Gargroetzi’s research focuses on identity, power, and educational justice in the mathematical lives of children and youth. Gargroetzi received her Ph.D. from Stanford University with a dual focus on race, inequality, and language in education and in mathematics education.

Dr. Vincent was Vice-President for Diversity and Community Engagement at the University of Texas-Austin. On two separate occasions, he condemned an affirmative action bake sale as "demeaning" and "deplorable". Leaving to assume the role of President of Hobart and William Smith Colleges, he later <a href="https://www.jbhe.com/2018/04/gregory-vincent-resigns-as-president-of-hobart-and-william-smith-colleges/">resigned</a> after allegations arose that he plagiarized his doctoral dissertation.

<a href="https://education.utexas.edu/faculty/jennifer_adair">Dr. Jennifer Adair</a> is an Associate Professor at the University of Texas, Austin. Dr. Adair proposed indoctrinating children as young as kindergarten in racial issues, in order to ‘prevent another Ferguson.' One proposed project involved having the students make protest signs about racial injustice or other art projects about school integration or bus boycotts. Adair and the other professors working with her drew heavily from the philosophy of radical historian Howard Zinn in their effort.

<a href="http://liberalarts.utexas.edu/history/faculty/profile.php?id=jn324">Dr. Joan Neuberger</a>, a professor at University of Texas-Austin led anti-campus carry efforts, including a petition to bar students who conceal carry from entering classrooms, in violation of Texas law. A change.org petition organized by the same group said, “WE OPPOSE GUNS IN OUR CLASSROOMS AS A DIRECT ASSAULT ON OUR FREE SPEECH RIGHTS.” Despite her proclamations about the dangers of guns, Neuberger is not actually a statistician or criminal justice professor, but a Russian history professor.

<a href="http://www.utexas.edu/cola/rs/faculty/profile.php?id=jt27">Dr. John Traphagan</a> is a Professor of Religious Studies at the University of Texas, Austin. A Campus Reform article states, "In a column for the Dallas Morning News, University of Texas at Austin professor John Traphagan said Americans are 'unable to handle' gun ownership. According to Traphagan, the U.S. should curtail or eliminate the ability to purchase guns and 'prohibit many forms of gun ownership.'"

<a href="http://journalism.utexas.edu/faculty/robert-jensen">Dr. Robert Jensen</a> is a Professor of Journalism at the University of Texas, Austin. In an essay on a social justice website, Jensen argued that rape is part of the larger violent, patriarchy. He told Campus Reform that, “I don’t believe there will be any serious progress toward eliminating men’s violence against women if we do not address the toxic notions about masculinity in patriarchy—masculinity understood as rooted in control, conquest, aggression.” Jensen also attacked a major anti-sexual assault group for blaming the perpetrators for rape, instead of focusing on the patriarchal culture as the main cause.

<a href="https://liberalarts.utexas.edu/english/faculty/sas347">Snehal Shingavi</a> is an Associate Professor of English at the University of Texas, Austin.

While teaching at the University of California, Berkeley, Shingavi co-founded the anti-Israel group <a href="https://canarymission.org/organization/sjp">Students for Justice in Palestine</a> (SJP) with Professor Hatem Bazian.  SJP is known for its vitriolic campaigns and aggressively confronting Jewish and pro-Israel students on campus. They are also known for their active role in Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) campaigns on university campuses.

Snehal first generated controversy at UC Berkeley in 2002 for his <a href="https://www.meforum.org/campus-watch/7789/hardball-interview-with-snehal-shingavi">course</a>, "The Politics and Poetics of Palestinian Resistance." The course description alleged that Israel has “systematically displaced, killed and maimed millions of Palestinian people.”

The course also all, but outright barred conservative students from attending: “This class takes as its starting point the right of Palestinians to fight for their own self-determination. Conservative thinkers are encouraged to seek other sections.”

Now teaching at UT Austin, <a href="https://canarymission.org/professor/Snehal_Shingavi">Shehal</a> is a regular at protests and events committed to demonizing Israel. During a 2014 lecture, he <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rAGtcdPL244&amp;feature=youtu.be&amp;t=13m15s">likened</a> Israel to Nazi Germany, claiming, “This is not me being hyperbolic…..Gaza is the biggest open air concentration camp in the world today and the condition of life in Gaza is not dissimilar to life in Auschwitz and Dachau.”

Thomas K. Hubbard was the James R. Dougherty Jr. Centennial Professor of Classics, <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20190905194331/https://minio.la.utexas.edu/colaweb-prod/person_files/0/354/thomas_k_hubbard_curriculum_vitae.pdf">who taught at the University of Texas-Austin from 1988 t0 2021</a>. Hubbard’s body of research included ancient pederasty – adult male sexual relations with underage boys  – which Hubbard calls the “<a href="https://www.dallasnews.com/news/politics/2019/12/17/ut-students-protest-professors-house-over-his-writings-on-sexual-relations-between-men-and-boys/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">romantic courtship</a>” of teenage boys by older men.

Writing in the peer-reviewed Thymos Journal of Boyhood Studies, Hubbard detailed this position in an article titled, <a href="https://www.researchgate.net/publication/276216200_Sexual_Consent_and_the_Adolescent_Male_or_What_Can_We_Learn_from_the_Greeks" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Sexual Consent and the Adolescent Male, or What Can We Learn From the Greeks</a>. Hubbard <a href="https://www.dallasnews.com/opinion/editorials/2019/12/18/a-ut-professor-advocates-pedophilia-why-are-we-paying-for-it/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">claims</a> that there are great benefits to relationships between older men and teenage boys by appealing to the portrayal of these relationships in Greek artworks and myths.

Hubbard also <a href="https://www.dallasnews.com/opinion/editorials/2019/12/18/a-ut-professor-advocates-pedophilia-why-are-we-paying-for-it/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">states</a> that sexual relationships between teenage boys and adult men can replace the lack of intimacy that a boy might experience if the young man has an absent father.

Hubbard utilizes his research on pederasty to buoy his advocacy for lowering the federal legal age for sexual consent. Hubbard also <a href="https://www.dallasnews.com/news/politics/2019/12/17/ut-students-protest-professors-house-over-his-writings-on-sexual-relations-between-men-and-boys/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">decries age-of-consent laws</a>, calling them a “sad by-product” of the Victorian era that prevented sexual liberation.

Hubbard made the distinction, in a <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20200216112913if_/https://docs.google.com/document/d/1wGGrODNSdwudrF1G4uerU2DsRxcSx3DR1Nbn6JOd7ho/edit" target="_blank" rel="noopener">now-deleted google document</a>, that he was speaking on behalf of pederasty and not pedophilia. He continues in the Doc by extolling several nations for having age-of-consent laws that were lower than the United States.

Hubbard’s work has been distributed and used by <a href="https://www.dallasnews.com/news/politics/2019/12/17/ut-students-protest-professors-house-over-his-writings-on-sexual-relations-between-men-and-boys/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">groups like the North American Man/Boy Love Association</a> (NAMBLA), which advocates for the abolishment of age-of-consent laws between children and adults.

The University of Texas-Austin’s administration reaffirmed Hibbard’s right to <a href="https://www.thedailybeast.com/students-want-thomas-hubbard-fired-for-work-on-pederasty-but-university-of-texas-says-its-protected-speech" target="_blank" rel="noopener">“explore controversial and offensive ideas</a>.” As of December 2020, <a href="https://www.statesman.com/story/news/education/2020/07/23/ut-professor-accused-of-promoting-pedophilia-sues-student-for-libel/42515639/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Hubbard is suing a student and 10 others for libel</a> after they distributed flyers labeling him a pedophile.
UPDATE 
A university spokeswoman has informed the Professor Watchlist team that Thomas Hubbard is no longer employed at the University of Texas. As stated in their response, Dr. Hubbard announced his retirement in July of 2021 and is no longer associated with the University in any capacity.

Despite their written statement, <a href="https://cola.utexas.edu/european_studies/people/faculty/thubbard">Dr. Hubbard was still listed on the university website</a> as a professor in the Center for European Studies at the time of the university's letter

In a follow-up conversation with the university spokeswomen, Dr. Hubbard's profile was removed from the European Studies page and he is no longer listed as a faculty member with the University as of December 15th, 2021.

John O. Brennan is a <a href="https://intelligencestudies.utexas.edu/about/leadership" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Distinguished Scholar</a> and <a href="https://www.strausscenter.org/person/john-o-brennan/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Senior Advisor to the Intelligence Studies Project</a> at the <a href="https://www.utexas.edu/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">University of Texas-Austin</a>. Brennan also serves as a <a href="https://www.centeronnationalsecurity.org/fellows#john-o-brennan" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Distinguished Fellow for Global Security</a> for the Center on National Security at <a href="https://www.fordham.edu/site/index.php" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Fordham University</a>.

Prior to both roles, Brennan served as the <a href="https://www.britannica.com/biography/John-Brennan" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Director of The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) </a>from 2013 to 2017. His service and post-CIA career have been marred with controversies, including allegations of spying on political opponents, overseas clandestine operations, and incendiary comments towards conservatives and libertarians.

In 2014, the CIA was <a href="https://www.npr.org/sections/itsallpolitics/2014/03/11/289085076/feinsteins-cia-outrage-splits-senate" target="_blank" rel="noopener">accused by California Senator Dianne Feinstein of illegally accessing the computers of Senate staffers</a> investigating the use of “enhanced interrogation” against detainees. <a href="https://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics/2014/03/brennan-denies-claims-cia-hacked-senate-computers" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Brennan initially denied the allegations</a>, stating that, “Nothing could be further from the truth.” Brennan was later forced to apologize when an Inspector General report found that <a href="https://thehill.com/policy/technology/213933-cia-admits-to-wrongly-hacking-into-senate-computers" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Senate computers were in fact “hacked” by CIA officials</a>.

Brennan has been accused of arming radical Islamists during the Syrian Civil War. As The American Conservative documents, <a href="https://www.theamericanconservative.com/articles/how-america-armed-terrorists-in-syria/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The CIA—under Brennan's direction—played a significant role in supplying deadly weapons to al-Qaeda affiliates</a> in an attempt to topple the Syrian dictator Bashar Al-Assad.

