolonizing Humanities Project is <a href="https://www.wm.edu/sites/dhp/decoloniality/index.php">described</a> as exploring, “how colonization, modernity, capitalism, and, most recently, neoliberalism has displaced an array of modes of living, thinking and being.  Decoloniality reveals “the dark side of modernity” and how it is built “on the backs” of “others.”

Ciccarello first came to notoriety for his racially inflammatory statements on twitter. On Christmas of 2016, he <a href="https://www.inquirer.com/philly/news/Drexel-officials-Professor-George-Ciccariello-Mahers-White-Genocide-tweet-was-utterly-reprehensible.html">tweeted</a> out,

“All I want for Christmas is White Genocide,”

and,

“To clarify: when the whites were massacred during the Haitian Revolution, that was a  good thing indeed.”

He also tweeted out,

“Some guy gave up his first-class seat for a uniformed soldier. People are thanking him. I’m trying not to vomit or yell about Mosul.”

When Ciccariello was confronted by <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ndkvgmGIQHQ">Tucker Carlson</a> over his tweets, he only proceeded to double-down. In the following exchange, he defended the academic veracity of his tweets by claiming, “performance art is scholarship.”

Ciccariello doesn’t shy away from utilizing violence to accomplish his radical beliefs. In an op-ed for <a href="https://www.salon.com/2015/05/04/riots_work_wolf_blitzer_and_the_washington_post_completely_missed_the_real_lesson_from_baltimore/">Salon</a>, he praised the riots that had engulfed Baltimore in 2015 in an article titled “Riots Work.” He wrote, “without the threat of insurgency in the streets, no charges would ever have been brought in the murder of Freddie Gray.” Obviously not a proponent of police, Ciccariello openly <a href="https://www.salon.com/2015/04/24/we_must_disband_the_police_body_cameras_arent_enough_only_radical_change_will_stop_cops_who_kill/">advocates</a> for the abolishment of police forces, describing them as, “originally slavecatchers.”

When not calling for the disbandment of our law enforcement, Ciccariello is an ardent defender of the socialist regime in Venezuela. He regularly <a href="https://www.counterpunch.org/2013/04/12/thatcher-is-dead-long-live-chavez/">praises</a> Hugo Chavez and has bizarrely <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nhYz1owM-uA&amp;feature=youtu.be">claimed</a> that Venezuela does not have corrupt elections.

Ciccariello doesn’t shy away from violent groups as well. In order to fight white-nationalism, Ciccarello called on Americans to embrace the radical group ANTIFA in an interview with <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WTv_hqjrmi8&amp;feature=youtu.be">Democracy Now</a> following the El Paso mass shooting. Although committed by a stated white nationalist, in the same interview Ciccariello placed the blame on Donald Trump for the deaths, claiming that his rhetoric on immigrants inspired the shooter’s rampage.  Ciccariello made similar accusations in a prior <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WTv_hqjrmi8&amp;feature=youtu.be">interview</a> about the Texas Church Massacre, alluding that “whiteness” and Trump’s stoking of white victimhood was to blame for the murders.

<a href="http://www.cla.csulb.edu/departments/journalism/people/faculty/chris-knap/">Christopher Knap</a>, a Communications Professor at CSULB, assigned a homework assignment which mocked Trump as sexist and homophobic. The assignment involved an employee named &#8220;Ronald Plump&#8221; that harassed women and used homophobic slurs.

<a href="http://www.cla.csulb.edu/departments/journalism/people/faculty/chris-knap/">Christopher Knap</a>, a Communications Professor at CSULB, assigned a homework assignment which mocked Trump as sexist and homophobic. The assignment involved an employee named "Ronald Plump" that harassed women and used homophobic slurs.

<a href="https://www.csulb.edu/office-of-the-president/president/about">Dr. Jane Close Conoley</a>, is the current President of California State University - Long Beach. In an op-ed from 2014, Conoley stated that if you are “light-skinned” you have “significant unearned privilege.” Moreover, these privileged individuals show distrust and “lower expectations of behavior” of those with another skin color.

Michael Park is an instructor at California State University-Long Beach. He used a media law class to disparage Tea Partiers and conservatives as being birthers. In an assignment, he implied that opposition to President Obama is based on a belief that he is not a "true American". This is similar to a class taught by Christopher Knap, a fellow CSULB professor that assigned a homework assignment implying Trump is homophobic/sexist.