In his final years as CIA director, Brennan played a prominent role in what later became known as “Russiagate.” During the 2016 general election, intelligence agencies attempted to determine whether or not then-presidential candidate Donald Trump coordinated with the Russian Government to <a href="https://thehill.com/policy/cybersecurity/288883-wikileaks-posts-20000-dnc-emails" target="_blank" rel="noopener">hack and release sensitive emails from the Democratic National Committee</a>. Special Counsel Robert Mueller later found that there was <a href="https://www.dw.com/en/mueller-report-found-no-evidence-of-trump-russia-collusion-justice-dept/a-48046468" target="_blank" rel="noopener">no evidence of any coordination between the Trump Campaign and the Russian Government</a>.

While investigating Trump, John Brennan relied on allegations in what became known as the “Steele Dossier”— <a href="https://www.npr.org/2017/08/23/545289362/researcher-behind-unverified-trump-dossier-meets-senate-investigators" target="_blank" rel="noopener">a series of salacious allegations and potentially compromising information against Donald Trump</a> — compiled by British Intelligence agent Christopher Steele. The <a href="https://www.nationalreview.com/2020/09/steeles-dossier-source-was-a-suspected-russian-spy/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">source for the dossier was later found to be a suspected Russian Spy,</a> who likely <a href="https://thehill.com/opinion/white-house/453384-fbis-spreadsheet-puts-a-stake-through-the-heart-of-steeles-dossier" target="_blank" rel="noopener">exaggerated or falsified his information</a>.

Despite <a href="https://thehill.com/opinion/white-house/442944-fbis-steele-story-falls-apart-false-intel-and-media-contacts-were-flagged" target="_blank" rel="noopener">agents flagging the information as false</a>, the Steele Dossier was later used as the basis to <a href="https://thefederalist.com/2019/12/09/ig-report-confirms-no-fisa-warrant-on-carter-page-without-steele-dossier/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">obtain warrants to surveil members of the Trump campaign</a>. Initially pushing to include the information, <a href="https://thefederalist.com/2019/12/09/brennan-lied-about-not-including-steele-dossier-in-intelligence-community-assessment-on-2016-russian-election-interference/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Brennan later lied under congressional oath, stating he did not include the Steele Dossier in intelligence briefings</a>.

Declassified, handwritten notes from Brennan further show that he assisted in <a href="https://news.yahoo.com/dni-releases-cia-documents-hillary-204337457.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">efforts to tie the Trump campaign to Russia</a> to benefit the Hillary Clinton campaign. This is consistent with testimony accusing <a href="https://www.breitbart.com/national-security/2020/05/12/fox-news-john-brennan-russia-hillary-clinton/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Brennan of suppressing intelligence that the Russian Government wanted Hillary Clinton to win</a> the 2016 presidential election.

Brennan continued to publically attack President Trump after the 2016 election, accusing <a href="https://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2018/08/19/brennan_on_sunday_i_stand_by_accusing_president_trump_of_treason.html#!" target="_blank" rel="noopener">him of “treason” against the United States on behalf of Russia</a>. Brennan <a href="https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2017/05/25/ex-cia-director-john-brennan-ive-seen-no-evidence-collusion-russia/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">admits that he has seen no evidence that Donald Trump colluded</a> with the Russian government to win the 2016 election.

Following the Capital Hill riots, John Brennan <a href="https://twitter.com/tomselliott/status/1352007118392582148?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1352007118392582148%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&amp;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwearechange.org%2Feven-libertarians-john-brennan-issues-list-of-ideologies-biden-intel-community-should-go-after%2F" target="_blank" rel="noopener">has described libertarians as terrorists and white supremacists</a>.

On his personal Twitter account, Brennan demands that conservatives need to publically recant their support of Donald Trump and admit that it was wrong to support the President of the United States.

In an interview with MSNBC, Brennan <a href="https://www.msnbc.com/deadline-white-house/watch/fmr-cia-dir-brennan-republicans-will-continue-to-gaslight-the-country-101798469719" target="_blank" rel="noopener">remarks</a> that many conservatives make him “embarrassed to be a white man.”

Brennan has admitted in the past that he voted for the Communist Party in past elections. According to CNN, Brennan <a href="https://www.cnn.com/2016/09/15/politics/john-brennan-cia-communist-vote/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">recounts</a> that he admitted to voting for the Communist Party Candidate, Gus Hall, in the 1976 general election. Brennan is reported <a href="https://www.cnn.com/2016/09/15/politics/john-brennan-cia-communist-vote/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">stating</a> that voting for Hall was his way of “signaling his unhappiness of the system.”

As The Spectator <a href="https://spectator.org/john-brennans-president-remembering-comrade-gus-hall/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">documents</a>, Gus Hall was a four-time presidential candidate and leader of the Communist Party USA (CPUSA). Throughout his career, Hall defended atrocities committed by the Soviet Union while secretly receiving tens of millions of dollars from the Kremlin.

The Professor Watchlist Team reached out to the Intelligence Studies Project at the University of Texas for comment but has not received a response by the time of publication.

Dr. Kevin Cokley is the <a href="https://education.utexas.edu/faculty/kevin_cokley" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Department Chair of the Department of Educational Psychology</a> as well as a Professor of African American Diaspora Studies and Professor of Educational Psychology at the University of Texas - Austin. He is a Distinguished Teaching Professor and is published in many outlets, including Journal of Black Psychology, The Huffington Post, and The Hill. Dr. Cokley has taught many courses, some of which are Psychology of African American Experience and Multicultural Counseling.

Dr. Cokley is very openly pro-critical race theory. <a href="https://www.courierpress.com/story/opinion/2021/07/15/viewpoint-teaching-critical-race-theory-patriotic-not-anti-american/7982099002/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">In an opinion piece for Courier &amp; Press</a>, Dr. Cokley claims that critical race theory is actually patriotic. He accuses conservatives of pushing a false narrative about critical race theory by claiming it’s “divisive, hostile, and anti-American… and teaches kids to hate each other” which is a “politicized misrepresentation.”

Later in the article, Dr. Cokley makes the claim that the first line of the U.S. Constitution, “We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union…” suggests that even our founders believed America is a work-in progress. According to him, critical race theory reminds us that this is still very true.

Dr. Cokley <a href="https://redstate.com/alexparker/2021/07/09/usa-today-runs-pro-critical-race-theory-piece-professor-says-crts-not-divisive-or-anti-american-n408847" target="_blank" rel="noopener">defines critical race theory</a> as an idea “which posits that racism is not simply acts of individual bias or prejudice, but rather is embedded in institutions, policies and legal systems.” While he states he has never explicitly taught critical race theory, he does teach ideas consistent with critical race theory by providing students with examples of how Black inferiority and racism are deeply woven into modern school practices. He asserts that conservatives who are against critical race theory are wanting to prevent any type of discussion around racism or putting America in a negative light. Dr. Cokley argues that there is nothing anti-American about acknowledging the fact that racism is woven into the fabric of the United States.

In June of 2021, Dr. Cokley appeared on a <a href="https://www.fox7austin.com/video/690219" target="_blank" rel="noopener">segment for Fox 7 News Austin</a> discussing racial injustices. The video shows violent riots after the death of George Floyd while Dr. Cokley justifies this behavior because of racial injustice in America. <a href="https://lsa.umich.edu/history/people/faculty/jrcole.html">Dr. Juan Cole</a> is a Professor of History at the University of Michigan. He believes right-wing Jews and an “Islamophobic network” were “a key influence” to the shooting that killed nine people at Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston, S.C. He has also argued that recognizing Israel as a state is racist.

<a href="https://lsa.umich.edu/stats/people/faculty/fink.html">Nadiya Fink</a> is a statistics lecturer at University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. After a conservative activist satirically changed his preferred pronoun to "His Majesty", Fink threatened to punish any student who mocked the preferred pronoun system.

<a href="https://lsa.umich.edu/comm/people/regular-faculty/sdoug.html">Dr. Susan Douglas</a>, a professor at University of Michigan, publicized her hate for Republicans in an article from In These Times. She says, “I hate Republicans. I can’t stand the thought of having to spend the next two years watching Mitch McConnell, John Boehner, Ted Cruz, Darrell Issa or any of the legions of other blowhards denying climate change, thwarting immigration reform or championing fetal ‘personhood.’”

Charles H.F. Davis is an Assistant Professor at the Center for the Study of Higher and Postsecondary Education at the University of Michigan. He previously taught at the University of Southern California. According to his university biography, Davis’s research and teaching focuses on, “race and racism, systems of oppression, and structures of domination in U.S. higher education and its social contexts.”

Davis previously rose to notoriety in 2017 for a series of <a href="https://twitter.com/hfdavis?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Eauthor">racially inflammatory tweets</a>. As reported by <a href="https://www.thecollegefix.com/usc-professor-defends-tweet-promoting-violence-whiteness/">The College Fix</a>, he tweeted that “whiteness” must be destroyed and alluded to the necessity of violence in confronting it.

The background photo of his Twitter account at the time featured a black woman pointing a gun at a pig that clearly represents a caricature of a police officer. 

When contacted <a href="https://www.thecollegefix.com/usc-professor-defends-tweet-promoting-violence-whiteness/">The College Fix</a> over his remarks, Davis responded, “To be clear, I am decidedly against whiteness as a social and political ideology, which systematically marginalize and disenfranchise people of color from opportunities for societal advancement. In addition, I am against the institution of policing, which has historically and continuously enacted racial terror, sexual violence, and economic exploitation against racial minorities, women and LGBTQ communities, and economically disadvantaged working-class people.”

When asked if any of these tweets might make students uncomfortable, Davis <a href="http://hfdavis.com/blog/an-interview-with-a-conservative">responded</a> that any discomfort experienced by his white students is a result of their “white fragility.” 

Davis had previously advocated for the right of students to disrupt conservative speakers on campus. In the wake of <a href="https://badgerherald.com/news/2016/11/17/conservative-pundit-ben-shapiro-lectures-to-turbulent-crowd-on-safe-spaces-freedom-of-speech/">protesters heckling</a> Ben Shapiro’s lecture at the University of Wisconsin Madison, school regents approved a <a href="https://www.chicagotribune.com/nation-world/ct-university-of-wisconsin-protest-punishment-20171006-story.html">policy</a> to suspend or expel students that purposefully disrupt events. Davis’s subsequent <a href="https://www.chicagotribune.com/nation-world/ct-university-of-wisconsin-protest-punishment-20171006-story.html">op-ed</a> at Inside Higher Ed argued that this only reinforced white supremacy: “To be clear, it is a decision that reinforces institutionalized white supremacy -- and other oppressive forms of systemic power.” Davis argues that conservative speakers like Shapiro have hijacked the First Amendment to push “white supremacist agendas.”  

Davis’s website, which is listed by the University of Michigan on his biography, <a href="https://static1.squarespace.com/static/51ab9fa0e4b06a38e604420a/t/5edaf71d1ab0434751b2e960/1591408468354/HF+Davis+%E2%80%93%C2%A0EPK.pdf">advertises </a>that he has taught the issues of “ race, racism, and systemic oppression in education and society” to over “7,000 students, educators and institutional leaders.” The <a href="http://hfdavis.com/">home page</a> of the site also features links to organizations that advocate for the Black Lives Matter movement, abolishing the police, and boycotting the nation of Israel.

<a href="https://lsa.umich.edu/ac/people/faculty/jchl.html">John Cheney-Lippold</a> is an Associate Professor at the University of Michigan whose work focuses on Internet Studies, Cultural Studies, and Algorithm Studies.

Lippold made<a href="https://www.campusreform.org/?ID=11317"> headlines</a> for his blatant discrimination against a pro-Israel student at Michigan. After agreeing to the initial request, he refused to write a letter of recommendation for her to study abroad in Israel due to his adherence to the academic boycott of the nation. In a now released email exchange, Lippold replied to the student’s request:

“As you may know, many university departments have pledged an academic boycott against Israel in support of Palestinians living in Palestine. This boycott includes writing letters of recommendations for students to study there.” 

In a<a href="https://nypost.com/2018/09/20/professor-draws-ire-after-declining-to-help-student-study-in-israel/"> statement</a> released by <a href="https://palestinelegal.org/">Palestine Legal</a>, he only proceeded to double-down and even compared Israel to Apartheid-era South Africa:

“I support the Palestinian boycott call because I am appalled at Israel’s continuing violation of Palestinian rights, and our government’s support for those violations...If a student had wanted to do a study abroad at an institution in Apartheid South Africa, I would have declined to write a letter for her as well.”

<a href="https://www.wm.edu/sites/dhp/faculty/ciccariello-maher-george.php">Dr. George Ciccariello-Maher</a> is a Visiting Scholar of Decolonizing Humanities and Modern Languages and Literatures at the College of William and Mary. He previously taught in the Department of History and Politics at Drexel University.

From the College of William and Mary's website, his work at the Decolonizing Humanities Project is <a href="https://www.wm.edu/sites/dhp/decoloniality/index.php">described</a> as exploring, “how colonization, modernity, capitalism, and, most recently, neoliberalism has displaced an array of modes of living, thinking and being.  Decoloniality reveals “the dark side of modernity” and how it is built “on the backs” of “others.”

Ciccarello first came to notoriety for his racially inflammatory statements on twitter. On Christmas of 2016, he <a href="https://www.inquirer.com/philly/news/Drexel-officials-Professor-George-Ciccariello-Mahers-White-Genocide-tweet-was-utterly-reprehensible.html">tweeted</a> out,

“All I want for Christmas is White Genocide,”

and,

“To clarify: when the whites were massacred during the Haitian Revolution, that was a  good thing indeed.”

He also tweeted out,

“Some guy gave up his first-class seat for a uniformed soldier. People are thanking him. I’m trying not to vomit or yell about Mosul.”

When Ciccariello was confronted by <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ndkvgmGIQHQ">Tucker Carlson</a> over his tweets, he only proceeded to double-down. In the following exchange, he defended the academic veracity of his tweets by claiming, “performance art is scholarship.”

Ciccariello doesn’t shy away from utilizing violence to accomplish his radical beliefs. In an op-ed for <a href="https://www.salon.com/2015/05/04/riots_work_wolf_blitzer_and_the_washington_post_completely_missed_the_real_lesson_from_baltimore/">Salon</a>, he praised the riots that had engulfed Baltimore in 2015 in an article titled “Riots Work.” He wrote, “without the threat of insurgency in the streets, no charges would ever have been brought in the murder of Freddie Gray.” Obviously not a proponent of police, Ciccariello openly <a href="https://www.salon.com/2015/04/24/we_must_disband_the_police_body_cameras_arent_enough_only_radical_change_will_stop_cops_who_kill/">advocates</a> for the abolishment of police forces, describing them as, “originally slavecatchers.”

When not calling for the disbandment of our law enforcement, Ciccariello is an ardent defender of the socialist regime in Venezuela. He regularly <a href="https://www.counterpunch.org/2013/04/12/thatcher-is-dead-long-live-chavez/">praises</a> Hugo Chavez and has bizarrely <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nhYz1owM-uA&amp;feature=youtu.be">claimed</a> that Venezuela does not have corrupt elections.

Ciccariello doesn’t shy away from violent groups as well. In order to fight white-nationalism, Ciccarello called on Americans to embrace the radical group ANTIFA in an interview with <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WTv_hqjrmi8&amp;feature=youtu.be">Democracy Now</a> following the El Paso mass shooting. Although committed by a stated white nationalist, in the same interview Ciccariello placed the blame on Donald Trump for the deaths, claiming that his rhetoric on immigrants inspired the shooter’s rampage.  Ciccariello made similar accusations in a prior <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WTv_hqjrmi8&amp;feature=youtu.be">interview</a> about the Texas Church Massacre, alluding that “whiteness” and Trump’s stoking of white victimhood was to blame for the murders.

In prior articles, Dr. Zach Furness alleges that white supremacy forms the basis for conservative and right-wing politics:
“As it stands, discourse about Antisemitism in the US has been wrongly framed by conservatives as a leftist phenomenon tethered to criticisms of Israel, rather than seeing it for what it truly is: a white supremacist ideology that forms the basis for right-wing politics, though it is not unique to it.” 
The article—<a href="https://thebattleground.eu/2020/07/15/african-americans-and-jews/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">authored for “The Battleground &#8221;</a>—is a defense of the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement against charges of racism and antisemitism. Dr. Furness urges Jews and white people—or “white Jews in particular”—to stand in solidarity with BLM as the accusations are a nefarious attempt by conservatives to frame all black Americans as a threat to their safety.
As Dr. Furness wrote this article, <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/us/george-floyd-cities-brace-riots-national-guard-troops-mobilize" target="_blank" rel="noopener">riots had broken out across the country</a>—many led by BLM activists—in protest of the death of George Floyd.
According to a <a href="https://thefederalist.com/2020/09/16/study-up-to-95-percent-of-2020-u-s-riots-are-linked-to-black-lives-matter/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">study conducted by the Armed Conflict Location and Event Data Project (ACLED)</a>, BLM can be linked to 95% of the riots around the country in the summer months of 2020 following the death of George Floyd. In an analysis of the study, <a href="https://thefederalist.com/2020/09/16/study-up-to-95-percent-of-2020-u-s-riots-are-linked-to-black-lives-matter/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Federalist</a> found that “of the 633 incidents coded as riots, 88 percent are recorded as involving Black Lives Matter activists.” The resulting riots were the largest in American history, <a href="https://fee.org/articles/george-floyd-riots-caused-record-setting-2-billion-in-damage-new-report-says-here-s-why-the-true-cost-is-even-higher/#:~:text=Only%20now%20are%20we%20beginning,%241%20billion%20to%20%242%20billion." target="_blank" rel="noopener">causing an estimated $2 billion in damages and 47 deaths.</a>
At one BLM protest in Philadelphia, a video emerged of <a href="https://nypost.com/2020/10/29/blm-mob-violently-chases-jewish-men-at-philadelphia-protest/">Jews being forcibly removed by demonstrators</a>. A <a href="https://www.breitbart.com/crime/2020/08/27/kenosha-rioters-vandalize-synagogue-free-palestine-church-blm/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">synagogue in Wisconsin was defaced in another protest</a> that summer. The founder of BLM—Patrisse Cullors—calls for the <a href="https://nypost.com/2021/05/30/blm-co-founder-called-to-end-imperialist-project-of-israel/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">complete dismantlement of the state of Israel</a>.
During one protest, BLM <a href="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8704827/Anti-racism-protester-struck-CAR-Rochester.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">rioters began assaulting diners at a restaurant while yelling, “F*** the white people!”</a> Another BLM leader has <a href="https://www.westernjournal.com/blm-leader-exposed-called-whites-sub-human-genetically-defective-said-blacks-superhumans/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">referred to white people as “genetically defective</a>.”

Knijnenburg made headlines after taking to his Facebook where he unleashed a barrage of insults aimed at Republicans and the GOP. As of the time of this article being written, the school still has refused to comment on the posts. On his website, Knijnenburg says that he uses his research to try to understand the psychological principles behind online decisions such as "Should I post this on Facebook or not?" A <a href="https://news.stanford.edu/news/1998/july29/kelley729.html">self-described</a> “Marxist&#8221; and &#8220;surrealist feminist,” Kelley wrote an article for the <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2020/06/18/opinion/george-floyd-protests-looting.html">New York Times</a> in which he excused the riots and looting following George Floyd’s death, as it pails in comparison to the &#8220;looting&#8221; that America was founded upon.
Although attempting to frame right-wing rioters as the REAL culprits behind the rampant destruction, Kelley attempts to excuse looting by claiming the real disaster is racism afflicted upon minorities in America, and chastises Americans’ concern over the rioting. He asks, &#8220;What kind of society values property over black life?&#8221;

Zasloff was caught on social media in January of 2015 stating that Republicans were catering to their KKK core of old, angry, white Southern men with reactionary views on race.

<a href="https://law.ucla.edu/faculty/faculty-profiles/kimberle-w-crenshaw">Dr. Kimberlé Crenshaw</a> is a Professor of Law and the Promise Institute Chair in Human Rights at the <a href="https://www.ucla.edu/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA)</a>. She also teaches law as a professor at the <a href="https://www.law.columbia.edu/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Columbia School of Law</a>.