<a href="http://www.femst.ucsb.edu/people/mireille-miller-young">Dr. Mireille Miller-Young</a> is an Associate Professor of Feminist Studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Miller was sentenced to three years’ probation after violently attacking a 16-year-old pro-life activist on campus. She was convicted of assault, theft, and destruction of property, but the University of Santa Barbara never fired her.

<a href="https://www.religion.ucsb.edu/people/faculty/rudy-busto/">Rudy Busto </a>is an Associate Professor at the University of California - Santa Barbara. His work is described as examining how “race structures state and civil society” and how the concept of race structures religion. 

As reported by <a href="https://www.campusreform.org/?ID=14987">Campus Reform</a>, Busto recently gave a lengthy presentation to one of his classes at the end of the semester in which he explained in detail why he believes that America is not an exceptional nation. He declared that “history has dispelled the notion of American Exceptionalism,” Busto listed off the reasons why he believed that America was no longer exceptional, including losing the Vietnam War and the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

<a href="https://www.religion.ucsb.edu/people/student/timothy-snediker/">Timothy Snediker</a> works in the Department of Religious Studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara. He first rose to notoriety for tweeting about his desire to assassinate Jesus Christ.

Snediker’s animosity towards Christ stems from his belief that the concepts of the individual and capitalism, both of which he opposes, arose out of Christianity during the enlightenment in Europe.

In the <a href="http://jcrt.org/religioustheory/2016/05/18/theodicy-of-money-the-scene-and-subject-of-forgiveness/">Theodicy of Money - The Scene of and Subject Forgiveness</a>, Snediker writes:

“Against the standard left critique of capitalism, which presupposes a certain secularism and a certain atheism, one must rather grapple with the peculiar verve of a comment made by Giorgio Agamben: “God did not die; he was transformed into money...To the identity of Christianity and capitalism corresponds the identity of God and money….Today, it is simply not enough to be an atheist, because, in the last instance, everyone believes in money." 

As written in <a href="https://jcrt.org/archives/14.1/snediker.pdf">The Autonomy of the Now</a>, he further expands on his position:

“Our hypothesis is that, under the brutal conditions of global capitalist hegemony, resistance necessitates the affirmation of the intrinsic instability and artificiality of identity…”

“...resistance to power necessitates a two-fold refusal of the authority and sovereignty of both Christianity and Secularism…”

“Secularization is the strategic means by which the West (which is to say, Christendom, or European colonialism, or, simply, Christianity) effects its accumulations, its appropriations, and its dominations.....Christianity’s hegemony has not waned; it has metamorphosed and Metastasized."

“Christianity is the identitarian religion par excellence: it ceaselessly works to individualize, legitimate and commoditize one’s identity....this is how Christianity was constituted as a privileged instrument of power”

“Resistance to power necessitates, therefore, a restoration of the autonomy of the now, which in turn requires a two-fold counter-strategy: one the one hand, an acceptance of the instability of identity and the concurrent affirmation of our becoming-other; on the other hand, a refusal of power, which, in the era of global capitalism amounts to a critique of the secular, or, again, a critique of Christianity. “

"Our imperative is to join the struggle for subjectivity, to struggle to speak truthfully about ourselves, to discover that relation to the outside which allows us, in accordance with Nietzsche’s injunction, to become what we are—to become, in a word, anti-Christian."

Snediker’s vitriol towards Christianity exploded when asked what he would do if he could travel 2000 years back in time, he <a href="https://twitter.com/realBenLeBlanc/status/1287809540373778434">tweeted</a>:

“Easy. I would find and assassinate Jesus of Nazareth.” 

He then proceeded to double-down, tweeting:

“Theologically speaking, it would be really important to get him before his calling and ministry begins, so that gives me roughly a decade to make it to Palestine, locate the man, and make my move. I don’t want to be the heroic Judas avant la lettre”

Dr. <a href="https://uca.edu/ftcw/facultystaff/assistant-professor-of-creative-writing/">M. Shelly Conner</a> is an Assistant Professor of Creative Writing at the University of Central Arkansas and was previously an Associate Professor of English at Loyola University-Chicago. Dr. Conner wrote in The Feminist Wire that all men have a secret desire to rape women in their sleep.

<a href="http://www.luc.edu/history/people/facultydirectory/donoghuejohn.shtml">Dr. John Donoghue</a> is a Professor of History at Loyola University-Chicago. He regularly teaches a course on slavery and abolition, but updated his class this year to include Donald Trump, and linked him to slavery. His courses and research often tries to link capitalism to slavery.