Dr. Crenshaw is best recognized as a founding scholar of critical race theory and intersectionality. She has continued to make significant contributions to each field throughout her career. Both concepts have been widely adopted by the radical left as the basis for their activism and movements.

Dr. Crenshaw <a href="https://www.jstor.org/stable/1229039?read-now=1&amp;refreqid=excelsior%3Ad80f43d375e3f40179924f768317a237&amp;seq=1#page_scan_tab_contents" target="_blank" rel="noopener">first defined intersectionality in a landmark paper published for the Stanford Law Review, titled, “Mapping the Margins.</a>” In it, she praises identity politics as necessary to the lived experiences of American minorities.

However, Dr. Crenshaw then comments that identity politics does not go nearly far enough, countering that intersectionality is needed to successfully combat what she alleges is the systemic oppression minorities face in America.

Intersectionality is used by activists and academics to depict racial and sexual oppression as interconnected amongst various minority groups. For example in “Mapping the Margins,” Dr. Crenshaw claims that a black woman would suffer from both systemic racism and sexism in America. She further characterizes the theory as the link between <a href="https://newdiscourses.com/2021/03/forging-woke-one-ring-kimberle-crenshaws-mapping-margins/">contemporary politics and postmodernism</a>. Academic James Lindsay describes <a href="https://newdiscourses.com/2021/03/forging-woke-one-ring-kimberle-crenshaws-mapping-margins/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">intersectionality as the “birthplace of wokeness.”</a>

Much of intersectionality’s academic framework was used by Dr. Crenshaw to develop concepts of critical race theory. She drew additional inspiration from <a href="https://www.theguardian.com/society/2020/nov/12/kimberle-crenshaw-the-woman-who-revolutionised-feminism-and-landed-at-the-heart-of-the-culture-wars" target="_blank" rel="noopener">critical legal studies, which, like critical race theory, posits that no American law can truly be neutral or impartial.</a>

Ben Shapiro defines critical race theory—also referred to as critical theory—in an article for Breitbart <a href="https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2012/03/11/what-is-critical-race-theory/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">as an intellectual branch of Marxism that alleges American society and all of its founding institutions are infected with white supremacy</a>. Furthermore, proponents of critical race theory believe that people should take proactive steps to dismantle these institutions in the name of equity, which is also referred to as being “anti-racist.”

Dr. Crenshaw herself further defined the concept in an appearance on MSNBC in July of 2021, She characterized her theory as a method to understand how racial inequality is produced—or acts as a “conduit”—from laws, institutions, and historical oppression, all of which are referenced interchangeably with white supremacy. One such institution that Dr. Crenshaw targets are police departments and policing as a whole. In a <a href="https://mobile.twitter.com/sandylocks/status/1306271685625049089?lang=en" target="_blank" rel="noopener">tweet from September 2020</a>, she demanded that all police departments be defunded, a move deemed necessary for the full dismantlement of “white nationalism.”

Crenshaw’s work and activism have been instrumental to school districts adopting critical race theory into their curriculums. One district in Illinois allegedly <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/lawsuit-illinois-school-district-forced-students-on-privilege-walks-compared-whiteness-to-the-devil" target="_blank" rel="noopener">segregated students by race during a “privilege walk</a>” and compared “whiteness” to the devil during class lessons. Another school district in Buffalo, New York taught students that<a href="https://www.city-journal.org/buffalo-public-schools-critical-race-theory-curriculum" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> America is, “built on racism,” and all Americans, “have an implicit racial bias.</a>”

Dr. Crensaw’s work has spawned other prominent critical race theorists like Dr. Nikole Hannah-Jones, author of the 1619 Project. She has described <a href="https://news.columbia.edu/news/what-does-intersectionality-mean-2021-kimberle-crenshaws-podcast-must-listen-way-learn" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Dr. Jones work as “phenomenal” to the rethinking of the American founding</a>.

Dr. Jones <a href="https://reason.com/2020/09/23/1619-project-nikole-hannah-jones-1776-founding-race-new-york-times/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">claims</a> that America’s real founding was in 1619 when the first slave stepped foot in North America, and not 1776 when the American colonies declared independence from England. <a href="https://nypost.com/2020/03/14/new-york-times-corrects-the-1619-project-but-its-still-a-giant-lie/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Though now retracted for numerous false claims</a>, the documents have now been <a href="https://dc.medill.northwestern.edu/blog/2020/07/21/the-1619-project-curriculum-taught-in-over-4500-schools-frederick-county-public-schools-has-the-option/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">added to the curriculum of 4,500 schools across the country</a>.

<a href="https://equity.ucla.edu/who-we-are/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Mr. Johnathan Perkins</a> is the Director of Race and Equity for the Office of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion at the University of California - Los Angeles.

In a series of tweets—<a href="https://thepostmillennial.com/uclas-race-and-equity-officer-who-wished-death-upon-clarence-thomas-once-admitted-to-staging-a-race-hoax" target="_blank" rel="noopener">first highlighted by the Post Millennial</a>—Mr. Perkins attacks Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and his wife, Ginni Thomas, writing that he hopes Mr. Thomas dies in the hospital and accuses Mrs. Thomas of treason.

At the time, <a href="https://news.yahoo.com/justice-clarence-thomas-hospital-supreme-151322076.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Clarence Thomas had been hospitalized for the flu</a>. The accusation directed at Ginni Thomas refers to her involvement in <a href="https://nypost.com/2022/03/28/jan-6-committee-likely-to-request-ginni-thomas-testimony/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">voter integrity protests surrounding the 2020 general election</a>.

In the tweet, Mr. Perkins refers to Clarence Thomas as “Uncle Thomas.” The phrase is a racial slur used to accuse black people of selling out their race to white people.

Mr. Perkins is no stranger to racially-incendiary remarks. On his <a href="https://johnathansperkins.com/blog" target="_blank" rel="noopener">personal blog, he writes about white privilege, systemic racism, and antiracist work</a> on a frequent basis.

In one article, he berates the <a href="https://johnathansperkins.com/blog/2020/10/1/an-open-letter-to-my-white-extended-family-ahead-of-november-3rd" target="_blank" rel="noopener">conservative, white members of his family in an open letter posted prior to the 2020 general election</a>. He demands to know who plans to vote for a president who “incites white supremacist violence against black people” and vows to never associate with that family member again:

“If you, or any of your immediate family (spouses, children, children-in-law) are planning to vote for Donald Trump on November 3, I ask that you please contact me to discuss before that date. I hope that I never again have the unfortunate experience of discovering that someone in my own family has voted for a president who continues to incite white supremacist violence against Black people, violence and hate against the LGBTQ+ community, hatred and misogyny against women, and violent racist xenophobia against brown immigrants.

If, once again, we affected family members are forced to cope with this trauma, I regret that I, personally, will no longer be able to associate with the family member/voter in question. I will not attend family events where that member is present and will call out said family loudly whenever we interact from now on. I will no longer ignore the fact that my family members voted for all these things, against my humanity.“

<a href="https://johnathansperkins.com/blog/2020/2/27/white-privilege-a-euphemism-for-white-supremacy" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Another post defines white privilege</a> as “the idea that white people enjoy a particular set of benefits, simply by virtue of their whiteness (despite the harmful costs).” Mr. Perkins further writes that this privilege is a “manifestation of white supremacy” and many white people may be regarded as virulently racist as a Klansman.

“I need to make something abundantly clear: white supremacy, like most harmful social constructs, exists on a spectrum. The Beverly Hills middle school English teacher who, intentionally or otherwise, does not include literature by black authors in her curriculum, is operating within the same fundamental system of beliefs, the same structure, as the Mississippi Klansman: whiteness as supreme, which by definition does not acknowledge blackness, which necessarily degrades it.“

In one article—published during ongoing riots in the summer of 2020—Dr. Perkins <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20220328223757/https://johnathansperkins.com/blog/2020/5/31/dont-talk-to-me-about-looting-an-open-letter" target="_blank" rel="noopener">excoriates white people who might hold concerns about the continuous rioting and looting</a> that was occurring in cities across the country. Describing white people as the “original looters of this country,” he writes that America had been founded on looting and violence, and no meaningful civil rights movements can, or would take place without riots:

“America is the original looter. White people are the original looters in this country. The original colonizers looted the indigenous people of this land damn-near completely to death. The original colonizers stole us from our homes, brought us to this place, and continued to loot and terrorize us for the last 400 years.

Violence has been the American way since its inception. Looting and pillaging is as American as apple pie. You think the so-called Boston Tea Party was a party? It was a riot.

No meaningful civil rights advancement has taken place in this country without riots. I personally choose to never carry out or even promote violence. But police violence, government violence, is the only thing Black people have ever known in America.” 

The BLM-inspired riots were the largest in American history, <a href="https://fee.org/articles/george-floyd-riots-caused-record-setting-2-billion-in-damage-new-report-says-here-s-why-the-true-cost-is-even-higher/#:~:text=Only%20now%20are%20we%20beginning,%241%20billion%20to%20%242%20billion." target="_blank" rel="noopener">causing an estimated $2 billion in damages and 47 deaths.</a>

Mr. Perkins <a href="https://www.thecollegefix.com/campus-hate-crime-hoaxes-a-best-of-list/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">previously staged a race hoax while attending the University of Virginia.</a> He alleged that two police officers racially profiled him frisked him, and mocked him during detention. Although <a href="https://www.facebook.com/notes/964739540685101/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">later admitting that he fabricated the incident</a>, he now maintains the <a href="https://johnathansperkins.com/blog/2019/2/24/7-points-to-consider-about-the-jussie-smollett-ordeal-from-someone-whos-been-there" target="_blank" rel="noopener">FBI pressured him to recant his story</a>.

In his role at UCLA, Mr. Perkins describes himself as a “<a href="https://johnathansperkins.com/blog/2019/8/17/g2t7llr5oviffi0gq4do7cqr2bn1k4" target="_blank" rel="noopener">full-time professional practitioner of anti-racism”</a> who is dedicated to dismantling white supremacy. <a href="https://equity.ucla.edu/edi-ucla/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">According to its website, the purpose of The Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion</a> itself is based on the <a href="https://www.un.org/en/udhrbook/pdf/udhr_booklet_en_web.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">UN Declaration of Human Rights</a>.

Anti-Law Enforcement
On a number of accusations, Clover has openly called for violence against police officers. Not only is science rooted in racism, she alleges; it has been used to perpetuate racism and colonial practices.

<a href="https://english.ucdavis.edu/people/jclover">Joshua Clover</a> is a professor of English at the University of California, Davis, and specializes in “<a href="https://english.ucdavis.edu/people/jclover">critical theory, Marxism, political theory, political economy, poetry, and poetics</a>.”
Anti-Israel
A signatory to the <a href="https://usacbi.org/endorsers/">US Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel</a>, Clover has compared Israel to Nazi Germany and <a href="https://popula.com/2018/12/05/from-the-river-to-the-sea/">described it as an “eliminationist ethnostate</a>.” A self-described communist, Clover has cited his world view as justification for the destruction of Israel as a state.

Anti-Law Enforcement
On a number of accusations, Clover has openly called for violence against police officers. In 2020, he <a href="https://www.motherjones.com/crime-justice/2020/06/riots-arent-irrational/">praised rioters</a> for burning police stations, stating that law enforcement’s role is to protect private property and is, therefore “fundamentally anti-black.”
“...the police role in making sure property stays property is fundamentally anti-black, fundamentally white supremacist, and the same time that it’s fundamentally in defense of capital.” 
“Ten days ago, there were 330 million Americans who did not know a single thing; they didn’t know that you could sack a police station...People recognize the police are the source of  their unfreedom, and they fight back against them.”  
Clover was <a href="https://sacramento.cbslocal.com/2019/02/26/uc-davis-professor-joshua-clover-cops-killed/">condemned</a> after past tweets and statements in a 2015 <a href="https://archives.sfweekly.com/exhibitionist/2015/09/17/the-write-stuff-joshua-clover-on-wearing-intense-knowledge-lightly-and-changing-quickly">San Francisco Weekly</a> interview advocating for the murder of police officers.

These claims, based on the number of attacks rather than the number of casualties, were made during Kearn&#8217;s previous employment at American University. Kearns states that &#8220;only about 12 percent of terrorist attacks in the U.S. have been committed by Muslims&#8221;. After obtaining the audio files The College Fix conducted a study that did verify her statement but also shows that right-wing terrorism is responsible for less than half of the fatalities.

<a href="https://cola.unh.edu/person/david-finkelhor" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Dr. David Finkelhor</a> is a Professor of sociology at the University of New Hampshire. <a href="https://www.unh.edu/ccrc/person/david-finkelhor" target="_blank" rel="noopener">According to his university profile</a>, he is the Director of the Crimes against Children Research Center and co-Director of the Family Research Laboratory. Dr. Finkelhor is known for his research into child sexual abuse and related topics.
Dr. Finkelhor lectures on a wide variety of subjects such as “<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PpangX4UaO4" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Sexual Abuse Prevention</a>,” “<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XsoYh5WF2Yc" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Developmental Victimology</a>,” and more. He also participates in a variety of <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G-fViw7Uuxs" target="_blank" rel="noopener">child sexual abuse conferences</a>.
On March 23, 2022 Dr. Finkelhor participated in a webinar discussing the “<a href="https://twitter.com/libsoftiktok/status/1515916310814859264" target="_blank" rel="noopener">elements of voluntary participation</a>” by juveniles involved in sex crimes; saying that when trying to prevent sex crimes against children, it is key to realize that in some cases, it is the children themselves that are “initiating sexual activities with adults.” Dr. Finkelhor also suggested that he believes it is not “effective” to assume that a pedophilic relationship escalates because of a “predatory or criminally inclined adult.”

On June 25, 2020 in a webinar called “<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PpangX4UaO4" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Let&#8217;s Talk About Prevention</a>,” Finkelhor stated that “Another thing about diversity that is very important to recognize is that in spite of the stereotype, most of the adult offenders are not “pedophiles”&#8230; Many are opportunistic and situational and acting on relationships that develop, or opportunities that are made available to them.”  Dr. Finkelhor refers to “offenders” as ambivalent and stresses the importance of differentiating the labels between a pedophile and an offender.

Recently, there have been articles questioning Dr. Finkelhor&#8217;s motives on the subject. <a href="https://thepostmillennial.com/professor-says-minors-can-be-enthusiastically-involved-in-initiating-sexual-activities-with-adults" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Post Millennial</a> reports his statements, “There&#8217;s not good enough research on issues related to maturity with regard to sexual behavior that allows a clear demarcation here.”  He noted that there can be elements of voluntary participation in statutory sex crimes wherein juveniles engage in sex with adults who are at least five years older than they are. Statutory rape, he said, is “much narrower than statutory sex crimes in general.”
Dr. Finkelhor’s rating on Rate My Professor is a <a href="https://www.ratemyprofessors.com/ShowRatings.jsp?tid=142310" target="_blank" rel="noopener">2.1 out of 5</a> with a number of reviews mentioning his teaching methods as “lecture heavy” and so on.

<a href="https://paulcollege.unh.edu/person/robert-woodward">Robert Woodward</a> is a Professor Emeritus of Economics at the University of New Hampshire. Professor Woodward, according to an online schedule, usually teaches Health Economics on Tuesdays and Thursdays. However, he spent that time driving students to the polls in a car decorated with Democratic campaign posters - paid for by the Ready for Hillary Super PAC.

<a href="https://cola.unh.edu/person/robin-hackett">Dr. Robin Hackett</a> is a Professor of English and also teaches in the Women Studies program at the University of New Hampshire. She called for an investigation and expulsion of two people (possibly students) who jokingly wore a Harambe and Richard Nixon costume outside an anti-Trump event.

<a href="https://physics.unh.edu/people/faculty/chanda-prescod-weinstein" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Dr. Chanda Prescod-Weinstein</a> is an Assistant Professor in the <a href="https://physics.unh.edu/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Department of Physics and Astronomy</a> and a Core Faculty Member of the <a href="https://cola.unh.edu/womens-gender-studies" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Women’s and Gender Studies</a> Department at the <a href="https://cola.unh.edu/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">University of New Hampshire</a>.

As a member of the organization, <a href="https://www.particlesforjustice.org/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Particles for Justice</a>, Dr. Prescod-Weinstein was a primary organizer for the “Strike for Black Lives” in June of 2020.

Particles for Justice is a far-left organization composed of scientists and mathematicians who are <a href="https://www.wired.com/story/physicists-condemn-sexism-through-particles-for-justice/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">dedicated to ending what they allege as “rampant racism and sexism in STEM fields</a>.” The group was first organized in 2018 to protest a lecture by physicist Alessandro Strumia, in which he affirmed that biological differences exist between men and women.

In the Summer of 2020, Dr. Prescod-Weinstein—who identifies as a <a href="https://magazine.scienceforthepeople.org/web-extras/particles-for-justice-racial-justice/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">“black queer femme physicist”</a> and an “<a href="https://www.cprescodweinstein.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">activist for equality in science</a>”—and other scientists organized the strike among academics in solidarity with the <a href="https://m4bl.org/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Movement for Black Lives</a> (MBL), also referred to as the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement.

According to a <a href="https://thefederalist.com/2020/09/16/study-up-to-95-percent-of-2020-u-s-riots-are-linked-to-black-lives-matter/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">study conducted by the Armed Conflict Location and Event Data Project (ACLED)</a>, BLM can be linked to 95% of the riots around the country–notably in Summer 2020 following the death of George Floyd. In an analysis of the study, <a href="https://thefederalist.com/2020/09/16/study-up-to-95-percent-of-2020-u-s-riots-are-linked-to-black-lives-matter/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Federalist</a> found, “of the 633 incidents coded as riots, 88 percent are recorded as involving Black Lives Matter Activists.” The resulting riots were the largest in American history, <a href="https://fee.org/articles/george-floyd-riots-caused-record-setting-2-billion-in-damage-new-report-says-here-s-why-the-true-cost-is-even-higher/#:~:text=Only%20now%20are%20we%20beginning,%241%20billion%20to%20%242%20billion." target="_blank" rel="noopener">causing an estimated $2 billion in damages and 47 deaths.</a>

According to an official letter for the group—co-authored by Dr. Prescod-Weinstein—the organizers allege black students feel unsafe on <a href="https://www.particlesforjustice.org/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">“predominantly white campuses” and professors face “anti-blackness” in academia</a>. The organizers called for <a href="https://www.particlesforjustice.org/strike-details" target="_blank" rel="noopener">academics to cease their normal university duties and spend the day protesting or conducting “antiracist“ actions on behalf of BLM</a>. As of June 10th, 2020, the website listed 5,874 administrators and professors as having walked off their jobs during the strike.

In her own personal statement authored for the strike, Dr. Prescod-Weinstein describes her efforts organizing the strike and the ongoing national protests as <a href="https://www.particlesforjustice.org/note" target="_blank" rel="noopener">an attempt to “save her life" and “the lives of all black people.</a>” She further decries having to conform culturally and professionally to “whiteness,” and urges white people to take up anti-racist work in order to make black people feel more comfortable.

Dr. Prescod-Weinstein’s activism and views are further displayed on her <a href="https://twitter.com/IBJIYONGI" target="_blank" rel="noopener">personal Twitter account</a>. She consistently tweets condemnations of America and conservatives as racist, support for critical race theory, and accusations that Israel is committing genocide against Arabs:

In a separate paper for The University of Chicago—​​titled, “Making Black Women Scientists under White Empiricism: The Racialization of Epistemology in Physics”— Dr. Prescod-Weinstein <a href="https://www.journals.uchicago.edu/doi/full/10.1086/704991#_i5" target="_blank" rel="noopener">decries the concept of objectivity under “European ideas of science”</a> dominating her field through “colonial force.” She defines “white empiricism” as serving “white supremacist traditions in science” at the expense of black scientists.

The Professor Watchlist team reached out to Dr. Prescod-Weinstein for comment but did not receive a reply by the time of publication.