<a href="https://www.luc.edu/theology/facultystaff/hermansenmarcia.shtml">Dr. Marcia Hermansen</a> is a Professor of Islamic Studies at Loyola University-Chicago. Hermansen said after the election of Donald Trump that professors should give Muslim students extra time on assignments if they requested; "“If a Muslim student requests extra time to complete assignments, it may be because they feel threatened" she said at a post-election discussion. Additionally, Hermansen has a problem of intolerance towards people critical of Islam, as she once backed out of a panel with Islam critic Robert Spencer.  The event was supposed to be about different perspectives on Islam, but Hermansen apparently was offended that it would actually involve different perspectives on Islam.

<a href="https://uchv.princeton.edu/people/peter-singer">Peter Singer</a> is a Professor of Bioethics at Princeton. He believes that it is reasonable for healthcare providers to kill mentally disabled babies. He strongly questions the personhood given to any unborn child and finds little similarity to killing an unborn child and killing any other person. However, Singer believes that all rights, including the right to life, should be granted to animals. Singer simultaneously advocates for the right to life for animals and the right to abort the unborn child. Singer believes children should be able to be aborted up to 2 years old.

Rather than addressing the points raised by the article, Briggs attacked the student who authored the piece, Roberto Fonseca, as “repugnant” and accused him of committing violence through hate speech. In a Facebook post, she continued to personally attack Fonseca and encouraged others to call the paper&#8217;s editor to protest to the piece.

In the past, Briggs has attracted attention for her vitriol towards students. She <a href="https://www.thecollegefix.com/professor-publicly-slurs-student-shitty-questioning-alternative-gender-identities/">once lashed out at the author </a>of an op-ed in Chico's student newspaper that <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20170513155159/https://theorion.com/65496/opinion/debunking-gsec-myths/">attempted to counter to statistics</a> offered by the university’s Gender and Sexuality Equity Center (of which Briggs serves on the advisory board) on issues such as the prevalence of sexual assault on campus. Rather than addressing the points raised by the article, Briggs attacked the student who authored the piece, Roberto Fonseca, as “repugnant” and accused him of committing violence through hate speech. In a Facebook post, she continued to personally attack Fonseca and encouraged others to call the paper's editor to protest to the piece.

<a href="https://www.law.georgetown.edu/faculty/peller-gary.cfm">Gary Pellar </a>is a Professor of Law at Georgetown University. After the death of Antonin Scalia, Pellar drafted an email in opposition to mourning his death, accusing him of being a bully.

Professor <a href="https://www.law.georgetown.edu/faculty/preston-d-mitchum/">Preston Mitchum</a> is a law professor at Georgetown University. Though he is widely known for his extremely controversial and extreme opinions, constantly referring to how much he hates cops. Though he may have taken it a step too far with of of his latest, stating, “Yes, ALL white people are racist. Yes, ALL men are sexist. Yes, ALL cis people are transphobic. We have to unpack that. That's the work!”

<a href="https://gufaculty360.georgetown.edu/s/contact/00336000014RgYtAAK/michael-dyson">Michael Eric Dyson</a> is a Professor of Sociology at Georgetown University.

Dyson has<a href="https://www.wglt.org/post/dyson-isu-white-supremacy-sees-resurgence-under-trump-0#stream/0"> alleged</a> that there has been a “resurgence” of white supremacy under a conservative presidency. In an interview with<a href="https://video.foxnews.com/v/5308799067001#sp=show-clips"> Tucker Carlson</a>, he has also asked for whites to pay reparations to black communities to offset America’s legacy of racism. During a<a href="https://www.c-span.org/video/?445812-1/aurea-foundation-hosts-munk-debate-political-correctness"> debate</a> on political correctness in 2018 with Professor Jordan Peterson, Dyson repeatedly referred to Peterson as just a “mean, mad, old, white, man.” 

Just prior to Independence Day 2019, Dyson appeared on<a href="https://www.mediaite.com/politics/michael-eric-dyson-on-betsy-ross-flag-symbolism-why-dont-we-wear-a-swastika-for-july-fourth/"> MSNBC </a>and compared the iconic Betsy Ross Flag to a Nazi Swastika,

“Well, it hails from the Revolutionary period, of course, of this nation’s founding, which was deeply embroiled in, you know, enslavement, of the owners of slaves…..Right-wing white supremacists have used it as a rallying cry for their own cause.” 

Dyson continued,

“Words matter, symbols matter too. Why don’t we wear a swastika for July Fourth? Because I don’t know, it makes a difference.”