Dr. Elizabeth Kolsky is an <a href="https://www1.villanova.edu/villanova/artsci/asian/meetourfaculty.html?mail=elizabeth.kolsky@villanova.edu&amp;xsl=bio_long" target="_blank" rel="noopener">associate professor of History</a> and Director of Asian Studies at Villanova University. Her areas of interest include South Asian history, British Empire history, history of human rights, and gender studies. Dr. Kolsky has penned many publications on these subjects for various outlets ranging from The Washington Post to The Journal of Asian Studies.  She frequently writes about white supremacy in the United States, her disdain for conservatives, and underlying racism in U.S. institutions.

According to Dr. Kolsky, modern medical tools, like autopsy reports, have historically legitimized racist structures of white supremacy. She discusses colonial India, citing that whiteness “functioned as a license to kill and law and medicine provided alibis.” She believes that autopsies should be viewed while keeping in mind that white supremacy built the foundations of law and violence.

Another symbol of “white supremacy,” as claimed by Dr. Kolsky, <a href="https://www.washingtonpost.com/outlook/2020/07/03/it-is-time-reconsider-global-legacy-july-4-1776/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">is the Fourth of July</a>. In her opinion, the United States was founded on the backs of slaves, and white supremacy of the United States and Britain intertwined after the U.S. gained independence. <a href="https://directory.columbia.edu/people/uni?code=jbc2167">James Comey</a>–the former FBI director best known for directing the Russia investigation against President Trump– is now a lecturer at Columbia University <a href="https://nypost.com/2020/12/02/ex-fbi-director-james-comey-to-teach-at-columbia-law-school/">for the Spring 2021 semester</a>. Comey’s course is titled “Lawyers and Leaders.”  The <a href="https://reuben-mark.law.columbia.edu/content/reuben-mark-initiative-announces-spring-2021-leaders-residence">university’s website</a> writes that Comey’s experiences as a federal prosecutor and FBI director “represents a broadening of the Mark Initiative’s focus to include leadership of major public institutions, complementing existing offerings relating to corporations and law firms.”
In 2016 under Comey’s leadership, the FBI opened an investigation to determine whether the Trump campaign had colluded with the Russian government to defeat his opposing  Presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton. It is important to note that Special Counsel Robert Muller <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/no-collusion-attorney-general-william-barr-emily-zanotti">later determined that there was no evidence against President Trump.</a>
Much of the underlying information that formed the basis of the investigation was provided by a former-British spy, Christopher Steele– known as the “Steele Dossier.” <a href="https://www.nationalreview.com/2020/09/steeles-dossier-source-was-a-suspected-russian-spy/">Steele relied on a series of rumors from a sole source that was later determined to be a suspected Russian spy</a>. Members of Comey’s own <a href="https://thehill.com/opinion/white-house/442944-fbis-steele-story-falls-apart-false-intel-and-media-contacts-were-flagged">FBI flagged the allegations in the dossier as false and were</a> ignored. This information was eventually used to obtain surveillance warrants for individuals involved with the Trump campaign. Despite being fired by the FBI for misconduct, <a href="https://thehill.com/hilltv/rising/400810-opinion-how-a-senior-justice-official-helped-dems-on-trump-russia-case">Steele was still used as a source–with Bruce Ohr serving as his conduit to ferry information to the Bureau</a>.
Once Trump assumed office, <a href="https://thefederalist.com/2020/05/11/why-did-obama-tell-the-fbi-to-hide-its-activities-from-the-trump-administration/">Comey withheld evidence from the Trump Administration</a> about his investigation. The FBI had briefed President Trump’s campaign regarding Russian interference into the election, but failed to disclose that members of the campaign were the subject of the investigation itself.
Comey played a pivotal role in the perjury trap that resulted in the firing and prosecution of General Michael Flynn. Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates testified that <a href="https://thefederalist.com/2020/08/05/sally-yates-comey-went-rogue-in-launching-perjury-trap-on-flynn/">Comey “went rogue” in his pursuit to prosecute Flynn</a>. Sources claim that the <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/politics/fbi-official-on-mueller-team-says-flynn-prosecution-was-used-to-get-trump-says-collusion-probe-was-not-there">FBI zealously pursued the investigation of Flynn in order to get him to flip and inform on any potential crimes committed by Trump.</a>
An Inspector General’s Report later <a href="https://thefederalist.com/2020/04/02/latest-inspector-general-report-slams-comeys-fbi-for-massive-failures-to-document-fisa-claims/">excoriated Comey for the abuses that were committed under his leadership</a>. When questioned in a congressional hearing, Comey claimed that he<a href="https://thefederalist.com/2020/09/30/comey-its-not-my-job-to-make-sure-fisa-applications-are-accurate/"> bore no responsibility to ensure whether or not the information in the warrants were accurate</a> and could <a href="https://thefederalist.com/2020/10/01/supercut-james-comey-doesnt-recall-anything-about-anything/">remember little else about the investigation that he oversaw</a>.

<a href="https://journalism.columbia.edu/faculty/dale-maharidge">Dale Maharidge</a> is a Journalism Professor at Columbia University who ironically does not take well to criticism. After finding out he was under investigation on Project Veritas' "To Catch A Journalist" he reacted with a series of explicit and sophomoric rants on social media.

<a href="http://socialwork.columbia.edu/faculty/adjunct/kathy-boudin/">Dr. Kathy Boudin</a> teaches social work classes at Columbia University, despite having a lengthy criminal record. Boudin, a convicted murderer and a member of Bill Ayers' domestic terrorism group the Weather Underground, had no problem finding a job teaching at Columbia. According to The Daily Beast "In 1984, Boudin, a member of the Weather Underground, a violent, oafish association of upper-class “revolutionaries,” pled guilty to second-degree murder in association with the infamous 1981 Brinks armored car robbery in Nyack, New York. Babbling in the language of anti-racism and anti-imperialism, Boudin assisted in ending the life of three people, including Waverly Brown, the first black police officer on the Nyack police force, and left nine children fatherless. She was sentenced to 20 years to life in prison. In 2003, Boudin was released; by 2008 she had landed a coveted teaching position at an Ivy League university."

<a href="http://www.law.columbia.edu/faculty/kayum-ahmed">Professor Kayum Ahmed</a>, Columbia University Law School, filed a “discrimination and harassment complaint” against the College Republicans after they invited Tommy Robinson to speak on campus, arguing that the invitation itself was an “act of violence” against him.

<a href="https://www.northeastern.edu/law/faculty/directory/williams-p.html">Patricia Williams </a>is a Professor of Law and Humanities at Northeastern University. Williams, in an editorial for The Nation, wrote " the history of the right to bear arms is shaped by exclusionary privilege based on race and gender. It is almost exclusively white men who may “reasonably” carry firearms to protests outside Target or political conventions", although still 20% of Hispanic and African-American homes own guns according to Pew research.

<a href="https://history.columbia.edu/faculty/khalidi-rashid/">Dr. Rashid Khalidi</a>, a Professor of Modern Arab Studies at Columbia University, laced criticism of Trump's foreign policy with Anti-Semitism. Discussing Trump's position on Israel, Khalidi said "They have a vision whereby there is no such thing as the Palestinians. They have a vision whereby international law doesn’t exist. They have a vision whereby the United States can unilaterally cancel a decision of the United Nations. And unfortunately, these people infest the Trump transition team, these people are going to infest our government as of January 20th. And they are hand in glove with a similar group of people in the Israeli government and in Israeli political life who think that whatever they think can be imposed on reality."

<a href="https://palestine.mei.columbia.edu/people/hamid-dabashi">Hamid Dabashi</a> is the Hagop Kevorkian Professor of Iranian Studies and Comparative Literature at Columbia University. 

As a board member of the U.S. Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel, Dabashi is ferociously <a href="https://canarymission.org/professor/Hamid_Dabashi">anti-Israel</a>, going so far as <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2005/01/18/education/mideast-tensions-are-getting-personal-on-campus-at-columbia.html">cancelling classes</a> so that his students can attend anti-Israel rallies.

When Iranian dictator Mahmoud Ahmadinejad spoke at Columbia, Dabashi was one of his most vocal defenders against fellow professors. <a href="https://www.nysun.com/new-york/columbia-professor-calls-bollinger-white/">Writing</a> for an Egyptian newspaper, Dabashi accused Ahmadinejad’s critics of racism, claiming “the most ridiculous clichés of the neocon propaganda machinery, wrapped in the missionary position of a white racist supremacist carrying the heavy burden of civilizing the world.”

In 2018, Dabashi received criticism for a now-deleted <a href="https://www.campusreform.org/?ID=10484">Facebook post</a> in which he accused the Women’s March of being “deeply infiltrated” by “Zionists”, who want to hijack the organization to benefit Israel.

“The Woman’s (sic) March has now emerged as a major movement in the US and of course the Zionists have deeply infiltrated it the way they infiltrated the Civil rights Movement of the 1960s and sought to twist it to the advantage of Israel,”

<a href="https://polisci.columbia.edu/content/jeffrey-r-lax">Jeffery Lax</a> is a professor of Political Science at Columbia University. He also serves as Deputy Chair of Columbia's Political Science Department.

<a href="https://campusreform.org/?id=14870">In an online dispute</a> over the President of the United States, Lax publicly accosted a Columbia student online. After accusing the President of murdering Americans, Lax then attacked Gabriel Montalvo, a conservative, referring to him as “stupid” and “evil,” in posts provided by Montalvo on his <a href="https://twitter.com/Baron_Montalvo/status/1247164493748146178">twitter account</a>.

Further on, he referred to Montalvo, who is Hispanic, as a “neo-nazi” after telling him to “drop dead”. Lax called Montalvo a neo-Nazi multiple times in the exchange and even insinuated that he brandishes a swastika.

At the same event, Zenkus <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZK1DVinPg98&amp;ab_channel=TEDxTalks">attributes</a> everything from racism and brain damage in children to the inequality that he alleges is inherent in our society. In order to alleviate poverty, Zenkus calls for a “transformational distribution of wealth.”

Dr. Kendall Thomas is a <a href="https://www.law.columbia.edu/faculty/kendall-thomas" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Nash Professor of Law</a> at Columbia University. His areas of study include Family, Gender, &amp; Sexuality and Social Justice &amp; Human Rights. Dr. Thomas is the co-founder and director of the Center for the Study of Law and Culture at Columbia University, and he is co-editor of <a href="https://scholarship.law.columbia.edu/books/101/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Critical Race Theory: The Key Writings That Founded the Movement</a> with fellow Professor Watchlist professors Dr. <a href="https://professorwatchlist.org/professor/crenshaw" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Kimberlé Crenshaw</a> and Dr. <a href="https://professorwatchlist.org/professor/garypellar" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Gary Pellar</a>. In his free time, he is a professional jazz vocalist.

When Dr. Thomas isn’t teaching in the law classroom or singing jazz music, he can be found vehemently supporting critical race theory. <a href="https://www.hawaiipublicradio.org/local-news/2021-06-01/critical-race-theory-for-k-12-graders" target="_blank" rel="noopener">In a radio clip for Hawaii Public Radio</a>, Dr. Thomas discussed his beliefs about critical race theory in the classroom. In his opinion, critical race theory should be taught to children, including K-12 classrooms. He claims that the American Revolution of 1776 isn’t comprehensive of our country’s history, and we need to be teaching about the slavery that occured in 1619 to really understand this country.

During <a href="https://www.newsweek.com/what-critical-race-theory-why-do-some-want-ban-1587389" target="_blank" rel="noopener">a conversation with a journalist at Newsweek</a>, Dr. Thomas discusses critical race theory and why some are against it. Dr. Thomas alleges that conservatives and others are “over-the-top attacking” critical race theory despite having no idea what CRT actually is. He asserts that conservatives want to shut down critical race theory so they won’t “lose the national debate… about institutional racism.”

He argues that if you care about the future of our democratic republic, you need to support the teachings and learning that CRT stands for. Dr. Thomas states that critical race theory is a body of writing and method of research about the meaning of race both today and historically.

<a href="https://gca.columbia.edu/people/flores-forbes" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Mr. Flores Forbes</a> is an Associate Vice President for Community Affairs at Columbia University. Mr. Flores is a convicted murderer who served as Huey Newton’s enforcer in the Black Panther Party.

The organization was<a href="https://www.history.com/topics/civil-rights-movement/black-panthers" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> formed by black nationalists, Huey P. Newton and Bobby Seale, in 1966 as the Black Panther Party for Self-Defense.</a> The group’s early activities included monitoring police and social programs for urban communities.

<a href="http://web.stanford.edu/~ccarson/articles/am_left.htm" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The party was explicitly organized along</a> Marxist-Leninist lines. Members were <a href="https://archives.frontpagemag.com/fpm/reflections-panthers-john-perazzo/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">required to read communist texts such as Mao Zedong’s, Red Book and Che Guevara</a>. Bobby Seale was known to <a href="https://www.thedailybeast.com/whitewashing-the-black-panthers" target="_blank" rel="noopener">fondly quote Soviet Dictator, Joseph Stalin</a>.

Despite their alleged philanthropy, the Panthers used their community programs–dubbed survival programs—as a front for criminal activity. David Horowitz—who worked for the Panthers at the time—observed the Panthers' <a href="https://archives.frontpagemag.com/fpm/pbs-propaganda-machine-black-panther-killers-frontpagemagcom/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">embezzling and illegal trafficking operations based out of the Oakland Community Center.</a>

The Panthers were feared for their mob-like enforcement and brutality. Members were <a href="https://www.thedailybeast.com/whitewashing-the-black-panthers" target="_blank" rel="noopener">known to pour boiling water over suspected </a>police informants and fire-bomb the cars of journalists. Co-founder, Huey Newton, was convicted—which was later overturned by an appellate court—and spent time in prison for the murder of police officer, John Frey. He is further <a href="https://www.salon.com/1999/12/13/betty/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">suspected to have taken part in multiple murders</a> committed by the Panthers.

Known as Newton’s “internal enforcer”, Mr. Forbes carried out at least one execution on behalf of his boss. <a href="https://www.frontpagemag.com/fpm/2020/12/radical-son-frontpagemagcom/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Flores was ordered to perform a hit against Crystal Gray</a>, who had witnessed Newton murder a prostitute—Kathleen Smith—and was set to testify in his trial.

However, Mr. Forbes and the other assassins mistakenly arrived at the address of a fellow Panther, who returned fire and injured Mr. Forbes before he was killed. Following a nationwide manhunt, Mr. Forbes turned himself in, where he was convicted and spent 5 years in prison for second-degree murder.

Mr. Forbes is also suspected in the murder of Betty Van Patter. As a book-maker for the Panthers, Patter <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20160110093526/http://www.insidebayarea.com/ci_5016589" target="_blank" rel="noopener">was a first-hand witness to the organization’s criminal activity and threatened to expose the Panthers to the press</a>. After missing for five weeks, her body was recovered in the San Francisco Bay.

Although Mr. Forbes is believed by Patter’s daughter and the <a href="https://www.frontpagemag.com/fpm/2020/12/radical-son-frontpagemagcom/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">FBI to be responsible for her killing</a>, no arrests were made. Furthermore, the <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20180330211353/http://fbidocs.com/betty-van-patter" target="_blank" rel="noopener">FBI destroyed all files relating to Patter in 2009</a>, so the apparent murder will remain unsolved. The Black Panther party dissolved in 1984 and Huey Newton was murdered in 1989. Mr. Forbes went on to author a book about his time in the Panthers—titled, <a href="https://www.amazon.com/Will-You-Die-Me-Panther/dp/0743482689" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Will You Die with Me?</a>— and <a href="https://news.columbia.edu/news/cu-people-flores-forbes-urban-planner" target="_blank" rel="noopener">has worked at Columbia since 2007</a>.

<a href="https://www.tc.columbia.edu/faculty/kf2119/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Dr. Karen Froud</a> is an Associate Professor of Neuroscience and Education at the Teachers College of Columbia University in New York City.

In a letter to colleagues, Dr. Froud urged them to boycott Israel and its universities, accusing both of contributing to apartheid-like conditions in the Palestinian territories.

Her remarks were spurred by the comments of another colleague, Gerry Leisman, who asked fellow scientists to continue their reviews for his research. Dr. Talisman is a neuroscientist at the University of Haifa in Israel.

I am the guest editor of a special issue of the Journal Brain Sciences and we are producing a special issue of the journal entitled, “The Brain Goes to School, details for which can be found at the following link:

In her reply, Dr. Froud urges her colleagues to refuse the request <a href="https://elderofziyon.blogspot.com/2022/03/columbia-bds-professor-little-unclear.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">on the grounds that the University of Haifa is an “apartheid institution,” and adhere to the demands of the “Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions Movement</a>.”

I urge you to consider this request in light of the Boycotts, Divestments, and Sanctions Movement for freedom and justice in Palestine. Like many/most academic institutions in Israel, Haifa University is an apartheid institution.

<a href="https://www.uccs.edu/knapsack/institute-faculty/stephany-rose-phd">Dr. Stephany Rose</a> is a Professor of Women &amp; Ethnic Studies at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. Rose argues that successful black people who believe in the “American dream” perpetuate white supremacy and that it’s unfortunate that many black people buy into the notion that “the American dream is available to any and everyone as long as you work hard.” Rose stated that it doesn't help when prominent black people in the media perpetuate an idea that America is post-racial. She is also the author the book “Abolishing White Masculinity.”

<a href="https://physics.unh.edu/people/faculty/chanda-prescod-weinstein" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Dr. Chanda Prescod-Weinstein</a> is an Assistant Professor in the <a href="https://physics.unh.edu/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Department of Physics and Astronomy</a> and a Core Faculty Member of the <a href="https://cola.unh.edu/womens-gender-studies" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Women’s and Gender Studies</a> Department at the <a href="https://cola.unh.edu/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">University of New Hampshire</a>.
As a member of the organization, <a href="https://www.particlesforjustice.org/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Particles for Justice</a>, Dr. Prescod-Weinstein was a primary organizer for the “Strike for Black Lives” in June of 2020.
Particles for Justice is a far-left organization composed of scientists and mathematicians who are <a href="https://www.wired.com/story/physicists-condemn-sexism-through-particles-for-justice/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">dedicated to ending what they allege as “rampant racism and sexism in STEM fields</a>.” The group was first organized in 2018 to protest a lecture by physicist Alessandro Strumia, in which he affirmed that biological differences exist between men and women.
In the Summer of 2020, Dr. Prescod-Weinstein—who identifies as a <a href="https://magazine.scienceforthepeople.org/web-extras/particles-for-justice-racial-justice/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">“black queer femme physicist”</a> and an “<a href="https://www.cprescodweinstein.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">activist for equality in science</a>”—and other scientists organized the strike among academics in solidarity with the <a href="https://m4bl.org/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Movement for Black Lives</a> (MBL), also referred to as the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement.
According to a <a href="https://thefederalist.com/2020/09/16/study-up-to-95-percent-of-2020-u-s-riots-are-linked-to-black-lives-matter/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">study conducted by the Armed Conflict Location and Event Data Project (ACLED)</a>, BLM can be linked to 95% of the riots around the country–notably in Summer 2020 following the death of George Floyd. In an analysis of the study, <a href="https://thefederalist.com/2020/09/16/study-up-to-95-percent-of-2020-u-s-riots-are-linked-to-black-lives-matter/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Federalist</a> found, “of the 633 incidents coded as riots, 88 percent are recorded as involving Black Lives Matter Activists.” The resulting riots were the largest in American history, <a href="https://fee.org/articles/george-floyd-riots-caused-record-setting-2-billion-in-damage-new-report-says-here-s-why-the-true-cost-is-even-higher/#:~:text=Only%20now%20are%20we%20beginning,%241%20billion%20to%20%242%20billion." target="_blank" rel="noopener">causing an estimated $2 billion in damages and 47 deaths.</a>
According to an official letter for the group—co-authored by Dr. Prescod-Weinstein—the organizers allege black students feel unsafe on <a href="https://www.particlesforjustice.org/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">“predominantly white campuses” and professors face “anti-blackness” in academia</a>. The organizers called for <a href="https://www.particlesforjustice.org/strike-details" target="_blank" rel="noopener">academics to cease their normal university duties and spend the day protesting or conducting “antiracist“ actions on behalf of BLM</a>. As of June 10th, 2020, the website listed 5,874 administrators and professors as having walked off their jobs during the strike.
In her own personal statement authored for the strike, Dr. Prescod-Weinstein describes her efforts organizing the strike and the ongoing national protests as <a href="https://www.particlesforjustice.org/note" target="_blank" rel="noopener">an attempt to “save her life&#8221; and “the lives of all black people.</a>” She further decries having to conform culturally and professionally to “whiteness,” and urges white people to take up anti-racist work in order to make black people feel more comfortable.
Dr. Prescod-Weinstein’s activism and views are further displayed on her <a href="https://twitter.com/IBJIYONGI" target="_blank" rel="noopener">personal Twitter account</a>. She consistently tweets condemnations of America and conservatives as racist, support for critical race theory, and accusations that Israel is committing genocide against Arabs:

In a separate paper for The University of Chicago—​​titled, “Making Black Women Scientists under White Empiricism: The Racialization of Epistemology in Physics”— Dr. Prescod-Weinstein <a href="https://www.journals.uchicago.edu/doi/full/10.1086/704991#_i5" target="_blank" rel="noopener">decries the concept of objectivity under “European ideas of science”</a> dominating her field through “colonial force.” She defines “white empiricism” as serving “white supremacist traditions in science” at the expense of black scientists.