Dyson is also associated with the notorious anti-Semite and Nation of Islam leader, Louis Farrakhan. In 2010, Dyson<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ULAThBZKiM"> participated</a> in a roundtable discussion hosted by PBS with Farrakhan and<a href="http://www.finalcall.com/artman/publish/Minister_Louis_Farrakhan_9/article_7248.shtml"> interviewed</a> him the same year about the economic condition of black communities.

<a href="https://liberalarts.tamu.edu/anthropology/profile/filipe-vieira-de-castro/">Filipe Vieira de Castro</a> is the Frederic R. Mayer Fellow II of Nautical Archaeology, an Anthropology professor, and the Director of the Ship Reconstruction Laboratory at Texas A&amp;M University. Castro is virulently anti-Israel, has expressed anti-Christian sentiments numerous times, slandered prominent conservatives, and confronted Turning Point USA students on campus.
As confirmed by a member of the TPUSA chapter at Texas A&amp;M, Castro approached and immediately began arguing with them while they were tabling at the Memorial Student Center (MSC). Posting about the event later, he stated that TPUSA students should have no place at a university and even joked in a reply to a comment that they should be sent to the gulag for “re-education.”

Castro, among other protestors at Texas A&amp;M University, advocated for the removal of a statue of Sullivan Ross, a Confederate General and former President of the university. When <a href="http://www.thebatt.com/news/protesters-voice-their-opinions-for-and-against-the-sul-ross-statue/article_6b24ced2-ade4-11ea-a872-875170880ccd.html">interviewed</a>, he stated that the statue represented “racism” and “exclusion.”
“Why do we want a statue that stands for racism and exclusion and hatred? Statues are just artifacts, they are not history&#8230;History is in the library. If you really want to know the history of the Confederacy, go to the library.” 
While protesting to take down certain statues, he is also an advocate for erecting one of convicted terrorist Susan Rosenberg.
“With ups and downs, she has dedicated her life to fighting injustice. She deserves a statue.”

And if it can be more shocking, these creeps should know how it feels to be dehumanized, insulted, beaten, assassinated for religious reasons. Castro has recently received <a href="https://www.breitbart.com/tech/2020/08/19/texas-a-m-prof-filipe-castro-calls-trump-fat-klansman-hopes-he-gets-coronavirus/">widespread attention</a> for these and other incendiary remarks from various news outlets.

<a href="https://liberalarts.tamu.edu/anthropology/profile/filipe-vieira-de-castro/">Filipe Vieira de Castro</a> is the Frederic R. Mayer Fellow II of Nautical Archaeology, an Anthropology professor, and the Director of the Ship Reconstruction Laboratory at Texas A&amp;M University. Castro is virulently anti-Israel, has expressed anti-Christian sentiments numerous times, slandered prominent conservatives, and confronted Turning Point USA students on campus.

As confirmed by a member of the TPUSA chapter at Texas A&amp;M, Castro approached and immediately began arguing with them while they were tabling at the Memorial Student Center (MSC). Posting about the event later, he stated that TPUSA students should have no place at a university and even joked in a reply to a comment that they should be sent to the gulag for “re-education.”

Castro, among other protestors at Texas A&amp;M University, advocated for the removal of a statue of Sullivan Ross, a Confederate General and former President of the university. When <a href="http://www.thebatt.com/news/protesters-voice-their-opinions-for-and-against-the-sul-ross-statue/article_6b24ced2-ade4-11ea-a872-875170880ccd.html">interviewed</a>, he stated that the statue represented “racism” and “exclusion.”

“Why do we want a statue that stands for racism and exclusion and hatred? Statues are just artifacts, they are not history...History is in the library. If you really want to know the history of the Confederacy, go to the library.” 

While protesting to take down certain statues, he is also an advocate for erecting one of convicted terrorist Susan Rosenberg.

“With ups and downs, she has dedicated her life to fighting injustice. She deserves a statue.”

His most incendiary rant was reserved for July 8th. Describing Jews as “savages” and “animals,” Castro compared the modern state of Israel to apartheid-era South Africa before castigating Jews for being insufficiently aware of their persecution in the Holocaust.

“Sadistic motherf******. Racist, savage creeps. The same hatred as in South Africa in the 1980s. Animals. And if it can be more shocking, these creeps should know how it feels to be dehumanized, insulted, beaten, assassinated for religious reasons. They ought to ask their grandparents how it felt to be persecuted.”