Dr. Omar Suleiman is an adjunct professor of Islamic Studies and a member of the <a href="https://www.smu.edu/Provost/Ethics/AboutUs/AdvisoryBoard" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Ethics Center Advisory Board</a> at <a href="https://www.smu.edu/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Southern Methodist University</a> in Dallas, Texas. A prominent interfaith activist, he serves as <a href="https://yaqeeninstitute.org/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">President for the Yaqeen Institute for Islamic Research</a>, resident scholar for the Valley Ranch Islamic Center, and a member of the leadership council of <a href="https://www.faithforwarddallas.org/leadership" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Faith Forward Dallas at Thanksgiving Square</a>.
Dr. Suleiman has praised Islamic terrorism and is a fierce opponent of the existence of Israel. Furthermore, he remains an active affiliate for Islamist organizations with connections to the Muslim Brotherhood and radicals convicted of terrorism.
The controversy surrounding Dr. Suleiman’s work first arose when he was invited to give the opening invocation for the House of Representatives in May 2019. In response, New York Representative, Lee Zeldin, condemned the decision over what he described as Dr. Suleiman’s support of the Muslim Brotherhood and Islamic terrorism.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR)<a href="https://www.cair.com/press_releases/cair-dallas-calls-on-people-of-conscience-to-stand-with-imam-omar-suleiman-condemn-smear-campaign-launched-after-his-prayer-in-congress/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> leapt to Dr. Suleiman’s defense</a>, stating,
“These attacks are in bad faith and meant to again send a message to the American Muslim community that we are not welcome to assert ourselves in any meaningful space or way.“
Dr. Suleiman further described the accusations to The Middle-East Monitor as a “<a href="https://www.middleeasteye.net/news/omar-sulaiman-attacked" target="_blank" rel="noopener">coordinated smear campaign” to “erase Muslim leaders from public life</a>,” by “antisemitic” news outlets.

Many organizations supported by Dr. Suleiman maintain active connections to the Brotherhood. He <a href="https://www.meforum.org/campus-watch/58573/omar-suleiman-and-the-vile-propaganda" target="_blank" rel="noopener">raises money for the anti-Israel group American Muslims for Palestine</a> (AMP) and has <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AJwSwk7Nsbo&amp;ab_channel=BluePeace" target="_blank" rel="noopener">spoken at the conferences of the Islamic Society of North America</a> (ISNA). Dr. Suleiman <a href="https://www.cair.com/press_releases/dr-omar-suleiman-to-offer-address-for-dec-4-cair-annual-gala/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">has further associations with the Council of American Islamic Relations (CAIR)</a>.
CAIR, ISNA, and AMP are regarded to be front groups for the Muslim Brotherhood in the United States. ISNA and the predecessor to AMP (the Islamic Association for Palestine) are identified in <a href="https://www.investigativeproject.org/documents/misc/20.pdf#page=21" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Muslim Brotherhood documents as organizations to further the group’s goals in North America</a>. Members of CAIR were recorded by the FBI in a <a href="https://www.investigativeproject.org/282/cair-executive-director-placed-at-hamas-meeting" target="_blank" rel="noopener">1993 meeting in Philadephia discussing how to assist the terrorist group Hamas </a>in derailing the then-ongoing peace negotiations in Israel. The latter was submitted as evidence in the Holy Land Foundation terrorism financing trial in which CAIR and ISNA were implicated by the Justice Department.
Once the largest Muslim charitable organization in the United States, the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development (HLF) and five of its leaders were <a href="https://www.justice.gov/opa/pr/federal-judge-hands-downs-sentences-holy-land-foundation-case" target="_blank" rel="noopener">convicted in 2008 for funneling over $12 million dollars to Hamas</a>. CAIR and ISNA were <a href="https://www.nationalreview.com/2010/10/unindicted-coconspirators-andrew-c-mccarthy/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">both labeled as unindicted co-conspirators in the terror-financing trial</a>.
Despite the evidence, Dr. Suleiman continues to align with CAIR and alleges that the convicted HLF members are innocent. In an article for <a href="https://religionnews.com/2021/10/11/3932775/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Religion News Service,</a>  Dr. Suleiman describes those convicted as “political prisoners&#8221; and innocent of any crimes. Dr. Suleiman has additionally defended Aafia Siddiqui, also known as “lady Al-Qaeda.” Siddiqui is currently <a href="https://archives.fbi.gov/archives/newyork/press-releases/2010/nyfo092310.htm" target="_blank" rel="noopener">serving an 86-year sentence for attempting to murder US soldiers in Afghanistan</a>. A prominent interfaith activist, he serves as <a href="https://yaqeeninstitute.org/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">President for the Yaqeen Institute for Islamic Research</a>, resident scholar for the Valley Ranch Islamic Center, and a member of the leadership council of <a href="https://www.faithforwarddallas.org/leadership" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Faith Forward Dallas at Thanksgiving Square</a>.

Dr. Suleiman has praised Islamic terrorism and is a fierce opponent of the existence of Israel. Furthermore, he remains an active affiliate for Islamist organizations with connections to the Muslim Brotherhood and radicals convicted of terrorism.

The controversy surrounding Dr. Suleiman’s work first arose when he was invited to give the opening invocation for the House of Representatives in May 2019. Dr. William (Bill) Gibson is a <a href="https://www.vwu.edu/marlin-directory.php?person=0000206" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Chair and Professor of Political Science</a> at Virginia Wesleyan University. His areas of interest include environmental policy, nature resources management, and intergovernmental relations. The courses Dr. Gibson teaches include Conflict Management, Urban Politics, and Public Administration. In 2013, Dr. Gibson co-authored a book titled, “<a href="https://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/the-case-for-grassroots-collaboration-john-charles-morris/1115393897" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Case for Grassroots Collaboration: Social Capital and Ecosystem Restoration at the Local Level</a>.”
In February of 2021, Dr. Gibson found himself in hot water amongst conservatives when an <a href="https://www.yaf.org/news/vwu-professor-attacks-conservatives-in-internal-email-i-am-sickened-examine-your-conscience/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">inflammatory email leaked to Young America’s Foundation</a>. In the email, Dr. Gibson resigned from his role as a chapter advisor for a conservative student group on campus. The email showed his true hatred of conservatives. You will have to find another faculty advisor for your group.” Dr. Gibson goes on to call conservatives a disgrace and illegitimate. He closes out the email by stating, “each of you should take a break and examine your conscience.”
According to Young America’s Foundation, the university did not comment as to whether or not they discussed the email with Dr. Gibson. As of Fall 2021, it does not appear that Dr. Gibson faced any consequences for his accusatory email to the conservative club.  It also looks like he is still teaching at the university.

Dr. William (Bill) Gibson is a <a href="https://www.vwu.edu/marlin-directory.php?person=0000206" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Chair and Professor of Political Science</a> at Virginia Wesleyan University. His areas of interest include environmental policy, nature resources management, and intergovernmental relations. The courses Dr. Gibson teaches include Conflict Management, Urban Politics, and Public Administration. In 2013, Dr. Gibson co-authored a book titled, “<a href="https://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/the-case-for-grassroots-collaboration-john-charles-morris/1115393897" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Case for Grassroots Collaboration: Social Capital and Ecosystem Restoration at the Local Level</a>.”

In February of 2021, Dr. Gibson found himself in hot water amongst conservatives when an <a href="https://www.yaf.org/news/vwu-professor-attacks-conservatives-in-internal-email-i-am-sickened-examine-your-conscience/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">inflammatory email leaked to Young America’s Foundation</a>. In the email, Dr. Gibson resigned from his role as a chapter advisor for a conservative student group on campus. The email showed his true hatred of conservatives. Many <a href="https://thepostmillennial.com/guns-knives-and-other-weapons-confiscated-from-suspects-at-portland-antifa-riot/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">members arm themselves with knives and firearms</a> to violently confront conservatives at events. In the Summer of 2021, <a href="https://thepostmillennial.com/us-attorneys-office-in-dc-refuses-to-investigate-attack-on-rand-paul/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">members of Antifa attacked Senator Rand Paul</a> and his wife as they walked through Washington D.C.
When sitting down for a conversation with an undercover Project Veritas reporter, Mr. Gipe describes himself politically, “as far left as you can go.” Continuing, he depicts his fantasy involving taking up arms and overthrowing the government in a communist revolution.
Throughout the video, Mr. Gipe can be seen wearing a shirt adorned with red and black flags and the slogan, “antifaschistische aktion.” The phrase and symbol were originally used by the <a href="https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2020/01/the_fascist_roots_behind_todays_justification_of_political_violence.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Communist Party of Germany (KPD) in the 1920s and early 1930s</a>. Founded, funded, and directed by the Soviet Union—and working alongside a fledgling NAZI party— the KPD hoped to spark a communist revolution in Germany that would overthrow the Weimar Republic.
In the video, Mr. Gipe can be heard describing his involvement both in Antifa groups throughout California and in organizing protests against right-wing groups in Sacramento. He proceeds to describe how he lists left-wing events on his classroom whiteboard—including Antifa protests—and bribes his students by offering them extra credit to attend.
